Today we will be reviewing a company called GelMoment. Is GelMoment a scam? Find out in this GelMoment review.
Being able to work on your own hours is quite the dream. I am sure that if you have it your way, you would have left your current job already and start your own business. The main thing that is stopping is how expensive it is to actually start one.
This is what MLMs take advantage of. They target people who want to break free from their jobs in order to pursue their dreams of owning a business. All you need to pay is a few hundred dollars to start, unlike the thousands or even millions needed to start a small business.
That hunbot who got in touch with you didn’t talk to you because you are special, but because they need you. Earning money in an all MLM requires both selling and recruiting, but the latter is more emphasized. This is the main reason why the business model is branded as a pyramid scheme in disguise.
That aside, I think that you will enjoy that tea I will spill in this GelMoment review. Sit back, relax, and grab some snacks as you read.
Before we go further in this GelMoment review, I will define two terms first: MLM and pyramid scheme.
MLM members make money by selling products and recruiting new members. In pyramid schemes, members could only make money by recruiting people. Pyramid schemes are illegal and banned by the FTC.
As a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with GelMoment in any way.
Hopefully this GelMoment review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

What is GelMoment?

GelMoment is a multi-level marketing company that sells nail polish. The main selling point of GelMoment is that their nail polish dries up in 60 seconds.
The company was founded by Dov Grossnass, and is also the current CEO. He was a part of other brands in the past called Mosaic Sales and Belvada. He has also successfully established a school for poor children and an online coupon company. I think this means that Grossnass knows how to run businesses.
You can watch this video to learn more about the company’s products.
How Do MLMs Work?
Welcome to the section where we take a break from discussing GelMoment on focus on MLMs as a whole. Here, we talk about the lies that MLMs love telling people in order to get their hands on their money. We will also be talking about the things they are hiding from members. Basically, this is where we spill the tea.
My opinions regarding MLMs are mostly negative, because I have already researched and reviewed hundreds of them. I know that there are more MLMs out there for me to research on, but so far, my findings were all not good.
I think that MLMs are the worst, and that you should not join one. One of the most used lies of people who are recruiting people to join an MLM is that an MLM pays higher than a regular corporate job. Let’s debunk that lie.
First off, yes, you can earn money from an MLM. The problem with this is that the money you earn is less than enough to be considered as profit. Your time and efforts are not properly compensated. There are also miscellaneous expenses that you need to consider, from your transportation costs, shipping costs, and time you need to do your online selling livestreams.
I do not like how MLMs are being run because they are completely anti-member. Most of the money goes to those who own the company, and those who managed to reach the highest ranks. They have the audacity to tell you to break free from the corporate lifestyle to work for an even worse corporation.
You should ask yourself at this moment if you think that this is still all worth it.
Is GelMoment a Pyramid Scheme?
Since GelMoment members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that GelMoment is not a pyramid scheme.
However, since GelMoment is still an MLM, do not expect to make money if you have no plans on recruiting people. Recruiting will earn you significantly more money than actual product selling, and is more encouraged.
This just makes GelMoment look like a pyramid scheme in disguise, doesn’t it?

Like Silver Icing, Tropic Skincare, Simply Naturals, GelMoment is not a pyramid scheme.
Is GelMoment a Scam?
No, GelMoment is not a scam.
However, if you think this is enough for you to jump in GelMoment ’s so-called opportunity straight away, then I suggest that you hold your horses. This is just the most basic thing, so don’t go signing up for this company right away.
Before making your decision, I suggest that you do a thorough research on the MLM first. You can consult some of the sources I listed below. Take note that you can definitely consult any source you want to, but the sources I listed below are the best kinds to consult, for various reasons listed.
What Sources Should You Look For?
There are three kinds of sources that you can consult when it comes to researching MLMs. There are other kinds of sources, but I believe that these three sources will be of the most help to you.
What you are currently reading is the best source you can find online at this moment. This GelMoment review is full of well-researched information that are fact-checked. These reviews are called third-party reviews, as from what the name says, these are published by third-parties with no affiliations to the MLMs they talk about.
As this is the case with these third-parties, they are not afraid to publish the true facts that they managed to get their hands on. Even if it makes the MLMs look bad, they publish it, because their goal is to stop misinformation that these MLMs gladly proliferate.
If you are looking for some people to discuss MLMs with, then I suggest that you sign up for online forums. The most active forum that I found has thousands of members who are all willing to help people find answers to their inquiries.
In these forums, the information is always being updated. This is because forum members try to give the the most accurate information possible in order to not mislead the other members.
How to Make Money from Silver Icing
Since Silver Icing is an MLM, there are two basic ways to make money with the company. and these are:
- Selling products
- Recruiting members
Like I said previously, these are the mere basic ways to make money in the company. If you are looking for a way to boost your earnings, I suggest that you try to qualify for the available bonuses and benefits that are being offered by the company. This is because the earnings you get from an MLM are not stable.
However, most benefits are only available to those who are able to build an active downline. Building a downline is easier said than done, because it is the aspect of an MLM that requires recruiting. You need to keep recruiting in order to rank up and rake more benefits.
Take note that your current upline and the people you are planning to recruit are also your competitors. You are all vying for sales and new recruits, which makes this system pretty confusing.
Remember that the MLM business model is not sustainable, so as time goes by, you will run out of people to recruit.
MLMs do not really care about how many products you sell. What they care about is how many you buy and how many people you can bring in.
How Much Can You Make?

