Grace and Heart is a multi-level marketing company founded by Suzanne Garrett. The company sells jewelry. There are also other MLMs who sell jewelry, including Noonday Collection, Stella and Dot, Tocara, and Fifth Avenue Collection.
Before she founded her own company, Garrett used to work in the human resource management field.
The company was founded in 2015, and is currently based in California, United States.

How Do MLMs Work?
MLMs are masters of deception and manipulation. They might seem friendly to you at first in able to get your trust. In time though, you will come to realize just how much they do not care about you. Oftentimes, people realize this when it is already too late and they are already deep in debt.
MLMs often brand themselves as side hustles which you can do, and market themselves towards single parents, mostly. These people are the ones desperate for ways to make money, while spending time with their growing children. These people cannot afford a babysitter, so they have to be the ones caring for their kids most of the day.
These companies target these people because they are the ones willing to do anything just so they can feed their children. They brainwash them with promises of a better life and a better future. Of course these people would believe them, as they see these companies as their savior.
Another concept I would like to point out is the toxic positivity mindset that I mentioned earlier. These MLMs plant this mindset in the heads of the members ever since their first day of being a member.
Toxic positivity works like this. A person signs up for a MLM, regardless of what their family or friends say about the company. The company then brainwashes the person into thinking that anything negative being said regarding the opportunity they signed up for are just haters who do not know anything about it.
The problem with that is that it is very easy to research now about the negative things that these predatory corporations have done. Mainstream media even reported on them. People are not dumb. They are aware of the things happening around them.
Is Grace and Heart a Pyramid Scheme?
Since Grace and Heart members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that Grace and Heart is not a pyramid scheme.
However, since Grace and Heart is still an MLM, do not expect to make money if you have no plans on recruiting people. Recruiting will earn you significantly more money than actual product selling, and is more encouraged.
This just makes Grace and Heart look like a pyramid scheme in disguise, doesn’t it?

However, if you think this is enough for you to jump in Grace and Heart’s so-called opportunity straight away, then I suggest that you hold your horses. This is just the most basic thing, so don’t go signing up for this company right away.
Before making your decision, I suggest that you do a thorough research on the MLM first. You can consult some of the sources I listed below. Take note that you can definitely consult any source you want to, but the sources I listed below are the best kinds to consult, for various reasons listed.
What Sources Should You Look For?
There are three kinds of sources that you can consult when it comes to researching MLMs. There are other kinds of sources, but I believe that these two sources will be of the most help to you.
When it comes to MLMs, the best source worth looking into are third-party reviews, just like this Grace and Heart review that you are currently reading. This is not because we are patronizing, but third-party reviews like these are just the best source of information you can find around without having to pay for anything.
For one, third-party reviews are composed of information that was gained from research. This means that reviews have already consolidated the information you need in one place. You need not open different tabs and search multiple times for tidbits of information. Everything is already laid out for you, and they are fact-checked too.
If you are not able to find the answers you need in reviews, then it means that maybe you should look somewhere else. Even though the best source to look into are reviews, this does not necessarily mean that they are perfect.
This is when you should consider looking into online forums. These forums contain information from different sources. You would have to look into several forum threads to find what you are looking for, but they are still credible and well-researched information nonetheless.
You also have the option to ask around and engage with discussions with different forum members. They are pretty friendly and approachable, especially towards those who have valid concerns. Not only would you learn from them, but you can also make new acquaintances who are knowledgeable with MLMs.
How to Make Money from Grace and Heart
Since Grace and Heart is an MLM, there are only two ways to make money with the company. and these are:
- Selling products
- Recruiting members
I am sure that whoever reached out to you did not even bother explaining these methods thoroughly, so I guess I better do that for you before you make a decision.
Selling is pretty self-explanatory and also straightforward. Joining an MLM has its own perks. You can enjoy discounts from products, which will encourage you to try them out. Being able to buy samples would be great because you can show your customers the quality of products they will be receiving once their orders arrive.
Recruiting is a whole other different thing though. To be successful with this, you need to have a charisma, and be personable. Those who are able to bring many people in the company are rewarded with cash bonuses, benefits, and additional commissions.
Remember that the MLM business model is not sustainable, so as time goes by, you will run out of people to recruit.
MLMs do not really care about how many products you sell. What they care about is how many you buy and how many people you can bring in.
How Much Can You Make?
The problem with most MLMs is that they are not being transparent towards the people that they should be the most honest to, namely, their members. Like a typical MLM which does not seem to care, Grace and Heart does not publish an income disclosure statement.
You might say that I came off as way too harsh, but I am merely speaking the truth here. A company is responsible to tell its investors if they can make money, right? That is how pitches work. The investors will then get to decide if the company is worth investing in.
MLMs work like that, but their main investors are common, everyday people like you and I. These people do not have money to throw away that easily. What they have is reserved for their everyday needs, with only a minimum amount to spare for a side hustle. These people have more to lose than gain.
What I do not get is that these MLMs seem to be open to talking about how great everything is, when in truth, MLM opportunities are pretty disastrous. They promise you success and money, but 99% of people who joined MLMs have not achieved any of those.
Are you willing to bet on the 1%? Cue toxic positivity again. No, you cannot fight against those odds by “working hard”. There are other factors at stake here. Think of your family. You will be dragging them down too.
Things I Like in Grace and Heart
Honestly, there is nothing good I can say about Grace and Heart. They are a typical MLM company whose goal is to recruit as many people as possible. They do nothing to stand out.
Things I Dislike in Grace and Heart
Lack of Transparency
This company does not publish an income disclosure statement, which is already a red flag. Furthermore, very limited information is available regarding their compensation plan as well. I do not know why they refuse to share such important information to their members, but this is not a good sign.
Are they hiding something? Who knows.
Limited Market
Not everyone is a fan of jewelry. To be honest, accessories do not really have an important purpose, so a lot of people do not bother buying them. This company is probably aware of that, which is why they chose an MLM business model.
In an MLM, members are required to purchase products first before they can sell them. This is to assure that companies will be making profit even though the member was not able to sell the product. To be honest, this regulation is purely anti-member.
It is an MLM
This is an MLM, so it means that a lot of people definitely failed in this venture. In fact, 99% of people who join MLMs fail to make money, and they do not even earn back their initial investment.
Grace and Heart Compensation Plan
Here are the ways to make money in Grace and Heart:
- Retail Commissions. For every product you manage to sell, you earn a 25% to 33% commission. By reaching the quota of $1500 worth of monthly sales, you can increase your commissions to 30%. As you climb the ranks, you will be able to reach the goal of 33% commission.
- Fast Start Bonus. If you manage to sell $650 worth of products, you get $100 worth of jewelry for free. If you manage to reach this quota in your first week with the company, you get another $100 worth of products for free. Recruiting someone in your first 90 days with Grace and Heart will reward you with $250 worth of jewelry.
- Team Commissions. These are the commissions you receive depending on your team’s sales.
