APLGO Review: MLM Company Or Pyramid Scheme?

APLGO Review: MLM Company Or Pyramid Scheme?

Today, we’re going to talk about a company named APLGO. Can this company offer a good business venture? Let’s find out in this APLGO review.

To start off this APLGO review, let me commend your due diligence on researching this first before you invest in this program.

As you may already know, there are several opportunities out there claiming to help individuals earn a lot of money, especially online. You may have seen these offers around advertised around the internet or other media.

While they can come in many forms, many of them will introduce what they usually call a new “business opportunity”. Unfortunately, the legitimacy claims of these opportunities can always vary.

Some of them are proven to be legit. A few of them are just scams in disguise. Still, others may very well be legitimate, but they don’t work well according to what you want to do.

That’s why, before you spend your hard-earned money to join any of these opportunities, you should do plenty of research first. So you can decide for yourself if the opportunity offered is something that you’d like to do, or not.

And this is what this APLGO review aims to do. Hopefully, this review can help you out with that important decision of yours.

As a disclaimer, this is a fully unbiased APLGO review, based solely on my own observation and honest opinion. Furthermore, you won’t find any affiliate links about this product here, as I’m not affiliated with APLGO at all.

APLGO Review: Company Details

  • Name: APLGO
  • Website: https://us.aplgo.com/
  • Type: Multi Level Marketing
  • Niche: Health & Wellness
  • Owner: Sergey Kulikov
  • Price: $25 (APLGO Affiliate Membership) + Go-Kit ($100 to $3000)
  • Recommended?: Not at all. MLMs are too unreliable as a business venture due to their focus on recruitment instead of selling. Besides, they could become unethical.

What Is APLGO?

#APLGO

APLGO is a company that specializes in selling products that are classified under the health and wellness niche. As such, it offers a variety of health supplements, and they even have a line that offers various beauty products like cosmetics, skincare products, and others.

It’s also a multi-level marketing company that claims to provide opportunities for various people to earn money. And this is by being a reseller (or an affiliate) of their products to earn commissions.

Previously, they were known as an eCommerce store named Ageo Product Line back in 2017, and they didn’t have a network marketing compensation plan structure. They just gradually adopted this business model when they became known as APLGO.

The company first started business in Russia. But it has soon expanded to other branches around the world, including the U.S., where they have an office located in Florida.

How Does The Multi Level Marketing Business Model Work?

Welcome to the part where we discuss multi-level marketing in general, why it’s the worst, and why I believe all MLMs should be out of business.

Let’s discuss how MLMs employ cult-like methods to brainwash their members in order to control them and extract as much money from them as possible.

Have you ever attended a multi-level marketing convention? You can readily discover footage of them on YouTube or on the websites of their respective companies.

The videos are usually brief montages of what they do during their conferences, but upon closer examination, it seems to be more of a cult meeting than a convention.

I stand by my statement that MLMs use cult-like methods to keep their members in line. To be honest, it is the basis of all multi-level marketing companies.

They’ll keep earning money as long as there are individuals they can persuade to join up.

Consider how MLMs often claim that joining them would result in you earning a full-time income. As you can see, that’s a really enticing offer.

People desire to make a lot of money without working an 8-hour day every day. MLMs make it seem as though you can rely on them.

The indoctrination begins as soon as you walk in. They’ll tell you how much money you can earn in a short period of time if you ‘work hard.’

So, if that’s the case, why aren’t all MLM participants successful? Why are the majority of them in debt?

That’s all there is to it. It’s because it’s a complete fabrication. They just care about your money, and once you give it to them, they don’t care about you anymore.

You’ll just waste plenty of time and money when you join MLMs. That’s why it’s not recommended at all.

The People Behind APLGO

According to their official website, the head office of APLGO consists of a rather sizeable team that consists of 6 departments and 16 divisions.

Its founder, and current president, is Sergey Kulikov, a well-known entrepreneur.

APLGO - Sergey Kulikov

Before he started APLGO, he’s been the creator of some projects that revolve around education and so. In fact, he is the author of the internal online educational platform used within APLGO since 2014 that tracks and manages Associate efficiency.

Meanwhile, his wife, Olga Kulikova, serves as the creative director of APLGO, and the chief editor of APL PLANET, the official magazine of APLGO.

APLGO - Olga Kulikova

Her achievements and credentials are also not to be underestimated. She has obtained three diplomas of higher education and one science degree. And she has attended about 50 training events and seminars, taught by famous speakers and coaches.

A bit of a backstory about this couple. When Sergey was still 17 years old, he enrolled in a network marketing company.

Within a month, he built a bigger structure than most highly experienced network marketing professionals. Thanks to this, his income within the company increased

But one day, the executives of this company decided to take a part of his structure from him. He couldn’t stand being treated so unfairly, so he left that company immediately and decided to build his own company.

This is the start of APLGO. But he still credits his former company because of the valuable lessons he learned there. More importantly, it’s where Sergey met his future wife, Olga.

Is APLGO A Pyramid Scheme?

A common misconception about MLM companies is that they’re actually elaborate pyramid schemes. This is only half-true, though.

Let’s have a quick definition of a pyramid scheme first. A business model runs on a pyramid scheme if it involves recruiting several others into the scheme, with the promise of earning a percentage of commissions for each new member being recruited. Thus, the more you recruit to the business, the higher your earnings can be.

