Digital Storefronts is an online video course that aims to teach users how they can build their own online business.
This time, the business model they’re going to teach you is all about lead generation.
How this works is quite simple in theory. You build a website, collect leads from your visitors, and then sell your services to local businesses owners that are looking for more customers.
How do you collect your leads can vary. But in this course, you’re going to be taught how to use local SEO on your “digital storefront”, AKA your own website, for this purpose.
This is a lucrative business opportunity because, with this skill, you’ll certainly be in demand by many business owners. Most especially, the smaller, more local ones.
Because most business owners don’t really know how to market themselves properly. And even if they do, they simply won’t have time to prepare the needed marketing campaign, but they’ll be focusing more on running their business instead.
But arguably the most important factor for this is that local business will need a wider marketing coverage in order to attract even more customers. Something that you, as a lead generation specialist, can provide.
However, there’s a good reason why 61% of marketers point out that lead generation is one of their biggest challenges. And that’s because, SEO is technically like going to war.
You’re going to have to compete with other lead generation businesses that use the same method. This is for getting that sweet No. 1 spot on the relevant keyword.

The Digital Storefronts online course is created by Cory Long.

He’s a businessman who already learned the ropes of running a small business since he was 7 years old. He also has 20 years’ worth of digital marketing experience under his belt.
Prior to being a successful online entrepreneur, he has worked with several companies that have made it to the Fortune 500 list. He has also been an advisor to more than 400 companies since 2005.
More importantly, he’s also a minister at his local church. He claims that, thanks to this business model, he only works for three to four hours a day, and now spends the rest of his time with his family, and religious work.
There was actually a noteworthy incident about him before, which may constitute a red flag for some.
In the past, he once tried to solicit his own lead generation course inside the Facebook group of another, competing lead generation course. Owing to this incident, he was banned from that group.
But ever since then, he has been promoting Digital Storefronts using his own, legal methods. It might not be a factor in your decision to enroll in this course, but it’s something that you may need to know.
Digital Storefronts: Course Breakdown
To start off, here’s what the member’s area of the Digital Storefronts online course looks like.

It consists of a total of 6 main educational modules (not counting the introduction), plus a seventh bonus module.
Aside from these inclusions, you’ll also be able to get access to a private Facebook group, wherein you’ll meet and interact with other members of the program. You may even get a live training session from the author himself there.
Finally, also have access to the Digital Storefronts product store, where you can purchase some extra “done-for-you” services to save yourself a lot of time. These include a full DFY lead generation website, a paid ad campaign optimized for you, and others.
Introduction and Success Road Map
As with any other online course about money-making, this part gives you a brief introduction to what you can learn from this online course. As well as its aim for you.
This part also gives you motivational words to give you a morale boost when you start this business, the importance of hard work, and the potential challenges that you’ll encounter with this business (as well as how to overcome them).
The author will also say here that you’ll need a few hours of work in order to manage a business like this. And once you’re already well-established, it would be second nature for you at that point.
MODULE 1: Finding The Perfect Location
This is also known as “finding your own niche”.In this module, you’ll learn the factors that you should pay attention to in finding a profitable industry to find clients on for your lead generation business.
The two things that this module will tell you to consider when finding your preferred industry are…
- The industry in question should be able to pay you reasonably for the cost of the leads you give them. There are several industries that actually earn a lot more from their sales and revenue when they get their leads from you, so they should be able to pay you handsomely for that.
- The niche you specialize in must be in demand in a certain area. Obviously, without any demand from that niche, you can’t get any leads to your website. Which, of course, translates to no money earned from both you and your client.
MODULE 2: Creating Digital Storefront
This module now focuses on creating your own “digital storefronts” (AKA websites) and creating content for it. Of course, you’ll be needing your own website to start gathering leads for your client.
The websites creation training provided by this course involves using WordPress. You’ll be taught here not only how to create your website using WordPress, but also suggest themes that convert well, and other stuff you’ll need to know about.
Notice that I said “websites”. Well, the idea is that when you’re going to scale your lead generation business, you have to create multiple websites eventually. That’s one for each client you land.
It may be time-consuming and a hassle because of the nature of WordPress. But once you get used to it, you’ll be able to do it much faster, and it’ll be like second nature to you.
MODULE 3: Getting Ranked
This module will teach you the methods on how you can get free traffic to your lead generation websites. Using various SEO methods.
The various strategies that this course would teach you may vary. But it does involve the usual content creation, backlinking, ranking on Google Maps (arguably the most important part on local lead generation), etc.
As the focus of this course is localized lead generation, you may find that it’s much easier to rank for localized keywords instead of global ones.
For example, you’ll find it almost impossible to rank on keywords like “Animal Clinics”, but you CAN have a chance at ranking high when you use localized keywords like “Animal Clinics in Philadelphia”.
Still, as my own mentor would say, “SEO is war“. Thus, you should still take note that you’ll be doing plenty of hard work everyday to keep your rankings high on that keyword.
MODULE 4: Quick Lead Methods
Aside from getting free traffic through SEO, the Digital Storefronts course also teaches users how they can leverage paid ads to get more leads at an even faster pace.
The module covers both types of paid ads that are usually used: Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
While these paid ad campaigns can cost quite a bit of money, they’re usually more effective at getting leads at a faster rate. Still, if not carefully managed, you can lose the budget that you spent on paid ads here.
For this reason, it’s highly recommended that you practice your free traffic methods on lead generation. And once you generated enough earnings from your clients and want to scale, then you can start spending on paid ads for even more leads.

