Atomy Review: Pyramid Scheme or Scam?

Atomy Review: Pyramid Scheme or Scam?

Today we will be reviewing a company called Atomy. Is Atomy a pyramid scheme or scam? Find out in this Atomy review.

Let me guess why you found this Atomy review.

I could only think of a single reason. One of your friends, family, or random stranger on social media tried to recruit you to join the company.

First off, I am not affiliated to Atomy in any way.

These days, we do not even turn off the Wi-Fi or mobile data on our phones. It seems like every app we have requires online connectivity.

This makes our lives less secure, to be honest. Some apps also require our location data, which means that your current location is not that private anymore.

It is alright to be paranoid, as some apps can literally spy on you. It is good to always read what permissions every app requires from you.

You should also watch out for pyramid schemes, as these companies have also become creative. These “companies” do their best to look like legitimate businesses, when in truth, all they want is to recruit people in the pyramid.

Do not waste your time, money, and effort in a pyramid scheme.

Pyramid schemes are illegal and all you will be doing is causing problems to yourself.

The best way to avoid scams is to do your research.

Look for reviews, like this one. Make sure that the reviews you will be using as reference are not paid for by these fake companies.

In this Atomy review, I will be providing information about the company, its products, and how you can make money with it.

Hopefully this Atomy review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

What is Atomy?

Atomy is a multi-level marketing company that sells personal care products.

This company was founded in 2009 at South Korea.

Atomy operates in different countries. Lately, it has started getting traction in the United States.

This video can help you learn more about Atomy and can help you gain interest in the company.

Just like other MLMs, this company markets and sells its products through their group of independent sellers that they refer to as Atomy sales reps.

Atomy Review - Atomy products

Atomy sells the following products:

  • health care products
  • skin care products
  • oral care products
  • makeup
  • lip care products
  • oral care products
  • hair & body products
  • hand care products
  • detergent
  • kitchen products
  • coffee
  • food
  • tea

Is Atomy a Pyramid Scheme?

Since Atomy members earn money both by selling products and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that Atomy is not a pyramid scheme.

Just like other MLMs selling personal care products, Atomy gives little care on providing proper sales and marketing training to their members. Typical MLM move.

And of course, their main focus is on recruiting. Nothing new here.

Like 4Life, Forever Living, and Xyngular, Atomy is not a pyramid scheme.

No Income Disclosure Statement

We all know that a company with no proper income disclosure statement is a red flag.

If a company you are interested to join or invest in does not have an income disclosure statement, then I suggest that you look elsewhere.

That company is either hiding something from you or its members do not make money as they advertise.

Steer clear from it.

Do not exert money, time, and effort on something that will give you problems in the long run. I am sure you will find a better opportunity elsewhere.

Is Atomy a Scam?

No, Atomy is not a scam. However, I recommend that you watch this video to find out the facts that the company refuses to share with you.

Since the company has no income disclosure statement to share with us, we have no way to know how much Atomy sales reps actually earn.

We are all left in the dark here.

Anyway, the consolation is this company has been around from 2009.

The fact that they still exist must mean that the company and its members do make money.

We are just not sure how much money that is since we have no data.

How to Make Money from Atomy

Like other MLMs, there are only two major ways to make money from Atomy.

  1. Selling products. As an Atomy sales rep, you can get products for wholesale prices and then sell them for the retail prices to make your profit.
  2. Recruiting people. This is the bread and butter of all MLMs. Most of the time, you earn more from commissions from recruiting than selling products.

To start selling Atomy products, you do not need to purchase initial inventory. Surprising, right?

How to Join Atomy

If you want to join Atomy, you will need a sponsor.

Your sponsor will be the one guiding you through the registration process.

Before you join, I suggest that you watch this video as well.

Monthly Cost

Even though it is free to join Atomy, you will need t0 keep your membership status active to continue selling products.

To stay active, you will need to accumulate 10,000 per month.

Based on the products in their list, you will need to purchase a minimum of $20 worth of products per month to stay active.

That equates to $240 per year.

Anyway, even if the cost is this low, there is always a catch.

It seems like that this low cost to remain active is all a ruse, if you do the math.

Sure, it is only $240 a year, but think about this: you have the option to spend more if you want to.

