To be honest, everyone is just trying to make ends meet with their current jobs, and is just trying to keep themselves sane by consuming various forms of media. Throughout this review, I will be telling you more about BeneYou, and give you a crash course about MLMs. This will be useful for you in the future.
Before we go further in this BeneYou MLM review, I will define two terms first: MLM and pyramid scheme.
MLM members make money by selling products and recruiting new members. In pyramid schemes, members could only make money by recruiting people. Pyramid schemes are illegal and banned by the FTC.

What is BeneYou?
BeneYou is a multi-level marketing company in the beauty and wellness niche. The company consists of three brands, which includes Avisae, M, and Jamberry. This merge of brands happened in 2018, as BeneYou was then acquired by Youngevity.
The founder of M Global, Ryan Anderson, now works as a chief sales officer in another MLM called Plexus. On the other hand, Youngevity has been in the business for more than 20 years now, and is currently headed by Steve Wallach.
BeneYou may be owned by Youngevity, but it operates independently. The company is currently based in Utah, United States.

How Do MLMs Work?
After knowing BeneYou’s history and taking a look at their products, I am sure that your interest with them grew slightly. Well, I am expecting that occurrence, so I am going to be telling you more about MLMs in this section. I figured that after spending quite a lot of time reviewing MLMs, it is time for me to share my knowledge.
This section will tell you more about the inner workings of an MLM; how they operate, how their business model works, and why I do not recommend them. Take note that my knowledge came from reputable sources, so if you are looking into MLM business opportunities, then I suggest you read this section entirely.
The thing that turned me off completely about MLM business opportunities is by how cult-like their business model is. You might be thinking that this is an exaggeration, but actually, I am speaking the truth here. If you know anything about cults, then let us visualize this part together.
We all know that cult members are absolutely loyal to the cult leader. In an MLM, it is eerily similar. MLM members have to show absolute loyalty to the MLM leader, and if they show a sign of faltering loyalty, they will then be kicked out and shunned.
That does not sound exactly bad but there are a lot of circumstances at play here. The reason why MLMs push recruiting is because they want a person’s support system to be encapsulated in the MLM. This means that if they turn away from it, they have no one else to go back to, as everyone has pledged loyalty to the company.
It sounds really creepy, but it really does happen.
Is BeneYou a Pyramid Scheme?
Since BeneYou members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that BeneYou is not a pyramid scheme.
However, since BeneYou is still an MLM, do not expect to make money if you have no plans on recruiting people. Recruiting will earn you significantly more money than actual product selling, and is more encouraged.
This just makes BeneYou look like a pyramid scheme in disguise, doesn’t it?
Like Gourmet Cupboard, New U Life, and La Bella Baskets, BeneYou is not a pyramid scheme.
Is BeneYou a Scam?
No, BeneYou is not a scam.
However, if you think this is enough for you to jump in BeneYou’s so-called opportunity straight away, then I suggest that you hold your horses. This is just the most basic thing, so don’t go signing up for this company right away.
Before making your decision, I suggest that you do a thorough research on the MLM first. You can consult some of the sources I listed below. Take note that you can definitely consult any source you want to, but the sources I listed below are the best kinds to consult, for various reasons listed.
What Sources Should You Look For?
There are three kinds of sources that you can consult when it comes to researching MLMs. There are other kinds of sources, but I believe that these two sources will be of the most help to you.
Impressively, you managed to find the best source all on your own. This BeneYou MLM review is an example of a third-party review, meaning that it is from an entity that has no connection with any MLM. In fact, what I said about third-party reviews being the best source is actually true, and I will explain why.
There are a lot of things that MLM companies hide, like the actual sales figures that their members make, and the success rate as a member. What they show to the people are only those things that paint the company in a good light, which is quite unfair. I figured that you know of how bad MLMs’ reputations are, right?
Since third-party reviews have no affiliations with any MLM, they have the freedom to publish whatever information it is they want. As long as they are factual, of course. What this means is that they are free to publish the things that these MLMs insist on hiding. They have totally no say over these.
