Hungry Bark Review: Is This Pet Product MLM Trustworthy?

Today we will be reviewing a company called Hungry Bark. Is Hungry Bark a scam? Find out in this Hungry Bark Review.

I am sure that you wouldn’t even be here today if not for the hunbot who told you about Hungry Bark. I mean, who wouldn’t be tempted by the offer of a lifetime? Being your own boss, managing your own hours, and earning money passively is the dream life.

Of course, MLMs know that most people are willing to do anything just to get our of their jobs where they feel like they are being underpaid. Not to mention that people are getting burned out from having to do the same tasks five days a week, eight hours a day.

Basically, people want a source of income where they do not have to follow a rigid company schedule. They want to enjoy vacations and days off. They want to spend time with their families properly.

As you continue reading this Hungry Bark review, you will discover a lot of things regarding this MLM, while also about MLMs in general. So sit back, relax, grab a snack, and let me do the talking.

Before we go further in this Hungry Bark review, I will define two terms first: MLM and pyramid scheme.

MLM members make money by selling products and recruiting new members. In pyramid schemes, members could only make money by recruiting people. Pyramid schemes are illegal and banned by the FTC.

As a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with Hungry Bark in any way.

Hopefully this Hungry Bark review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

What is Hungry Bark?

Hungry Bark Review - Hungry Bark intro

Hungry Bark is a multi-level marketing company that sells pet products. I am actually surprised that an MLM like this exists, but like I said before, there seems to be an MLM for anything nowadays.

The company was founded by Nick Molina in 2019. It seems like this is the first MLM company he has been involved in. Hungry Bark is currently based in Florida, USA. Molina used to work for telecommunications before he founded his own company.

How Do MLMs Work?

Now that I have discussed the origins of Hungry Bark and the types of products they sell, I guess we can take a break from discussing them at the moment. In the meantime, let us talk about how MLMs operate. You will be surprised at how much information they are trying to hide from the public.

For one, MLM members are required to follow a strict set of rules. The most prominent one I could think is that you cannot critic the products. You cannot advertise them as freely as possible. What you have to do is to follow the script that was prepared for you by your upline.

Basically, you cannot say anything negative. Even if a product you sell has side effects, you cannot tell your customers that. You will be reported. Your upline will also scold you for spreading negativity, even if you only have pure intentions in mind.

Second, you need to follow very strict sales quotas. You cannot join an MLM expecting that you can do it passively. Time and effort are needed here. You cannot slack off because these sales quotas are pretty relentless.

If you cannot follow these quotas, you will be forcibly dropped by the company. This means that you lose the right to sell the products you already spent money on. This is why most people who joined MLMs are deep in debt – they thought they could sustain the business by buying the products for themselves.

You cannot be your own boss here. The company has a CEO just like a regular corporation. Take note that you do not receive a salary for your efforts too; the only means to earn money are by earning commissions that you get from product sales. No sales means no earnings.

Is Hungry Bark a Pyramid Scheme?

Since Hungry Bark members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that Hungry Bark is not a pyramid scheme.

However, since Hungry Bark is still an MLM, do not expect to make money if you have no plans on recruiting people. Recruiting will earn you significantly more money than actual product selling, and is more encouraged.

This just makes Hungry Bark look like a pyramid scheme in disguise, doesn’t it?

Pyramid scheme vs Multi-level marketing

Like ByDzyne, Anovite, and Q Sciences, Hungry Bark is not a pyramid scheme.

Is Hungry Bark a Scam?

No, Hungry Bark is not a scam.

However, if you think this is enough for you to jump in Hungry Bark’s so-called opportunity straight away, then I suggest that you hold your horses. This is just the most basic thing, so don’t go signing up for this company right away.

Before making your decision, I suggest that you do a thorough research on the MLM first. You can consult some of the sources I listed below. Take note that you can definitely consult any source you want to, but the sources I listed below are the best kinds to consult, for various reasons listed.

What Sources Should You Look For?

There are three kinds of sources that you can consult when it comes to researching MLMs. There are other kinds of sources, but I believe that these two sources will be of the most help to you.

For one, you already found the best source available online. Yes, you read that right. This Hungry Bark review is a third-party review, and third-party reviews are the best source of information online about MLMs. Third-party reviews are in-depth and detailed, which explains why they are the best.

