BitLocity MLM Review – Bitcoin Scam Or Pyramid Scheme?

BitLocity MLM claims to be the world’s first all-in-one decentralized platform. They say this because they provide crypto training while having a rewards program at the same time.

It’s not your ordinary rewards program, though. Every transaction within this program, including rewards payout, is paid through Bitcoin.

Sounds enticing, right? I don’t blame you as the current crypto craze will do that to you.

However, I suggest reading this BitLocity MLM review first before joining them. It’s MLM after all, and such business model is notorious for being a pyramid scheme (aka scam) in disguise.

Disclaimer: This is a completely unbiased review of BitLocity MLM. And I’m not affiliated with BitLocity MLM, or its creators, in any way.

My #1 Recommendation

BitLocity MLM Overview

BitLocity MLM is a crypto based MLM biz that uses Bitcoin in all its transaction. In their website, they described themselves as an “educational technology platform designed to educate people worldwide about Blockchain technology….”

There are two ways to earn with BitLocity MLM. First, you can watch their crypto training videos.

Such is an indirect way to earn money. You have to trade by yourself and make use of other sites outside BitLocity such as Metamask to gain profit.

Meanwhile, you can directly earn here through referrals. As expected from a MLM biz, you’re encouraged to recruit people to purchase a product from BitLocity MLM.

Every successful referral earns you a commission. The value of your commission depends on your membership tier on BitLocity MLM’s Infinity Line.

The Person Behind BitLocity MLM

BitLocity MLM Review: Mark Hamlin

BitLocity MLM doesn’t publicly disclosed on its website any info about who runs or owns the biz. My research, however, shows that they’re linked to Mark Hamlin.

In an already deleted video in BitLocity’s official Vimeo channel, Mark defends “his company” (BitLocity MLM) as they have connections to Qtrex. The latter is a Ponzi Pyramid scheme.

Currently, he’s not that active in promoting BitLocity MLM anymore. Instead, he posts sales pitch of crowdfunding programs such as Instant Recall and Upnomix in his YouTube channel.

Meanwhile, his personal Facebook account suggests something different too. For example, he promoted a crypto investment biz there called DeFi Entrepreneur.

Regardless, he’s a fantastic speaker in crowdfunding and crypto presentation. He seems to have no credentials to speak for such, but his eloquence and way with words makes up for it.

BitLocity MLM Crypto Training

This is the educational course offered by BitLocity MLM. Supposedly, this is what you’re trying to “sell” when recruiting.

Crypto Training Inclusion

In this section, we’ll walk you through the series of training videos offered by BitLocity MLM. Read carefully as they’re not readily available in BitLocity’s website.

Getting Started Training Videos

This is a series of introductory and basic training videos. Most topics are about how to navigate and use the features in the program’s site.

All the videos here are free when you sign up through a referral link.  The training videos here are titled as follows:

  • Welcome To BitLocity
  • Making A Deposit
  • Paying For Packages
  • The Dashboard
  • My Downline and my Matrix
  • Payments
  • Miscellaneous

When you pay for the annual membership fee, you’ll also get more of similar training videos. For example, you’ll get access to BitLocity MLM’s mobile app training, productivity essentials, and other bonus materials.

Premium Crypto Training Videos

Here, the video you can watch depends on your Infinity Line membership. Some videos would be locked if you don’t meet their minimum membership tier requirements.

This means that the membership tier is not limited to determining what you’ll earn from the rewards program. Instead, it’s also used to determine the scope of your actual crypto training.

First, the topics available for the Bronze tier or better are the following:

  • Introduction to Cryptocurrency
  • Beginner’s Guide to Tron Link
  • Coinmarketcap

For Silver tier or better, the topics are as follows:

  • Money vs. Crypto
  • A Beginner’s Guide to Metamask
  • Online Security

Next, the topics for the Gold tier or better are the following:

  • A Beginner’s Guide to Trust Wallet
  • Uphold Account Setup
  • Uphold Verification

Next, the topics for the Platinum tier or better are the following:

  • Registration/Verification in Coinbase
  • Linking Bank Accounts in Coinbase
  • Linking Debit Cards in Coinbase

For Pearl tier or better, the topics are as follows:

  • Coinbase Buying and Selling Crypto
  • Coinbase Sending and Receiving Crypto

For Amber tier or better, you’ll have access to Bittrex Exchange. Meanwhile, a Ruby tier and above will unlock Binance Exchange training.

