Automated Retail Commerce Review – Robert Miller Scam?

Today, we are going to talk about Automated Retail Commerce. Is it legit? Find out more in this review.

It’s no surprise that there are a ton of different companies that offer services related to any of Amazon’s many businesses.  If you think about it, a lot of people buy a lot of stuff from Amazon. People have their own reasons why they buy from Amazon or other e-commerce platforms. Usually, the main one is that it’s relatively easier to buy exactly the thing that you want without having to drive or commute to a nearby store. Sure, there are some effects that happen to small businesses in that community. But often, a few of them try to adapt to changing times. So they would often go to where the customers are. And that’s often online.

But not every business owner has the know-how when it comes to running a seller profile on some e-commerce platform like Amazon. It’s a bit of a different skill altogether. That’s why there are a lot of companies out there that offer training and consultation programs for people who want to take their first step in e-commerce. Most of them focus a lot more on Amazon because that’s where a lot of people go to buy stuff. Though, there are a lot that also focus on Shopify. But that’s mostly in relation to dropshipping.

DISCLAIMER: I am in no way affiliated with Robert Miller and Automated Retail Commerce in any way. This is just an independent review. You are still free to do whatever you want. But I hope that this review shapes your opinion on whether or not you should try this done-for-you service out.

Automated Retail Commerce Review: Quick Details

  • Name: Automated Retail Commerce
  • Founder: Robert Miller
  • Website: https://www.automatedretailcommerce.com/
  • Socials: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok
  • Type: Done-for-you services
  • Niche: E-commerce
  • Recommendation: Ecommerce takes a lot of time and money to make it work. While Automated Retail Commerce will alleviate some of the burden of running a storefront on Amazon, leaning on them heavily is not something that I would recommend. You still have to proactive with running the storefront because you invested heavily into that business.

Who Is Robert Miller?

Automated Retail Commerce founder Robert Miller

There’s not really much that you should really know with regards to Automated Retail Commerce founder Robert Miller. It seems that even as a teen, Robert had an interest in running his own business. From one of the interviews that I have seen him in, he mentions that he had taken up several associate degree programs in college, like business administration and economics. While those degree programs were useful, it didn’t really seem that the usual paths that those degrees were ones that Robert was interested in.

Like a lot of other people, Robert got into cryptocurrency. He managed to find success in it. Which lead him to write an e-book about it. Granted, at the time that he did that, crypto was just getting big. Everybody was looking for information on how they could start. And Robert had the thing that people were looking for. It proved to be a bit successful for him. He was running ads on places like Facebook. But that didn’t seem to have lasted long since the platform dialed down on allowing crypto-related ads on their website. At the same time, Robert got burnt out from it. So he decided to shift mostly to marketing.

He managed to build up a portfolio that he was able to apply for a job working for Grant Cardone and Frank Kern. Because Robert was working for somebody that he was a fan of, it kind of seemed that he lucked out with that job. But, like a lot of people, he kind of wondered if he had better opportunities to do something on his own. He eventually took initiative and started his own agency.

Then, at some point, Robert decided to shift towards the ecommerce route. He was able to do so much within a decade or so. Everything that he learned from his previous jobs he put into ecommerce. Which leads us to the creation of Automated Retail Commerce.

What Is Automated Retail Commerce?

Logo for Automated Retail Commerce

Automated Retail Commerce is a company that offers a done-for-you service where they manage an Amazon seller profile for you.

There is not really much else to it, honestly. You are basically just paying them money so that you don’t have to put in the work of launching a seller profile on Amazon on your own. There are a lot of legal processes you have to go through before you can actually begin to sell products on Amazon. If you choose to partner with Robert and Automated Retail Commerce, they will pretty much handle everything needed to launch a storefront within the larger Amazon ecosystem.

Automated Retail Commerce uses Amazon’s in-house fulfillment service, aptly named Fulfillment By Amazon, in order to store inventory, process and deliver the orders coming from your online storefront. Basically, Automated Retail Commerce sends out the items that your store is going to sell to one of Amazon’s nearby warehouses. So when someone buys a product from your storefront, it will directly notify the warehouse about the order. They will then pack the order and send it out to your customer. Aside from the inventory, processing and delivery, being signed on to Amazon’s fulfillment service also includes customer service.

In order for you to get more information about the entire process, you will need to fill out a form. The form will mostly be asking for some of your contact information like your name and email address. It will also ask you a few questions about why you want to have a done-for-you store. There are also questions about how much money you have available to invest into this business. It seems that the lowest amount that you can invest with regards to the services Automated Retail Commerce provides is $10,000.

Do They Offer Anything Else?

The website for Automated Retail Commerce

Unfortunately, Automated Retail Commerce doesn’t really offer any other major services besides the done-for-you Amazon storefront. Apparently, they will also help you find funding for your business in case that you may want to expand it. But there’s nothing else that they offer.

From what I could gather, Automated Retail Commerce previously focused on setting up storefronts on both Facebook Marketplace and Shopify. They utilized dropshipping as the primary method of selling products on those platforms. Dropshipping refers to a method where you let a third-party service handle the inventory and procurement of your products as well as the packaging and delivery. It is sort of similar to how Amazon’s fulfillment service does it. But with dropshipping, third-party service already has the products that you were going to sell on your own storefront.

Final Verdict – Automated Retail Commerce

There is nothing about Automated Retail Commerce that is worth recommending. You are pretty much putting in a lot of money so that Robert Miller and his team could do the work for you. And while that sounds like a good idea, there is no guarantee that your storefront will be hugely successful on the platform. You are competing with a lot of other stores on the platform, even with Amazon itself. There are probably a lot of other sellers that are also using Robert’s help.

Ecommerce is one of those things that is hard to get right. You have to make sure that the money that you are investing into the done-for-you service actually returns to you. Considering that you are putting tens of thousands of dollars into an online storefront, you’re going to expect that you will be getting a return on your investment within a year or so. Because it’s impossible to make a return on investment within just a few months. You might recoup some of the costs. But that’s it.

There are a lot of other ways of using the money that you may have. And ecommerce isn’t really it. Especially if you are expecting immediate gratification.
