Today we will be reviewing a company called FM World. Is FM World a pyramid scheme or scam? Find out in this FM World MLM review.
If you haven’t heard about this company before, then worry not, as you are included in the majority of the population who didn’t know they exist either. MLMs are pretty obscure since they do not do any advertising on their own. Their members are ones doing this job for them.
MLMs continue to thrive because they save quite a lot of money on advertising costs. Even if this is the case, the members who do the advertising for them are not compensated for that job. Sounds unfair, doesn’t it?
That’s just the tip of the iceberg on what’s to come as we talk about FM World in this FM World MLM review today. If you are tempted to join FM World, then by all means, you have to read this first to gain understanding about FM World’s methods.
You are most likely contacted by a hunbot of FM World which prompted you to research about the company. You are in luck today.
Before we go further in this FM World MLM review, I will define two terms first: MLM and pyramid scheme.
MLM members make money by selling products and recruiting new members. In pyramid schemes, members could only make money by recruiting people. Pyramid schemes are illegal and banned by the FTC.
As a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with FM World in any way.
Hopefully this FM World MLM review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

What is FM World?
FM World is a multi-level marketing company that sells cosmetics, fragrance, and body care products. It claims to be the “best MLM company in the world”.

Yeah, I am not sure if that declamation does them any favors.
Arthur Trawiński launced the company in 2004 with the name “FM Group”. He started it to sell the perfumes made by his father by using the network marketing model.
In 2007, FM Group expanded their business internationally, and decided to rebrand themselves as “FM World.” The company has been operating in 50+ countries since then. FM World has been generating more than $100 million in revenue every year.
How Do MLMs Work?
Welcome to the section where I explain to you some basics about how MLMs operate, why a lot of people hate them, and why I think you should not join one.
It doesn’t come as a surprise to me anymore when someone tells me that they have encountered a hunbot in social media before. Even I come into contact with some people I used to know (some I don’t even know at all) who try to sell me MLM products and recruit me to their downline.
I found a solution to that though. I made all my social media accounts private so strangers’ messages would not show up in my inbox and would go straight to spam. That way, I am keeping my inbox free from MLM shenanigans.
It doesn’t seem like these hunbots are willing to back down, no matter what social media network you use. I see them everywhere. Good thing that TikTok has actually banned MLM content from their platform. That is one step closer to eliminating MLMs from social networking sites.
Anyway, why do people still fall for MLMs?
From my understanding, all MLMs have a buy-in fee, meaning that you have to pay first before you are allowed in. To make this offer enticing, MLMs include your first inventory and their so-called “training materials”. Once they have already earned money by getting it from you, they don’t care what you do with the stuff they gave you anymore.
Other than this, it isn’t like your upline is willing to help you out, either. They only want you to keep spending money since they get a cut from it.
MLMs are a big waste of time and money.
Is FM World a Pyramid Scheme?
Since FM World members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that FM World is not a pyramid scheme.
However, since FM World is an MLM, you should not expect to make a lot of money like what they advertise if you do not plan to recruit a lot of people. Recruiting will earn you more money than selling products, which is why it is encouraged if you are after passive income.
This just makes FM World look like a pyramid scheme in disguise, doesn’t it?

Like Peach, Ruby Ribbon, and J.Hilburn, FM World is not a pyramid scheme.
Is FM World a Scam?
No, FM World is not a scam.
However, I recommend watching videos like this to gain an insight as to how the company works.
When researching MLMs, I suggest looking for third-party sources. These sources are in no way connected to the MLM companies so you need not worry about the content you are getting. Third-party sources include reviews like this one.
Another good source of information to look for are forums that discuss MLMs. There are a lot of those in social networking sites, and you can freely interact with the other members as well. Forums are being updated everyday so you can be assured that you only get the most recent information from them.
You can also look for ex-member testimonies, as these are from people who actually experiencing working with the company. From these testimonies, you can tell how the companies operate and how they treat their members.
How to Make Money from FM World
Since FM World is an MLM, there are only two ways to make money with the company. and these are:
- Selling products
- Recruiting members
You can also earn money by receiving bonuses and benefits, but being able to qualify for them requires a lot of work and effort.
Recruiting is emphasized because this is the main factor that comes into play if you want those bonuses. You need to have an active downline who keeps buying products.
This is the only way to get the passive income that MLMs advertise. You get commissions from the amount of products that your downline buys, and you also get commissions from the amount that their downline buys, and so on. The more people under you, the more you earn.
Remember that the MLM business model is not sustainable, so as time goes by, you will run out of people to recruit.
MLMs do not really care about how many products you sell. What they care about is how many you buy and how many people you can bring in.
This is sounding more and more like a pyramid scheme, doesn’t it?
How to Join FM World
You can join FM World by clicking this link. It is a pretty straightforward process too, so I think you would have no problem going through it.
Once you submit your application, you would have to wait for an email from FM World that contains your login credentials. Head to this link to login.