Folks, looks like we found another one. It seems like GelMoment does not publish a proper income disclosure statement, and I do not think that we will see one from them anytime soon. I guess GelMoment is indeed an MLM, since most MLMs I reviewed refused to share this vital piece of information too.
Because we do not have the data that would accurately tell us how much people really earn in this company, I guess that all we can do right now is to speculate. However, judging by how these companies love to lie about how their members earned more than those who work boring corporate jobs, I don’t think that GelMoment is any different.
When it comes to MLMs, we all know by now that they lie. They also take advantage of people. Ever noticed why most MLM members are single parents, unemployed, or fresh graduates? This is because they are the most desperate, and the people who want to make money.
These people are not to blame for the influx of MLM posts in social media. It is the toxic system that enables this. If MLMs have been shut down long ago, a lot of people would have saved their money and not fallen debt because of this so-called financial opportunities.
It is a basic right of someone who wants to join an MLM to know how much they can make. Also, isn’t this the main reason why they would want to join? Why refuse them that right?
Things I Like in GelMoment
Unique Product Line
I haven’t really heard of a company that sells a one-coat nail polish before. In fact, I am quite impressed by this. Just imagine how wonderful it would be to just wait a minute for your nails to dry. It also saves a lot of time because you need not coat your nails before applying nail polish. You can just do it directly.
Things I Dislike in GelMoment
Exclusive Niche
Not everyone buys nail polish. To be honest, most people I know of just go to a salon to get their nails done, myself included. Besides, it takes skill to do nail art too, and not a lot of people have time for that.
I guess GelMoment’s target market are those who are looking for a cheaper alternative than nail salons. After all, those are closed at the moment due to the pandemic. Maybe they will consider learning nail art?
Expensive to Maintain
You only need to pay $99 to start your GelMoment business. However, in order to qualify for commissions, you have to sell at least $200 worth of product every three months.
The problem with this is that you constantly need to hunt for customers. Remember that not a lot of people buy nail polish. Also, a bottle of nail polish takes ages to deplete, even with heavy usage. Not everyone does their nails everyday.
It is an MLM
This is an MLM, so it means that a lot of people definitely failed in this venture. In fact, 99% of people who join MLMs fail to make money, and they do not even earn back their initial investment.
GelMoment Compensation Plan
Here are the ways to get paid in GelMoment:
- Retail Commissions. For every product you sell, you can earn at least 15% commissions. Before you can even receive commissions, though, you need to be qualified for it first. This requires you to sell $200 worth of products every three months. Your commission can increase up to 50% as you climb the ranks.
- Residual Commissions. To qualify for this, you need to be at least in the Gossip Girl rank. It requires you to get a one-time order of $500, team sales worth $450, and monthly sales of $250.
This video can explain GelMoment’s compensation plan better.

Final Verdict – GelMoment
Before I end this GelMoment review, I would like to share a few more insights that could help you.
As you reach the end of this GelMoment review, I am hoping that you got the answers you needed. To thank you for staying here up to this point, I will be giving a few more bits of advice, which will be useful for your future endeavors.
What ticks me off is that MLMs use propaganda in order to get sales, from advertising ridiculous claims about their products, selling products that are not FDA approved, and claiming that their products can cure incurable diseases.
Let me clear this up right now. You cannot make the money that is being advertised to you. If you are thinking that you get to be your own boss in this company, then I suggest that you stop thinking that right now.
If you are really your own boss, then why is there a CEO? Why do you have to follow quotas set by the company? This doesn’t make sense, right?
I am telling you this because I know that you are better than what the MLM thinks. They think that you are someone weak and easily manipulated. The fact that you showed up here means that you know how to do your own research, and that you are ready to call them out on their lies.
A better opportunity is available for you, and all you need to do is read the next section.
That’s it for my GelMoment review. Hopefully this GelMoment review helps with your decision.
