Coseva MLM Review: Should You Join This MLM?

Today we will be reviewing a company called Coseva. Is Coseva a scam? Find out in this Coseva MLM Review.

You are probably stuck at home right now. Seems like you have also lost hope that this current global situation will be resolved soon. Here you are, trying to make do of your current job, but at the same time, you are thinking of getting another source of income in order to start saving money.

To be honest, I could not blame you though if you find it difficult to save money nowadays. The prices of commodities keep increasing, while your wage stays the same. I am pretty sure that even your employer is trying to cut costs as much as they could.

You were delighted when you received a message from someone advertising an opportunity to make money. Of course, since this is exactly what you were looking for, you decided to entertain their pitch. They left a lot of your questions unanswered though, so you decided to look around the internet for answers.

That is how you found this review, right? Well, I suggest that you grab some snacks as you are in for quite a ride on this one.

Before we go further in this Coseva MLM review, I will define two terms first: MLM and pyramid scheme.

MLM members make money by selling products and recruiting new members. In pyramid schemes, members could only make money by recruiting people. Pyramid schemes are illegal and banned by the FTC.

As a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with Coseva in any way.

Hopefully this Coseva MLM review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

What is Coseva?

Coseva MLM Review - Coseva intro

Coseva is a multi-level marketing company in the health and wellness niche. The focus of their products is removing toxins from the body. The current CEO is Rob Gulbrandsen, who used to work for real estate. Product development and research is being handled by Dr. Agnes Ostafin, a nano-chemist.

I was not able to find much information about Coseva online, but what I found is that the company began conducting business in 2014. The company is currently based in Utah, United States.

This video can tell you more about the company.

Coseva Products

Coseva MLM Review - Coseva products

At the moment, Coseva only sells one product, called Advanced TRS.

TRS is an acronym that means Toxic Removal System. According to their website, Advanced TRS is a product designed to detoxify the user’s body from heavy metals. The formulation is made of 100% pure nano-zeolite (clinoptilolite) and has no preservatives. The product comes in a 28 mL bottle.

You use the product by spraying it in your mouth a few times a day.

Advanced TRS is made in the USA and currently costs $95 in retail, with a wholesale price of $68.

How Do MLMs Work?

This section is dedicated to discussing the inner workings of an MLM. Of course, I was not part of an MLM before, so what I would be telling you are the results of my research. I also have experiences with hunbots in the past, so I think what I know is enough to be shared with you.

What I find fascinating about MLMs is that the lengths they go through just so they can get away with something. MLMs do not even want to be called MLMs, to be honest, as this often carries a negative connotation, to say the least. This is because MLMs are often likened to pyramid schemes because of how eerily similar their business model is.

Hunbots are also instructed by their upline to not reveal a lot to the people they are recruiting. Of course, what they want is guarantee that people will join. They would not want to do anything to jeopardize that, which is why they resort to a lot of lying and manipulation.

First off, they would not even tell you what you need to do in order to start earning money. You also have to pay a start-up fee before you can even start selling the products that they claim to be “unique” and “revolutionary”.

They give you all these promises in the way that you want to hear them. Promises include being able to be your own boss, having the time you need to go on a vacation and work on your hobbies, and the worst one is that they say that joining an MLM could earn you more money than your current job.

Do not fall for any of these.

Is Coseva a Pyramid Scheme?

Since Coseva members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that Coseva is not a pyramid scheme.

However, since Coseva is still an MLM, do not expect to make money if you have no plans on recruiting people. Recruiting will earn you significantly more money than actual product selling, and is more encouraged.

This just makes Coseva look like a pyramid scheme in disguise, doesn’t it?

Like Gano Excel, Dynamaxx, and BellaHoot, Coseva is not a pyramid scheme.

Is Coseva a Scam?

No, Coseva is not a scam.

However, if you think this is enough for you to jump in Coseva’s so-called opportunity straight away, then I suggest that you hold your horses. This is just the most basic thing, so don’t go signing up for this company right away.

Before making your decision, I suggest that you do a thorough research on the MLM first. You can consult some of the sources I listed below. Take note that you can definitely consult any source you want to, but the sources I listed below are the best kinds to consult, for various reasons listed.

What Sources Should You Look For?