Third-party reviews, just like what their name says, are published by third-party entities. This means that these entities have no connections with any MLMs, so you can be assured that these reviews are not biased. Furthermore, reviews take time to write, as they require intensive research and fact-checking.

Even though third-party reviews are the best source of information, they are still not perfect. They are capable of answering most general concerns, but of course, I am sure that you will still have unanswered questions after reading the whole review.

This is when you need to consult online forums. These forums are dedicated to sources of information, and just like databases, they keep the information as fresh as possible. The forum members are also more than willing to answer any questions or inquiries that you may have.

Other than that, you can also engage in discussions with other people in there. It makes for a good learning environment.

How to Make Money from Hungry Bark

Since Hungry Bark is an MLM, there are only two ways to make money with the company. and these are:

  1. Selling products
  2. Recruiting members

In order to make money from Hungry Bark, you need to dedicate a lot of time and effort to the MLM. Trust me, it is a lot harder than working a regular job. At least in a regular job, you get to rest and still get the same pay even if the day isn’t busy.

Like I mentioned before, you do not get any salary for working in an MLM. Even if you work extra hard than other people, you are still not entitled to receive any wages. The only way to make money here is if you are able to make sales, and we all know that is not an easy feat.

You can try to recruit people to join the business, and have them sell the products for you. The more people you recruit, the more money you can make. This is easier said than done though, because not many people are willing to join a company with the MLM business model.

Remember that the MLM business model is not sustainable, so as time goes by, you will run out of people to recruit.

MLMs do not really care about how many products you sell. What they care about is how many you buy and how many people you can bring in.

How Much Can You Make?

This MLM is fairly new, which explains why they do not have an income disclosure statement yet. However, let us not get our hopes up. Most MLMs I have reviewed do not publish one.

These companies have no obligation to do so, but their business is centered towards the success of their members. This means that they have to be as transparent as possible. Trust is a two-way relationship. What these companies are doing are just making themselves look suspicious.

They are hiding the data from their potential members, as they are afraid of them knowing the truth. If joining the company will make members successful, then shouldn’t they be proud and present an income disclosure statement?

Turns out that they lie about it, too. Most MLM members do not make money, and that is backed by quite a lot of reputable sources.

Things I Like in Hungry Bark

Good Concept

This is the first MLM I know of that is primarily focused on pet products. From what I have seen on their YouTube channel, they also share a lot of information regarding the use of the products, which means that they are catering to dog owners. Their goal seems to be a personal shopping experience for dog lovers.

Other than that, they can also help customize a dog’s diet, which is a good selling point for people who love their dogs. I think this MLM can be a game-changer if they do things right.

Free Membership

I rarely see MLMs with no membership fees. For a new company, this seems to be the best approach, as it gets more people to try it out and see if they will want to stay in the company. I commend them for being member-friendly, at least for now.

Things I Dislike in Hungry Bark

Expensive Products

For one, this is one I could completely understand, as pet food could be expensive. Shopping in Hungry Bark is also a more personal experience, so I guess that is what they are trying to cash in on.

However, we know that some people are on a budget, and they simply cannot go over that one. The prices of Hungry Bark’s products might not appeal to some customers.

It is an MLM

This is an MLM, so it means that a lot of people definitely failed in this venture. In fact, 99% of people who join MLMs fail to make money, and they do not even earn back their initial investment.

Final Verdict – Hungry Bark

Before I end this Hungry Bark review, I would like to share a few more insights that could help you.

Hungry Bark is quite a unique company who actually sells unique products. They are a pretty new company, which is why they may entice new people to sign up. Because they are still at their infancy, this may attract new people to sign up because they may be thinking that they are getting ahead of others.

Despite this, however, I still do not recommend joining this company. For one, it is quite risky. Since they are pretty new, the business isn’t established yet. This means that they may close down anytime.

Second, we are still in the midst of a global pandemic, which is not good for new businesses. People are just not that willing to spend as much as before. I mean, it is totally your choice to buy things you like, but given the uncertainty of the current situation, it is a lot better to save your money.

I hope that you take your time to reconsider what is best for you. MLMs often tell their members to quit their jobs, but a job is the best thing to have right now. An MLM is not a steady source of income, so I suggest you do not listen to hunbots.

I know of a better opportunity than an MLM. You can find the details about it in the section below.
