Eric Preston is the founder and CEO of Agent Launch, a company that specializes in digital marketing techniques for real estate investing. Prior to starting a career in marketing, Eric had experience working as a bartender. He worked as a bartender for more than a year.
A few months after he had left the restaurant that he worked at, he had gotten a job as a representative for sales development for a marketing agency that mainly focuses on the real estate industry. Within two months of working there, he was promoted as an account executive. He was actually the first one who had that kind of position in the company. So he pretty much set the standard on what kind of tasks are need for a position like that.
It seems that he had stayed with that company for the next year or so. He been promoted twice after his initial promotion. So he was doing a pretty good job within the company to be able to promoted within, like, 10 months. He had quit his marketing job to become an actual realtor. I guess that talking to a lot of other realtors would get you a lot of knowledge about the industry. He worked as a realtor for about two years.
Then he went back to co-found a digital marketing agency still focused in real estate investing. By the middle of 2020, he decided to work as a realtor on top of running his own digital marketing agency. This is one of those rare moments where somebody sticks to what they know. There’s nothing particularly revolutionary about what you’re going to learn from Eric Preston in the Agent Launch course that’s not already out there. It basically just boils down to “find a niche and make videos about it.” The problem with find a niche, especially in real estate, is that there’s probably already hundreds of people doing the same thing already. There isn’t really much else that you could talk about without being redundant.
But really, the thing that you’re selling is yourself. You’re presenting yourself to other people in order for them to be interested in your business. There’s no other people they’re going to talk to but you. (Well, except if you have a small-sized realty. But, those kinds of people probably have a marketing budget of some sorts.)
There’s nothing about the course that makes it worth a recommendation. It’s marketing course in the context of real estate investing. You already have the knowledge when it comes to real estate investing. All you really have to do is talk to a camera about what you know. Unless you’re somebody who already is a real estate investor, there’s no reason for you to take this course.