According to this ad on their site, you get 30% discount on all products if you sign up for FM World. I guess that is a pretty good deal if you are only after the products and not the business venture.
Joining FM World is free, surprisingly. You need not shell out hundreds or thousands of dollars just to start your FM World business.
In order to remain active and continue receiving commissions, you would have to buy £10 to £20 worth of FM World products per month.
You would also have to pay for other stuff monthly to assist in your business, which ranges from buying products to use as samples, sales aids, and packaging materials.

Things I Like in FM World
Established Company
It is impressive how a company launched in 2004 is still making a lot of revenue, despite all the competition that have arrived before and after them. FM World is one of the highest-earning MLM companies, which is impressive for an MLM because most of the time, MLMs are pretty obscure.
I guess this means that FM World is being run properly, and is established enough to be trusted.
Free Registration
As I stated before, you can join FM World for free.
Most MLM companies I know of have such an exorbitant joining fee, which turns off potential members to look elsewhere.
In FM World, they let you join without paying a single cent, so you can take your time with it. You need not worry about having to earn back your initial investment, so you can take your time studying how to run your business.
Things I Dislike in FM World
Saturated Market

Let’s face the truth here. There are thousands, or perhaps, even millions of companies out there selling the same stuff that FM World does. With this in mind, you can already see how competitive the market for these products are.
There are also a lot of non-MLM competitors vying for sales, and we all know that people would rather buy from them than from MLMs, which have an infamous reputation.
Also, those non-MLM companies have better marketing, better advertising, and even celebrity endorsements that help them get sales.
With that in mind, why would people still choose to buy from an MLM when they could get the products they need at their local shopping center? Those products are readily available too.
Complicated Compensation Plan
This is one of the signature moves of your typical MLMs. Their goal is to confuse people in order for them to believe that complicated concepts are better than simple ones.
I am not really the type to read long documents just so I can understand a simple concept. Or rather, I doubt anyone is willing to read something that long.
Recruit, Recruit, Recruit
Do you feel tempted to join FM World because it is free? Well, here are some bad news for you.
It seems like this company is as scummy as other MLMs, after all. Their compensation plan emphasizes recruiting and purchasing products for personal use.
Didn’t you join an MLM to start a business? What kind of business requires you to buy your products yourself? That does not make sense.
No Income Disclosure Statement
Despite being in the business for so long, FM World does not release a proper income disclosure statement.
I could only think of two reasons why MLMs do not publish this vital source of information.
First is they are fairly new and do not have enough data to show yet. Second is that the members are not making enough money as what they advertise, which makes publishing an income disclosure statement disadvantageous because potential members who will see it will be turned off by how people do not make any money.
I bet that it is the second one, then.
Then how does this explain why the company makes so much money?
Simple. In MLMs, the main customers are the member themselves. This is why MLMs set quotas in order to keep the cash flowing, with no care whatsoever if people can actually sell the products they buy.
It is an MLM
This is an MLM, so it means that a lot of people definitely failed in this venture. In fact, 99% of people who join MLMs fail to make money, and they do not even earn back their initial investment.
FM World Compensation Plan
The ways to make money with FM World are as follows:
- Retail Commissions
- Marketing Plan 1 – The Magnolia Club
- Effectiveness Bonuses
- Marketing Plan 2 – The Orchid Club
- Marketing Plan 3 – The Star Club
- Incentives
I’d rather not explain this one by one because the document is really long, and I am afraid that I would not be able to give you the correct information.
I suggest watching these videos instead so you can learn more about the compensation plan.

Final Verdict – FM World
Before I end this FM World MLM review, I would like to share a few more insights that could help you.
Most people who join MLMs are doing so just so they could earn extra money. However, if you do thorough research on the nature of MLMs, you can quickly observe that people struggle with it. They end up going in debt and regretting their decision. MLMs thrive on the financial failure of its members.
MLMs also encourage getting your friends and family to join. It’s basically telling you to spread the virus of going in debt to the most precious people in your life. Don’t you think that sounds bad?
Sure, there are people who became successful in their MLM venture, but they did so by ruining the financial lives of others. Can you really live by yourself, thinking that you can only succeed by watching other people fail?
Save yourself from the hassle and look for better opportunities out there. People are already wary of MLMs because of how forceful they are when it comes to selling and recruitment.
That’s it for my FM World MLM review. Hopefully this FM World MLM review helps with your decision.