That aside, this still does not make third-party reviews perfect. You have to consult more sources. For that, I recommend looking at online forums.
Forums are updated regularly, and are also moderated. You can engage in discourse with the other members in there, which will be able to give you a lot of insights you cannot find on your own. Surprisingly, some members of these forums used to be part of MLMs, and I am sure that they want to share their knowledge to people.
How to Make Money from BeneYou
Since BeneYou is an MLM, there are only two ways to make money with the company. and these are:
- Selling products
- Recruiting members
The two methods I mentioned above are essentially what the compensation plan boils down to.
Selling is the straightforward method where you get to buy products for a special discounted price, then sell them at the retail price dictated by the company. The difference is then your profit.
The recruiting aspect is the one that is highlighted here though, as it is pretty controversial. As you know, pyramid schemes also employ the same business tactic.
Remember that the MLM business model is not sustainable, so as time goes by, you will run out of people to recruit.
MLMs do not really care about how many products you sell. What they care about is how many you buy and how many people you can bring in.
How Much Can You Make?
This is the main question you have in mind before you even found this BeneYou MLM review. I won’t blame you, though. After all, isn’t the reason why you got interested with this company is that you think that you can make money here? I am about to answer your question, but…
Well, it seems like this company is just another typical MLM. They do not release a proper income disclosure statement, meaning that they do not want to be transparent to potential and current members.
This means I do not have the data with me which could answer your question. The source should be the company itself, but because they chose to hide it, then we are left with nothing to do but speculate.
Even though we are thinking that this should not be the way things should go, there is actually no law that punishes MLMs for not being transparent to the public. Well, I am actually not surprised about that. MLMs know how to get away with things.
It is still a big red flag, though. They are definitely hiding important information.
Things I Like in BeneYou
Wide Variety of Products
This is a good thing because this means that there is something for BeneYou for everyone. This will give you an opportunity as a BeneYou member to make a better sales pitch to your customers and potential members. The fact that they could find what they need in a company is something that people like in terms of purchasing.
Things I Dislike in BeneYou
Expensive Products
This is a problem not only with BeneYou but with other MLMs as well. They sell products at a much higher price point that their more well-known competitors that are not MLMs. They thought that selling products at a much expensive price means that customers that will see that their products are better.
Remember that people set budgets and want to follow them. They would not get out of their way in order to accommodate an MLM’s prices.
Recruitment is Encouraged
Remember that this is also how pyramid schemes run their businesses. Well, if you see a business where you can earn more from recruiting than selling, then run away from it. There will come a time where the money will stop coming because it is just statistically impossible to keep recruiting.
It is an MLM
This is an MLM, so it means that a lot of people definitely failed in this venture. In fact, 99% of people who join MLMs fail to make money, and they do not even earn back their initial investment.

Now that you have learned all about BeneYou, I figured that you have probably come into a decision. However, I suggest that you think about yourself first. Are you sure that you are doing the right choice. By right choice, what I meant is that you should listen to me and not join BeneYou or any other MLM.
I could not stress enough just how much I do not recommend any MLM. All MLMs are the same, even though they sell different products. They employ the same scummy tactics which involve members being required to hoard inventory, a ridiculous compensation plan that only rewards recruiting, and a lot of other suspicious things.
There is also the high failure rate that MLMs want to sweep under the rug. Of course, they would not want to let people know that 99% of those who join MLMs fail, but that is just what happens. A lot of research and studies back this too.
Are you sure that you want to get into a business that is not transparent to its members? Remember that you, as a member, are also an investor. You are required to pay before you can even start. You have the right to know about what is going on.
MLMs just insist that everything is fine, and all you need to do is to keep giving them your money. They want you to believe that one day, you will be successful, as long as you keep giving them money. That is definitely not the right way to do business, I am telling you.