You can also earn even more commissions if the new members you recruited, have also recruited new members of their own. However, an MLM company can only be labeled as a pyramid scheme if it doesn’t have any tangible products to sell or offer.

Since APLGO members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that APLGO is not a pyramid scheme. Just like the others like FirstFitness Nutrition and E Excel.

However, since APLGO is still an MLM, do not expect to make money if you have no plans on recruiting people. Recruiting will earn you significantly more money than actual product selling, and is more encouraged.

In fact, there are some MLM companies who only use the products as a front so their pyramid scheme would seem legal by law. I’m not really sure if APLGo is one of them, but due to the factors previously mentioned, this just makes it look like a pyramid scheme in disguise, doesn’t it?

APLGO Products

As stated before, APLGO’s products are divided into two classifications: Health Supplements & Beauty Products.

Applying to be a network marketer for APLGO also allows you to buy these products from their store at a discounted price.

Health Supplements

APLGO - Acumullit SA

The health supplements offered by APLGO are based on their so-called “Acumullit SA” technology.

The official website gives plenty of technical mumbo-jumbo about the technology, involved, so it might not be clearly understood by ordinary people. But to simplify, the Acumillit SA technology is what enables them to completely capture and extract all the nutrition and health benefits of various plant products, and pack them into their products.

Here’s the complete list of all the health supplements offered by APLGO, their benefits, as well as their prices when they’re individually bought.

  • ALT (ALTERNATE) – Helps support normal breathing and boost the immune system. ($75 USD)
  • BRN (BRAINY) – Supports cognitive function. ($100 USD)
  • BTY (BEAUTY) – Anti-aging product. ($100 USD)

  • HPR (HEPAR) – Helps to detoxify the body. ($75 USD)

Beauty Products

APLGO BEAUTY

The beauty products line of APLGO isn’t as comprehensive as their health supplement line. And they only seem to serve as an additional product line for others who are interested in beauty and skincare products.

Part of this line includes the BTY anti-aging supplement. But APLGO also offers various beauty products like eye creams, body milk, facial wash, creams, and even others.

How to Join APLGO?

There are two options on how you can earn money through APLGO.

The first option is called the Basic Customer Pack. You simply pay $25, and then you can now buy APLGO’s products for a cheaper wholesale price (on which you can sell them at retail price to others). This method is the cheapest and simplest, but usually doesn’t let you earn more money.

The second option is where the recruitment factor plays in to earn money. It’s called the Associate Pack. To join, you also need to pay $25.

However, in addition to that, you should also purchase any of their product packages offered. Here’s the list of the product packages offered by APLGO, their price, as well as the affiliate level that you’ll acquire upon purchasing.

  • PR And Detox Package –  $100 (GOSTATUS: Promoter)
  • Vibrant Youth Package –  $200 (GOSTATUS: Associate)
  • Family Package –  $400 (GOSTATUS: Builder)
  • President Package –  $600 (GOSTATUS: Mentor)
  • Fantastic Package –  $1800 (GOSTATUS: VIP)
  • Super 5 Package – $3000 (GOSTATUS: Diamond)

The “GOSTATUS” rank simply determines the commission percentage you can earn from recruiting others to the company, as well as the other bonuses as stated on their compensation plan.

APLGO Compensation Plan

The following incomes are in the APLGO compensation plan.

  1. First Order Bonus
  2. Sales Volume Bonus
  3. Customer Bonus
  4. Reorder Bonus
  5. Group Bonus
  6. Matching Group Bonus
  7. Unilevel Bonus
  8. Lifestyle Bonus
  9. Activity Bonus
  10. Infinity Bonus
  11. Entertainment Bonus
  12. Manager Bonus
  13. Luxury Bonus

Explaining how these bonuses are earned is already beyond the scope of this APLGO review. So if you’re curious about how the APLGO compensation plan works, you can watch the video below. Note that the video is pure bias, as it’s made by an APLGO affiliate, but it clearly explains the compensation plan well.

Should I Join APLGO?

I’m going to give you a straight-up answer. NO! NOT NOW! NOT EVER!

On the surface, it looks promising, and they present this to you as a very good opportunity to earn an amount of money that’s equal, if not more than, a full-time job. Just as long as you work hard, and follow their guidelines.

However, you’re going to see that, at its core, it’s another one of those health and wellness MLMs. The products that they offer aren’t anything new or revolutionary, and it’s made even worse since we’re in the health niche, there are many businesses competing.

You can find out how many companies are offering identical goods by doing a simple online search, with the only variation being the names and prices.

Although there are many MLMs in this niche, the majority of them are not MLMs. Because consumers trust those businesses, competing with them is difficult.

Since MLMs have a poor image, it’s difficult to stand out from all those tough competition.

Furthermore, the primary method of making money here is by recruiting new members. However, that should not stop there, right? You need to train these people to sell the products, too.

It takes a lot of expertise to be able to sell goods. Members will suffer if they are not adequately taught.

It’s no surprise that most MLMs don’t actually teach their members in selling. This explains why they do not do well.

Ultimately, this is an MLM. And for sure, a lot of people definitely failed in this venture. In fact, 99% of people who join MLMs fail to make money, and they do not even earn back their initial investment.