There are three kinds of sources that you can consult when it comes to researching MLMs. There are other kinds of sources, but I believe that these two sources will be of the most help to you.

Having to look around the internet can be pretty exhausting, especially when you do not know which resources are credible. Of course, you want to look for the source that could shed light to the matter at hand (MLMs, on this case), so you would have to scour through a lot of propaganda that was intentionally spread by said companies.

To be fair, you actually found the best source to consult already. This Coseva MLM review, along with the other reviews in this website, are called third-party reviews. From the name itself, these reviews are made by entities which have no affiliation or connection to any MLM company.

This gives them the freedom to publish anything they want, as long as the can prove that it is true. Because of this, MLMs cannot silence them easily, especially because they are backed by credible sources like large media outlets and investigative journalists.

Third-party reviews, however, cannot really tell you everything. You may have some concerns which they answer, including personal questions to people who have been part of particular MLMs before. This is when you would have to consult another source. For instances like this, I recommend online forums.

Online forums are also good sources of information because the posts in there get update everyday. Moderation is also pretty strict, so unnecessary posts are being deleted regularly.

You can find that some people who are members of these forums used to be part of MLMs themselves. They have valuable insights and firsthand experiences, so I suggest reaching out to them.

How to Make Money from Coseva

Since Coseva is an MLM, there are only two ways to make money with the company. and these are:

  • Selling products
  • Recruiting members

Before you can even start making money in Coseva, you need to pay a fee. This comes with training materials and sample products which you can showcase in your pitches. You are also entitled to discounted prices once you sign up. You can then sell those for retail prices, which will earn you a fairly decent profit.

On the other hand, you can also look for people who will be willing to join the company, much like how that hunbot contacted you. This is the recommended method if you want to succeed in this company, as you will be earning money from the sales that your team makes.

Remember that the MLM business model is not sustainable, so as time goes by, you will run out of people to recruit.

MLMs do not really care about how many products you sell. What they care about is how many you buy and how many people you can bring in.

How Much Can You Earn?

Here we are again with a company that attempts to claim that members’ success rates are decent, when in reality, they are just a typical MLM that thinks that they are fooling everyone. Also, just like what I expected, Coseva does not publish an income disclosure.

What these companies cannot seem to grasp is that their future is actually in the hands of the people that they are being dishonest to. Not only that, but it also seems like companies like these know exactly what they are doing; they know that it is wrong to not be transparent to their members, but they still refuse to change their ways.

Majority of the income of these companies come from these members which they are being dishonest to. Basically, they are being unfair towards them. What they do is they keep their members in the dark about their potential earnings, so instead of quitting when they are already losing money, members still continue to spend.

That is predatory and unacceptable. They are intentionally fooling these people who only want to feed their families. It is despicable, which is why I would not recommend MLMs to anyone.

Things I Like in Coseva

Science-Based Products

What I like about Coseva is that their products have scientific backing to them. This is a good sales point as well, as people are more likely to buy something that has scientific backing attached to it.

I guess this means that Coseva’s products work, but there are some problems with the company…

Things I Dislike in Coseva

Not FDA-Approved

The FDA has not yet given its seal of approval to Coseva. Sure, you can say that your product is based on actual scientific findings, but if that is the case, shouldn’t it be easy for the FDA to approve it?

I am not sure if people would be too keen with buying products that are not FDA-approved. This applies especially to products you have to put in your body like this one.

Limited Product Selection

Well, even though they can brag about their one and only product, the company still lacks variety in terms of what they sell. This is not good, considering that this product does not really address everyone’s needs.

You cannot really force people to buy a product that they do not need. This makes it a challenge to sell this particular product and MLM opportunity to people.

It is an MLM

This is an MLM, so it means that a lot of people definitely failed in this venture. In fact, 99% of people who join MLMs fail to make money, and they do not even earn back their initial investment.

Coseva Compensation Plan

Coseva’s compensation plan is available for viewing through this link.

The ways to earn money in Coseva are as follows:

  • Retail Bonus. This is the difference between the retail price and the wholesale price. You can earn this per sale,
  • Customer Bonus. You can earn this commission from the sale made by the member you recruited. It gives you 15% commission.
  • Unilevel Bonus. Depending on your rank, you earn 2% to 5% commission from the sales made by your team, depending on the level.
