Elevacity Review: Another Coffee MLM Scam?

Elevacity Review: Another Coffee MLM Scam?

Today we will be reviewing a company called Elevacity. Is Elevacity a scam? Find out in this Elevacity Review.

Let’s talk about how you managed to find this Elevacity review. You would not be here in the first place if you were not approached by a hunbot that faithful day. I am sure that whatever they told you made you curious, which you brought you here today.

“You can be your own boss.” This sounds familiar, doesn’t it? I am sure that the hunbot who reached out to you mentioned these words, and of course, any person will be tempted.

I mean, who would not be happy with a job opportunity where you get paid higher than your current corporate job? Other than that, you also get to choose your own hours, so you can finally go to all those vacations you cannot find time for previously.

They say that all good things come with a catch, and well, the catch here is a lot more than you think.

However, let me save you from the major hassle that is about to take over your life. Before you make a major decision just like that, I suggest that you read this Elevacity review up until the end.

Before we go further in this Elevacity review, I will define two terms first: MLM and pyramid scheme.

MLM members make money by selling products and recruiting new members. In pyramid schemes, members could only make money by recruiting people. Pyramid schemes are illegal and banned by the FTC.

As a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with Elevacity in any way.

Hopefully this Elevacity review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

What is Elevacity?

Elevacity Intro

Elevacity is a multi-level marketing company that sells coffee and health products. The company was founded by Robert Oblon in 2014. Elevacity’s flagship product is Happy Coffee. Elevacity claims that the coffee’s formulation will definitely give one happiness.

They did this by adding a special formula to caffeine. They have added serotonin, oxytocin, dopamine, and endorphins. At least this is backed by science though, as these 4 are called “happy hormones”. These hormones help people regulate their mood and emotions.

How Do MLMs Work?

Welcome to section dedicated to an in-depth discussion about MLMs in general. In this section, we pause from talking about the current MLM we are reviewing (Elevacity, in this case) to talk about MLMs. Well, I guess that is quite vague, but I can assure you that this section’s goal is to help you out with making decisions.

After reviewing hundreds of MLM, I have come to a realization that these companies are all pretty much the same. To be honest, it is pretty astounding how they were able to get away with this business practice for so long. Every company shares the same motto, the same success stories, the same everything. However, it works.

The fact that they continue to con people with this so-called opportunity is just terrible. However, people continue to believe them. I am not going to blame these people for that, because these MLMs simply knew what to say in order to lure them in. They were trained to do that.

MLMs are also known to practice cult-like tactics in order to keep the members they have in check. They have these weird policies where it is compulsory for members to recruit friends and family to the MLM, for “camaraderie”. MLMs are also known for referring to their members as “one big happy family”.

They even have the audacity to tell their members to “fully dedicate themselves” by quitting their stable jobs. And for what? For pay that would not even come until you are able to sell something?

If you are thinking that they could not possible get worse, then oh boy, you are in for a ride. I merely scratched the surface here, so I suggest you continue reading.

Is Elevacity a Pyramid Scheme?

Since Elevacity members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that Elevacity is not a pyramid scheme.

However, since Elevacity is still an MLM, do not expect to make money if you have no plans on recruiting people. Recruiting will earn you significantly more money than actual product selling, and is more encouraged.

This just makes Elevacity look like a pyramid scheme in disguise, doesn’t it?

Pyramid scheme vs Multi-level marketing

Like Enagic, Flamingo Paperie, and Tocara, Elevacity is not a pyramid scheme.

Is Elevacity a Scam?

No, Elevacity is not a scam.

However, if you think this is enough for you to jump in Elevacity’s so-called opportunity straight away, then I suggest that you hold your horses. This is just the most basic thing, so don’t go signing up for this company right away.

Before making your decision, I suggest that you do a thorough research on the MLM first. You can consult some of the sources I listed below. Take note that you can definitely consult any source you want to, but the sources I listed below are the best kinds to consult, for various reasons listed.

What Sources Should You Look For?

There are three kinds of sources that you can consult when it comes to researching MLMs. There are other kinds of sources, but I believe that these two sources will be of the most help to you.

You must be wondering what the best source you can consult is. Well, it is staring you right in the face. You read that right, this Elevacity review is the best source online. Well, this review is an example of a third-party review. Basically, third-party reviews are published by those who are not in any way affiliated with MLMs.

What this means is that the reviews they publish are free from any biases. They can also publish information that will hurt the company’s reputation, as long as it is the truth. Those who publish third-party reviews conduct thorough research and fact-checking, which means that they will only publish facts that are verified by reputable sources.

