They market the products and services through its own network of independent sellers, which they refer to as Independent Business Owners (IBOs).

  • high-speed internet
  • television services

The company is currently based in North Carolina, United States.

Is ACN a Pyramid Scheme?

Since ACN members earn money both by selling products and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that ACN is not a pyramid scheme.

It is unadvisable to join ACN.

A legitimate business should invest more on training its members.

I do not think that ACN is doing that, since they insist on recruiting more members instead.

This move makes them look like a pyramid scheme.

Like LuLaRoe, Paparazzi, and Pampered Chef, ACN is not a pyramid scheme.

No Income Disclosure Statement

According to my research, it looks like ACN has no proper income disclosure data.

When you encounter an MLM that cannot show their income disclosure statement, I suggest that you run away from it.

That could only mean one thing – those who join are not making the money as advertised.

You should be asking yourself this right now: ‘Is ACN a Pyramid Scheme? It definitely looks like one?

Is ACN a Scam?

No, ACN is not a scam. However, this video might help you with your decision whether you should join or not.

Recruiting people is the best way you can earn money from MLMs. ACN is not any different.

How To Make Money From ACN

There are only two major ways to make money with ACN.

  1. Selling products.
  2. Recruiting people to your downline. You earn commissions from the sales of those you recruited.

Remember that it is always a red flag when you have to pay a steep price first to get started.

How to Join ACN

Before you join ACN, I think you should check out this video first to get a grasp about the company.

To become an ACN Independent Business Owner, click this link.

Here are the steps you need to follow to ensure a smoother application process:

  1. Provide your Sponsor ID.
  2. Complete the online application form by providing your personal information.
  3. Make sure that you remember the password you provide.
  4. Read and agree to the terms and conditions.
  5. Finish the payment process.

The ACN Independent Business Owner Start-Up Fee

To start your journey as an ACN Independent Business Owner, you have to pay $199.

For this fee, you are eligible to conduct business in under the company for one year.

For an additional $25 a month, you can maintain your active status with the company.

The price is quite steep for starting out, in my opinion.

There are quite a lot of businesses offering the same services as ACN, so I think selling the services that the company advertise is quite tough to do.

In my opinion, the starting fee should be lower.

Unlike other MLMs which provide physical products that you can refund in case you fail to make sales, you cannot refund your ACN starter fee once you have already started.

I do not recommend joining an MLM that requires you to pay a steep fee upfront.

But wait, all MLMs are like that… Never mind then.

Things I Like in ACN

ACN is another company in an already oversaturated market.

They have no income disclosure, the starting fee is steep, and the market offers more alternatives that are cheaper, and you can ensure that your money is in good hands.

I do not think it is a good idea to join this company.

Things I Dislike in ACN

Vicious Recruiting

If you want to see your investment back, then you would have to recruit people to join the company.

ACN is one of the companies that will screw you over with your earnings if you do not bring people in the company.

I mean, aren’t all MLMs like that?

You have no escape from this because ACN gives you bigger commissions from recruiting rather than selling. Recruiting is easier said than done, so good luck with that.

Get in Debt Fast

The company’s compensation plan is long, complicated, and full of terms that the average person will not understand.

Why would you read something so complicated if there are other companies that could explain better?

It is almost as if they do not intend to properly explain how you will be making money, and they probably do not plan to do so.

You thought you are going to be your own boss? Well, here is the cold, hard truth: you are not your own boss.

ACN Compensation Plan

The ACN Compensation plan can be accessed with this link.

The compensation plan is full of terms that you will not understand, so I think a video will be able to explain it to you better.

Just look at how long this video is. If this is the condensed version, I think I would rather watch my screensaver.

This is like sitting down in a boring college lecture. Flashbacks, anyone?

ACN Ranks

There are 6 total ranks that you can reach in ACN.

To advance to the next rank, members should meet specific requirements and maintain them on a monthly basis.

  1. Independent Business Owner (IBO)
  2. Customer Qualified IBO (CQ)
  3. Executive Team Leader (ETL)
  4. Regional Director (RD)
  5. Regional Vice President (RVP)
  6. Senior Vice President (SVP)

Final Verdict ? ACN

To be honest, I could not stress enough how much I do not recommend this company to you.

From the first time I laid my eyes on the services they are offering, I know that this will be a difficult sale.

First, there are a lot of companies out there who provide better services than ACN, so this will make it hard for you to sell the company’s services.

Also, look from this perspective. Which do you think will people choose when it comes to the services offered? You, or an established company with a physical location where they can go to whenever they need to?

I do no think they will trust a stranger like you to sell them services that would be detrimental to their homes and businesses.

Even I would choose a more well-known company to handle these kinds of things for me, wouldn’t I?

Why would they choose you, someone with no proper training, to sell them these services?

The answer to that is they won’t, since they will probably go somewhere else.

Another thing I would like to stress about is they have no income disclosure statement, and this clearly speaks volumes about the company’s intentions.

Why would they hide important data to the people who want to join the company?

Is it because they are not earning as much as they advertised or are they hiding something? If so, why would they hide it?

Either way, that in itself sounds shady.

Because we have no way to tell for sure, it is better to speculate that people do not make money in this company.

This business opportunity does not sound stable at all from the get-go, so if you want to make money, you better look somewhere else.

That?s it for today?s review.

I do not recommend MLMs. but if you want to make money online, you should check out my #1 recommendation to making money online after reviewing 300+ MLM companies.