Furthermore, Sapphire tier or better gives access to VPN Online Security training. For Emerald tier and above, you’ll get Trezor Cold Storage training.

For Diamond tier or better, you’ll have access to Mining training. On the other hand, Double Diamond and above will unlock Arbitrage training and ICO’s.

Finally, you’ll have access to every training, just like those in Double Diamond tier, when you’re subscribed to any VIP tiers. Specifically, the Blue Diamond, Ambassador, or Crown Ambassador tier.

Crypto Training Cost

The annual membership fee costs $25. This is without any refunds.

BitLocity MLM Infinity Line

This is the rewards program of BitLocity MLM. As explained earlier, the membership tier you pick here determines the amount of commission you’ll earn per referral.

Infinity Line Inclusion

As a general rule, you’ll only get commission from a referral with the same tier as you or lower.  As expected, you’ll earn better commissions if you upgrade to higher tiers.

For Bronze and Silver tier, the associates will be placed in a separate two straight-line gifting cycler. BitLocity calls this as the Global Infinity Line.

You’ll get a cut from the contribution of your first referral. The second one is shared between BitLocity admins and the person who referred you (sponsor).

For Gold tier and above, you’ll get commissions according to a 3×1 cycler. This is touted as the Dual Sided Max Leverage plan where BitLocity charges a $10 admin fee for every single referral.

For every ten referrals, the third and tenth will be shared to the admins and your sponsor. You’ll keep half of the contribution from the rest.

Half of the admin fees mentioned earlier is the fund for the Leadership top recruiter pool. Each month, the said pool is split among the top ten recruiting associates for that month.

To clarify, the recruitment count resets to zero every month. Your lifetime recruitment numbers doesn’t matter in the said pool, only your monthly numbers.

Infinity Line Cost

BitLocity MLM Review: Infinity Line Cost

The cost of each tier is shown in the picture above. To upgrade to a certain tier, you have to pay every cost of the tiers lower to it.

This means you need to pay at least $19,700 for the Double Diamond tier to unlock all the crypto training videos. Meanwhile, you need to pay $189,700 for the highest tier in Crown Ambassador.

BitLocity MLM doesn’t offer any refunds. You’ll also pay an equivalent amount listed above in Bitcoin.

My Favorite Program

What I Like About BitLocity MLM?

Unique Payment Method

Instead of paying traditional currency, you’ll use Bitcoin to join. You’ll also get payments in Bitcoin too.

This is not completely advantageous for me, it’s more like a double-edged sword. If you like the perks of using a decentralized currency, then you’ll like using Bitcoin here.

On the other hand, you’ll probably hate this if you’re not a fan of a volatile and unregulated asset. Setting up your own crypto wallet and protecting it from hackers can be a hassle too.

What I Dislike About BitLocity MLM?

In this section, we’ll discuss the things I dislike in BitLocity MLM. Spoiler alert, the cons definitely outweighs the pros.

Negative Reviews

Reading through the reviews in BitLocity MLM’s Trustpilot page, you’ll see a lot of hate. In general, they’re calling BitLocity a scam.

In fact, most of these negative reviews mention not getting any money at all. Even the ones who recruited a LOT as an associate tells this.

What’s worse is the number of positive reviews that are obviously fake. These reviews not only paint BitLocity in a good light they don’t deserve, but they also made disparaging comments towards those who left negative reviews.