Another source worth looking at are online forums. These forums are more of dedicated databases for MLM information. To be honest, I was able to learn about MLMs by lurking in these forums, and by reading responses from people who had first-hand experience with being MLM members.

Forums are the best place to look at if you have specific concerns regarding MLMs. Reviews could only tackle general concerns, so I suggest you go to forums if you have any inquiries whatsoever. They are more than willing to answer your questions, as their goal is to educate people about MLMs.

How to Make Money from Elevacity

Since Elevacity is an MLM, there are only two ways to make money with the company. and these are:

  1. Selling products
  2. Recruiting members

I am sure that you already know this, as the hunbot you talked to at least explained this to you. However, I know that you are a little confused about the recruiting aspect, considering that all you are interested in is the selling aspect.

The bread and butter of all MLMs is the recruiting aspect. It is more encouraged than actual product selling, which actually defeats the purpose of having products in the first place. Also, you can earn significantly more by recruiting.

To be honest, I wish it is as easy as they make it sound. They seem so sure that people will want to sign up for an opportunity like this straight away because not everyone conducts research before deciding. Luckily for you, you decided not to take their word right away.

Remember that the MLM business model is not sustainable, so as time goes by, you will run out of people to recruit.

MLMs do not really care about how many products you sell. What they care about is how many you buy and how many people you can bring in.

How Much Can You Earn?

It seems like we found another one, folks. Elevacity may be boasting products that can make you happy, but do they really know what it means to be happy? Earning money.

MLMs are not really obligated to publish income disclosure statements, but shouldn’t they show transparency towards they people working for them for free?

The problem with Elevacity is that they have a promising product line, but they cannot show data to their members. Aren’t their members their business partners? Why can’t they be transparent then?

Well, I guess you already know the answer to that. Elevacity is hiding something from you. They advertise this opportunity as a guaranteed way to success, but the truth is, it is more like a way to get yourself in massive debt.

What they are doing by hiding vital information is making people speculate. Well, that is what we are doing right now. The truth is, you cannot really make money in an MLM. 99.9% of people who join have not seen any earnings.

It is not worth it. They are master liars and manipulators.

Things I Like in Elevacity

Wide Product Selection

It seems like Elevacity’s product line is pretty diverse. They have drinks, supplements, and skin care products. Looks like they have something for everyone.

This is good because you have quite a lot of products to offer to customers. They can try out different things to gauge their preferences. That is good because you can offer them products that would surely suit their needs.

Things I Dislike in Elevacity

Product Warnings

Well, as much as how they advertise their products as something that will definitely make you happy, it seems like their products have side effects ranging from nausea, headaches, and stomachaches. I guess this is because of the caffeine.

There are warnings about their products too, as using them while on medication can lead to negative side effects. Because of the formulation, Elevacity’s products might also affect your mood and brain functions negatively. Yikes.

Customer Complaints

This is inevitable, because every person has different bodies and preferences. However, it seems like there are more negative reviews than positive ones from people who have tried Elevacity’s products.

Customers are claiming that they feel ripped off, and that their products do not work. They are also not accredited by the Better Business Bureau because of the numerous complaints.

It is an MLM

This is an MLM, so it means that a lot of people definitely failed in this venture. In fact, 99% of people who join MLMs fail to make money, and they do not even earn back their initial investment.

Elevacity Compensation Plan

This company has one of the most complicated compensation plans I ever looked into. I am afraid of possibly misinforming you about this, so I suggest that you watch this video instead.

Final Verdict – Elevacity

Before I end this Elevacity review, I would like to share a few more insights that could help you.

I am glad that you found this Elevacity review, and that you continued reading up to this point. I hope that I was able to provide you with answers to your questions. Before you go, I have a few more tips to share.

You may be wondering why MLMs are still in business regardless of how many people complained and reported them. Well, I am not surprised, because they seem to know how to talk themselves out of any situation.

MLMs claim that they are not pyramid schemes because they sell products. However, why is the recruiting aspect a lot more encouraged than selling? Shouldn’t it be the other way around?

That aside, they also tend to downplay the money that people earn from corporate jobs. Sure, corporate jobs can be pretty exhausting, but at least you get a stable income. You get paid weekly or in every two weeks. In an MLM, they do not even pay you for your efforts. Are you sure that you can live like that?

You only get paid if you manage to sell some products. Well, you cannot really expect to make sales everyday, especially if you are still quite new to the company. Would you really want to quit your job for this?

I suggest that you don’t. However, I have a recommendation that is way better than an MLM. It is waiting for you in the next section, so make sure that you read it.

That’s it for my Elevacity review. Hopefully this Elevacity review helps with your decision.