You can literally buy your way through the ranks, which is bad.

In my opinion, PV should be equal to the amount of products sold by the sales rep, not by how much products they buy.

Things I Like in Atomy

Established Company

Atomy has been here since 2009. MLMs often have a short lifespan of 1 to 3 years, so we can consider Atomy pretty stable.

However, this does not mean that you surely earn money by joining the company.

Do not base your decision by this factor alone.

Free Registration

Unlike most MLMs, Atomy lets you in without having the risk of buying inventory that you cannot sell.

This means that you can freely learn the ropes without having the worry of carrying lots of inventory.

However, remember that if you want to rise up in the ranks, you have to buy your way in.

Things I Dislike in Atomy

Atomy Review - Oversaturation

Overly Saturated Market

The market is already full of companies selling the same products that Atomy sells. For better comparison, it is a mere shrub in acres of rainforest.

Atomy has nothing new to the market, so it does stand out whatsoever.

One of the first things that people look at when they are buying products is the brand.

Since Atomy is pretty unknown to them, you will find it difficult to sell products, especially if you are not properly trained to market them.

Atomy Review - Multi-level marketing

Focus on Recruitment

This is the primary aspect of MLMs, so do not expect to see this go away anytime soon.

You cannot get any success from Atomy if you will not recruit people in your downline.

The system is specifically designed for people to keep recruiting.

It would be easy if the products are actually easy to sell, but no.

You are left on your own most of the time, so you definitely will not be able to recruit as much people as you want.

If you are wondering why MLMs do not properly train their members in sales and marketing, then here is your reason: recruitment earns you more money than actual selling.

At this point, you may be wondering if Atomy is a pyramid scheme.

No, but it closely resembles one.

Buy Your Way to the Ranks

Like I mentioned earlier, maintaining your active status in Atomy is pretty cheap compared to other MLMs.

Since you have the option to actually spend more, I am sure that you will be tempted to do so.

To ascend the ranks, you need to gain PV which you can get by merely buying products, not selling them.

This means that you can just keep on buying without having to sell anything.

I do not recommend this at all since it does not make sense, but some people want to be competitive.

Atomy Compensation Plan

You can view Atomy’s compensation plan here.

Up to now, I still have no idea why these companies make such complicated compensation plans when it is much easier to just tell people upright how to make money.

Sure, it is not as long as the other compensation plans from the other companies I have reviewed before, but it should still be condensed.

If this is your first time ever joining an MLM, then bad luck.

You will have to read it repeatedly to understand it.

I have a better option for that. Just watch this video instead.

I will rather watch a video that have to read something so complicated.

However, this video is still quite long, so brace yourself. At least it discusses things much better than a lousy document.

Atomy Ranks

Atomy Review - Atomy ranks

There are 5 total ranks that you can reach in Forever Living. To advance to the next rank, members should meet specific requirements and maintain them on a monthly basis.

  1. Sales Rep
  2. Agent
  3. Sales Agent
  4. Dealer
  5. Executive Distributor

Final Verdict ? Atomy

Like I mentioned before, Atomy has nothing new to bring to the market. It is just one of the millions of companies that sells personal care products.

As Atomy really has nothing new to offer, it tries its best to advertise its products as unique.

It fails miserably since other companies advertise better.

Also, there are a lot of companies out there better than Atomy when it comes to personal care products.

These companies have stores that are easily accessible to customers.

Customers can walk in these establishments anytime they want without needing to find a consultant to order products from.

With the emergence of online stores and shopping websites, it is easier than ever to buy products from known brands.

If people want to buy personal care products, they will shop there and not from you.

Hard truth to face, but that is just how things go.

Also, having to beg people to join your downline is just scummy and predatory. How would you even sell the business idea to them?

It is not that easy to recruit people in a business that has really nothing new to offer.

People want to spend their money on opportunities that will actually benefit them.

From what we have discussed in this review, it is quite risky to join this company.

A company that rewards its sellers who buy products without caring if they sold the products says a lot about a company’s lack of compassion.

That’s it for my Atomy review.

I do not recommend MLMs. but if you want to make money online, you should check out my #1 recommendation to making money online after reviewing 300+ MLM companies.