MODULE 5: Finding And Closing Deals
Unlike other lead generation courses that talk about finding a prospective client and landing a deal with them in two separate modules, Digital Storefronts merges them both into one module.
Whether this means that the training you get from this module is not quite as comprehensive as the others, is still left up for debate. But the strategies that you can learn from this module are still effective enough at what they do.
MODULE 6: Tenant Attraction System
This is technically a continuation of the previous module, in that it talks about how you can land a client to avail of your lead generation services.
Basically, the Tenant Attraction System is a system that you can copy to effectively strike a deal with your client. It’s not clearly explained how this works, but others state that it’s this system that sets it apart from other lead generation courses.
Oh, and the “tenants” mentioned here refer to your clients. Because basically, they’ll be “renting” your websites for your leads.
(But see this review on why I don’t really recommend this type of lead generation business model.)
How Much Does The Digital Storefronts Course Cost?
To join the Digital Storefronts online course, you’ll need to shell out around $5,000.
Additionally, you can also purchase some done-for-you services that claim to save you time. Here’s the pricelist on some of them.
- Optimized Lead Gen Site – $500
- Custom Dashboard – $450
- Basic Social Media Setup – $200
Admittedly, the course is very expensive. Even more expensive than the other lead generation courses that offer the same value (or even better).
And you’ll also need to keep in mind the costs that you need to spend when you’re going down this business model. Especially the hosting for your WordPress sites, the budget needed for paid ads, as well as the other tools you may need (autoresponders, etc.)

Things I Like About Digital Storefronts
The course itself is effective. It really teaches you almost everything that you need to build a lead generation business.
The business model in question is one of the more lucrative ideas out there to start making money online. With this service, you’ll be able to cater to the demands of some local businesses, who needed to market themselves to get more customers, but don’t have the knowledge or time to set up their own marketing campaign.
But more importantly, it’s also scalable. So you can treat it as a side hustle, or you can invest in this business and go full time.
Things I Don’t Like About Digital Storefronts
At $5,000, it’s probably one of the more expensive lead generation courses out there. Therefore, not many people will be able to engage in this business opportunity.
Frankly, I don’t really mind the high price, IF the course gives value to its users. Which, as you may have guessed it, this course doesn’t do at all.
Because here’s the thing. The course itself is actually a rehash of a certain lead generation course that Cory Long joined years ago. And in turn, that course in question is also another rehash of an even older lead generation course.
This means, this doesn’t bring anything new to the table. In fact, you may even enroll in a cheaper online course than this, and you may even be able to get the same quality of training as this course, sometimes even better.
And My Verdict Is…
Digital Storefronts is actually a good lead generation course overall. And Cory Long certainly isn’t a scammer, as the things that you can learn from this course are all legitimate.
If you want to join his course and don’t mind the price point, then, by all means, feel free. However, I personally don’t recommend it.
As this is technically a rehash of some of the things the author personally learned in the previous lead generation courses that he learned (and some of them are still active today), you won’t really learn anything that will set you apart from the rest.
Furthermore, there may even be other lead generation courses that offer the same training value as this course, yet are much cheaper than this. And for the same price that Digital Storefronts as, you may even get a lead generation course with better value.
Digital Storefronts Review: Final Thoughts

To close off this Digital Storefronts review, I would like to give out some points regarding this course.
Whatever online business you want to set up, you would inevitably face some tough competition.
Therefore, what you need are some good educational materials first to give you the necessary knowledge, skills, and especially the proper mindset to hopefully succeed in any business venture.
Moreover, you need to get your money’s worth with that online course. Seeing as it’s also going to be part of your investment.
The scenario that Cory Long did for his Digital Storefronts online course, is surprisingly nothing new. There are plenty of cases wherein some students leave their financial gurus and create their own money-making online course.
But in reality, they’re just rehashes of the same system that they previously learned from another guru. Some of them may have the potential to be better, but most of them only follow the same formula that they learned previously.
It’s for this reason that I can’t recommend Digital Storefronts completely. This may have a bit of value for others, but for most people, there isn’t.
