Today we will be reviewing a company known as Gearbubble. Is Gearbubble legit? Find out in this Gearbubble review.
It seems like the pandemic situation would not be resolved anytime soon. Our future seems very uncertain, and a few sources even said that we should try to live with COVID instead as it would take time before it gets eradicated.
Your current job has employed the work-from-home mechanic, but to be honest, it is not the same. You find it harder to adjust to your new working environment, as your home isn’t really designed to be an office.
To be honest, that new set-up is a lot more stressful than having to report to an office. It is a lot more difficult to separate your work life from your home life.
Prices of bills and commodities continue to rise, yet your wage stays the same. Because you cannot afford to quit your current job to search for a new one, you decided to look for a side hustle instead.
After all, it seems like people are actually make good money from them.
That is when you found Gearbubble. Since this is your first time hearing of it, you came upon this review.
Before you decide to sign up for this company, you should read this Gearbubble review first. You should check if it is worth the time and money before you commit to it.

What is Gearbubble?

Gearbubble is an eCommerce platform. It can be easily integrated with online stores, like eBay, Etsy, and Amazon. Gearbubble is a print-on-demand service, and basically it fulfills orders for shops who are not handling any inventory.
There are two options available for users:
- Gearbubble Pro. This option gives the user all the features needed to create their own eCommerce site, like shopping cart capabilities. However, using this method requires you to drive traffic to your website in order to get customers. It is resembles the features of Shopify.
- eCommerce Platform Integration. This option is good for those who want to integrate Gearbubble’s functions in their already existing eCommerce sites.
Pricing

Gearbubble is free for anyone to use. You need not pay any registration fees nor other costs if you only plan to avail their basic plan.
To be honest, I would not recommend getting only a basic plan for stuff like this since you should be aiming to stand out against your competition. Of course you want a good-looking and easy to navigate site, right?
You need not only the basic features, which means that it is better if you purchase a plan instead.
Also, making a site from scratch is no easy task. You need to invest your time in designing how your website looks, as an aesthetically pleasing website will attract more customers. Other than that, you also need to choose features which will make the site run more smoothly for you and your customers’ sake.
The two plans actually cost more than what Shopify charges.
- Essential. This is recommended for stores that are still starting out and trying to see what kind of website would work for their demographic. This costs $97 per month. Its features including being able to list 100 products, allowing 5,000 website visitors. and all other Gearbubble features.
- Pro Unlimited. This is recommended for stores that are growing. It costs $297 a month, with the often to list unlimited number of products and allowing unlimited website visitors. Of course, it also includes all Gearbubble features.
Take note that this prices are charged per month, meaning that even if you were not able to make a lot of sales, you are going to be charged.
Inclusions
The following features are included with your purchase:
- Fully set-up eCommerce store. This includes the full set-up of your site, from the designing to the optimization.
- Pre-loaded catalog of products. Your store will already come pre-loaded with products that are guaranteed to sell well.
- On-trend products automatically added. You need not worry about thinking of what products you should be adding when holidays come, as Gearbubble will do that for you.
- Facebook advertising. They will be making Facebook ads for you to target which customers are more likely to buy in your store.
- Premium training. This training include stuff like how to navigate your store and how to market your products.

Is Gearbubble Legit?
It doesn’t look like Gearbubble is a scam, but it has a lot of negative reviews.
The Better Business Bureau gave them an F rating, which does not look good.
Here is a complaint I found in BBB’s page:
“When I first bought the program, there was no indication that I needed to upload products myself. We were shown how to upload, and encouraged to upload, but it was not a requirement. I was under the impression that I didn’t need to upload products to my store, and that Gearbubble would do everything to get me my first sale. Given that from the time I purchased the program, to when I asked for the refund, it has been 90 days without a sale.
Had I known that those were requirements, I would not have bought the Autostore. I wish it was explained in explicit detail what the return policy was. From the looks of things, and reviews, if there wasn’t a sale in 90 days, a double refund would be issued. There was nothing in terms of what was required from me. I’m expecting a refund, given the shady nature of the contract.”
From my understanding, there is a lack of good quality customer support from Gearbubble. They also have a problem with issuing refunds, which is quite unacceptable.
Since they work on the field of eCommerce, shouldn’t their customer service and refund system be a lot more polished?
Because of all these negative reviews and how expensive they are compared to Shopify, people are staying away from it.
Things I Like in Gearbubble
Fully Set-Up Website
Like I said before, setting up your own website from scratch involves a lot of stressful work, especially if you have no experience in web design. In Gearbubble, they will take care of that matter for you.
Advertising is Included
You need not worry about spending extra on ads as Gearbubble will be the one curating ads for you. Other than that, they will also make sure to get the right people’s attention so that they can purchase from your store.
Things I Dislike in Gearbubble
Website Looks Generic
You are probably expecting a quality product, but honestly, I didn’t like how the Gearbubble eCommerce sites look like. It looks so basic and could’ve used a lot more effort.
Expensive Compared to Shopify
It seems like Shopify is the current leading eCommerce platform for online sellers, so I cannot help but compare Gearbubble to it. However, Gearbubble is a lot more expensive, yet fails on a lot of aspects.
Bad Customer Service
I found another Gearbubble review from a frustrated customer.
“I ordered 5 necklaces and never received them requested refund of $152.90. Then I was charged on the 6 December 2020 for 5 necklaces I ordered from this company and received an e-mail saying my ordered had shipped on 11 December 2020 and would arrive on 14 December 2020. On 15 December 2020, I got an email saying my order will be arriving late but it is on its way. Then on 21 December 2020, I e-mailed the company that I had not received the order. They sent me the same tracking number asked to give it a little longer. On 23 December 2020, I contacted them again and was asked to give it to the end of the week. Contacted them after mail ran on the 26 December 2020 that I did not receive the order and asked again for a refund.”
Well, this is quite unacceptable. Gearbubble should have better customer service, since they are an eCommerce platform. It doesn’t make sense why they chose to not prioritize it when their main function is to sell products to customers.

Final Verdict – Gearbubble
Before I end this Gearbubble review, I would like to share a few more insights that could help you.
You might be thinking that opening your own business is very easy, especially since you will be doing it online anyway. Well, it is not.
Actually, it takes a lot of effort to advertise products, as there are already millions of online stores flooding the market. In order to get people to buy your goods, you need to stand out.
To be honest, I don’t think that Gearbubble can help you stand out. Their supposed “fully set-up website” looks generic. People want style and color when they shop around.
Another thing is that you cannot just start a business without knowing what you are getting into. You need skills in management and entrepreneurship.
Anyway, if you want to learn how to make money, I know of a method which is a lot simpler compared to this one. The details can be found on the next section.