Except for the vague and mostly unrelated content, these fake AF reviews mention at least one of the following arguments:

  • There are problems during pre-launch of BitLocity, but they’re fixed already.
  • The negative reviews are from BitLocity competitors.
  • The negative reviews are mostly from anonymous reviewers, so don’t trust them.
  • The BitLocity MLM platform allows them to “earn while you learn” in crypto space.

The third argument is not really true as most reviewers have displayed their complete name. The ones hiding behind anonymity is reasonable too since an associate contract prohibits negative reviews.

Misleading and/or Incomplete Information

As written in their policies and procedures, commitment is a must to gain financial success with BitLocity MLM. An associate must never suggest to their prospects that all they have to do is join.

However, they seem to be not following this at all. The reviews mentioning a promise of earning without recruiting says otherwise.

To add, it’s a red flag for me when a company is not transparent about who is running it. If you ask me, I’ll recommend avoiding such biz like BitLocity MLM for this reason alone.

No Refunds

Every product offered by BitLocity MLM doesn’t have any refunds. It’s expected since you’re transacting with Bitcoin, but still it’s not an ideal setup.

If there’s one, they can easily deny payment too since there’s no bank to dispute your refund claims.

Shady Creator/Promoter

Despite having the talent to present, Mark still participated in multiple scams. In addition to Qtrex, he’s also directly involved in WeShare Crowdfunding and Forsage.

Both programs are solely dependent on recruitment to earn. Basically, both are pyramid scheme.

Even the ones posted in his Facebook is likely a crypto investment fraud. As a rule of thumb, beware of transacting with businesses promoted by shady individuals like Mark.

BitLocity MLM Token is likely a Shitcoin

BitLocity recently announced that they’re launching their own crypto token. Majority of reviews, however, are saying that it’s just another shitcoin and a signal of an exit scam.

FYI, the term shitcoin refers to a crypto token with little to no value or utility. It’s the type of token getting pump-and-dump every time.

Subpar Training Content

All the topics I listed earlier are something you can find online for free. Paying at least $19,700 to access all the training  is definitely NOT worth it.

I wouldn’t call it an actual training worthy of selling. To be honest, it’s just an expensive excuse to have something to sell in BitLocity MLM.

Otherwise, BitLocity will be an obvious pyramid scheme. The said scheme is illegal in most parts of the world, including US.

BitLocity MLM as Multi-Level Marketing Biz

As someone who reviewed hundreds of courses including MLMs, I’ll advise to not touch any of them with a ten-foot pole.

Most of them are just a pyramid scheme in disguise. It’ll eventually collapse as the recruitment slows down to a halt.

With all the things I mentioned before, it’s very likely that BitLocity MLM is just a pyramid scheme in disguise.

If you want to make money online, check out this business model that has helped 6,000+ people.

My Favorite Program

  • Almost 99% participants of all multi-level marketing companies lose money, according to the FTC.
  • There are 38% more chances of you profiting from your own small business than joining these MLMs.
  • Success rate of any online business, which will give you financial and time freedom, is 20% more than joining MLMs for making money.
  • According to the AARP foundation, 47% distributors of all MLMs lose their money. Apart from this, 27% don’t make a single penny.
  • In the remaining 26% that make money, 53% of them make less than $5000/year.
  • 39% of those 53%, who are making $5000/year, quit because recruiting and selling crappy products to friends and family members jeopardized their relationships.
  • Forget about building a long-term business with MLMs, because 50% of all MLMs participants quit within one year.
  • 75% people that joined MLMs say that they will never again join any kind of MLM.

Final Verdict – BitLocity MLM

To conclude, I don’t recommend joining BitLocity MLM. Based on the data I gathered, it’s very likely that it’s just a crypto investment scam/pyramid scheme.

In fact, it checked a lot of red flags listed in SEC’s fraud report. Such is a published article warning investors of scams involving virtual currencies.

Specifically, the red flags mentioned in the report which BitLocity has are the following: High investment return with little to no risk, overly consistent returns, and secretive and/or complex strategies and fee structure.

I also don’t recommend any biz related to crypto, in general. If you really want to, you should consider crypto trading rather than joining a crypto based MLM.
