Drone Launch Academy Review – David Young Scam?

Today we will be reviewing a program known as Drone Launch Academy. Is it legit? Find out in this Drone Launch Academy review.

Who knew that you can make money by flying drones? Well, I didn’t know that either. After all, I am used only to conventional money making methods, such as freelancing, establishing your own business, or working a full-time job.

That is why I am quite surprised when I found this program. I thought that flying drones is merely a niche hobby, which is why I do not really pay attention to it so much.

Of course, drones can be quite useful. They are not just used to take pictures or videos from unique angles, but they are actually good for surveillance and other useful purposes.

This program will teach you all about flying a drone. The question is, can you really learn from this program?

Before you decide to sign up for this program, you should read this Drone Launch Academy review first.

What is Drone Launch Academy?

Drone Launch Academy Review - Logo

Originally, there was just one course available through Drone Launch Academy to help students prepare for the FAA Part 107 exam. When it started making money, David Young, the founder, realized that he could finally leave his day job.

It was common for people to seek guidance after receiving their Part 107 license. This paved the way for more in-depth courses, which David decided to offer later on.

Over 20,000 people have signed up for at least one of their classes. When it comes to starting a business, some people are just looking for something fun and different to do on the side.

Some people are interested in doing it as a side hustle, while others hope to make it their full-time occupation and earn monthly incomes in the tens of thousands.

Drone Launch Academy has collected so much information that they have pinpointed the five factors that set apart the best from the rest.

To begin, thriving drone companies don’t need to rely on drone job aggregator sites to bring in customers. Two, by publishing their material in strategic internet locations, they draw customers to their website. Third, by specializing, they improve their services, attract more clients, and increase their revenue. Fourth, by enlightening their potential clients, they increase their goodwill, trust, and motivation to cooperate with them. Fifthly, they won’t give up easily.

Who is David Young?

Drone Launch Academy Review - David Young

When David Young saw a need for a training program for piloting drones, he created Drone Launch Academy. He had always seen himself as a business jet pilot.

While in his first year of college, he enrolled in flight school and began his career as a pilot, only to find that the job was more difficult than he had anticipated. He realized that he was doomed to fail.

Because of this and after convincing himself that it is the right choice, he changed his focus to finance. He then completed the requirements for the Certified Public Accountant exam.

He got hired eventually, and spent eight years doing math crunching for the FBI. There, he connected with a fellow who shared his enthusiasm for industrial drones. That is when he realized that there was a gap in the market, and he decided that there is a need for a training program about them.

Drone Launch Academy Overview

Like I said previously, this program was intended originally only for the FAA Part 107 exam. Let us look into that course.

This program is similar to Full Time Filmmaker, Seven Figure Formula, and Digital Doctor.

FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Exam Prep Course

They claim that impressive 99.54% of their students pass the exam successfully through the help of their course.

There are over 20,000 students that have used their services to successfully complete the FAA Remote Pilot Exam. I guess that means that the training they provide is quite good for those looking for a program to help them out with said exam.

They even have issue a pass guarantee, meaning that if you fail the exam, they will refund your payment in full.

The course includes the following:

  • HD Video Lectures. This is done so that you can access it on any device, both for PC and smartphones. This means that you can get the knowledge you need even though you are on the go.
  • Over 200 Practice Questions. These practice questions include actual questions being asked in the FAA Part 107 exam.
  • 75+ Page Downloadable E-Book Study Guide. This is pretty much a downloadable e-book which can teach you the course effectively.

The course costs $199, which is quite cheap for something that guarantees you pass an exam such as the FAA Part 107.

The FAA’s Part 107 regulations are the guidelines that must be followed in order for a person to legally use a drone for commercial purposes.

What is a Remote Pilot Certificate? Why do you need one? How do you get it? What do you do with it once you get it?

The paperwork that will provide you permission to use your drone for business reasons is called a remote pilot certificate, and if you attempt to use your drone for commercial purposes without having one, you might be subject to significant fines.
