Today we will be reviewing a company called Immunotec. Is Immunotec a scam? Find out in this Immunotec review.
Even if you are the person in your friend group who consumes a lot of health supplements and fitness products, I still doubt that you have heard of Immunotec before. I mean, at least, you would not be aware that they exist before that hunbot got in touch with you. If you are wondering why, then it is because that is how they do marketing.
MLMs are pretty obscure companies, and their business model they use is direct selling. Basically, they don’t do any major advertising like the big companies do. They rely on their members, which are their hunbots, to spread the word about the company, in the hopes that they will attract interest.
I wouldn’t be surprised that you are tempted to join Immunotec, because I am sure that the hunbot you talked to promised you an opportunity where you get the chance to run your own business, and you get to pick your own hours. They mostly target single mothers and people who are desperate for extra money.
MLM members make money by selling products and recruiting new members. In pyramid schemes, members could only make money by recruiting people. Pyramid schemes are illegal and banned by the FTC.
As a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with Immunotec in any way.
Hopefully this Immunotec review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

What is Immunotec?
Immunotech is a multi-level marketing company that sells products that can help boost the immune system. The products are a work of the company’s own team that conducts their own research and product development.
By the year 2017, Immunotec was able to generate more than $100 million worth of earnings. Immunotec’s products were the products of 15 years of research by Dr. Patricia Kongshavn and Dr. Gustavo Bounus. These people are also responsible for Immunocal, a high-quality bioactive material.
Dr. Bounus studied in the University of Turin and University of Genoa. He was a researcher who specialized in surgery in the Indiana Medical Center. Bounus was also a professor of surgery at McGill University and Universite de Sherbrooke. He earned the medal from the Canadian Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons.

How Do MLMs Work?
Let’s take a pause from discussing Immunotec at the moment and discuss the bigger picture. In this section, we discuss MLMs in general. As someone who has extensive knowledge about MLMs from reviewing hundreds of them, I think that I can help you spot MLMs and run away from them as far as you can.
If this is the first time you ever encountered an MLM, then I suggest that you don’t skip this section. Remember that in this review, I am totally on your side.
Let’s talk about how MLMs love throwing the word ‘success’ around.
Well, I would not be surprised if the main thing that brought you here is a promise of success and prosperity. I mean, who wouldn’t be tempted with that? Guaranteed success and prosperity just by paying hundreds of dollars? Anyone with extra money would definitely be intrigued by this opportunity.
However, it isn’t as simple as these MLMs make it sound. They are probably thinking that you are pretty gullible and foolish, and they will use it to their own advantage.
When you counter these MLMs with well-researched facts that state that people do not make money in their company, all they would tell you is it takes “hard work”. Yeah, that is the basic factor of success. In an MLM, however, hard work means putting all your time in the company (you are not paid for this though) and hope that one day your business will take off.
No matter how many times they reiterate that success is guaranteed here, they just would not explain how those successful members made themselves successful.
Is Immunotec a Pyramid Scheme?
Since Immunotec members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that Immunotec is not a pyramid scheme.
However, since Immunotec is still an MLM, do not expect to make money if you have no plans on recruiting people. Recruiting will earn you significantly more money than actual product selling, and is more encouraged.
This just makes Immunotec look like a pyramid scheme in disguise, doesn’t it?
Is Immunotec a Scam?
No, Immunotec is not a scam.
However, if you think this is enough for you to jump in Immunotec’s so-called opportunity straight away, then I suggest that you hold your horses. This is just the most basic thing, so don’t go signing up for this company right away.
Before making your decision, I suggest that you do a thorough research on the MLM first. You can consult some of the sources I listed below. Take note that you can definitely consult any source you want to, but the sources I listed below are the best kinds to consult, for various reasons listed.
What Sources Should You Look For?
There are three kinds of sources that you can consult when it comes to researching MLMs. There are other kinds of sources, but I believe that these three sources will be of the most help to you.
You are in luck, because you are currently browsing through the best source you can find. When it comes to researching MLMs, the best sources you can consult are third-party reviews, like this Immunotec review. These reviews are unaffiliated with the MLMs they talk about, what they publish is entirely based on facts they got from research. They are not afraid with whatever facts they publish, be it good or bad for the company’s image.
There are also online communities that are dedicated to discussing MLMs. Most of these communities have thousands of members, and are pretty active everyday. These people are quite helpful to other members, and are very open to questions and inquiries. They are willing to share their research with others, as they are all working towards the same goal of warning people about MLMs.
Another good source to look out for are testimonies from people who used to be MLM members. These testimonies tell about their experiences and the knowledge they gained from working with MLMs. These people are valuable sources of information because they know information that MLMs do not want the public to know.BONUS : My #1 Recommendation To Make Money Online In 2021(Free Guide)>>
How to Make Money from Immunotec
Since Immunotec is an MLM, there are two basic ways to make money with the company. and these are:
- Selling products
- Recruiting members
These are only the basic ways with which you can get paid in Immunotec. Most of the MLMs I know of offer quite a number of bonuses and benefits which their members could choose from. You should note, however, that most of these bonuses revolve around the recruiting aspect. To know which benefits you can choose from, you can go to the compensation plan section of this Immunotec review.
Like I said before, the bonuses revolve around you having a downline. This is easier said than done though, because recruiting takes quite a lot of persuasion. It isn’t really as easy as they make it sound. It involves recruiting people into the business and into signing up under you.
You need to be able to meet sales quotas. If you cannot meet these quotas monthly, you would lose the right to selling the company’s products. In fact, these companies even encourage that you buy the products for personal use. How are you even supposed to make money when you have to buy your own products?
Remember that the MLM business model is not sustainable, so as time goes by, you will run out of people to recruit.
MLMs do not really care about how many products you sell. What they care about is how many you buy and how many people you can bring in.
Immunotec sells products that are divided in the following categories:
- Immunocal – $109.75
- Booster – $79.75
- Platinum – $156.25
- Booster Energy Performance – $84.75
- Calcium-D from Milk – $19.75
- Cogniva with Syna-PS50 – $63.50
- Contralenta – $44.50
- Daily Essentials Pack – $84.50
- K-21 1L Bottle – $39.75
- K-21 1L – Pack of 6 – $196.75
- Magistral – $40.25
- Multi + Resveratrol – $37.00
- Omega Gen V – $38.00
- On the Go Shake
- Chocolate Amore – $51.50
- Strawberry Surprise – $51.50
- Vanilla Dream – $51.50
- Probio 3+ with Cranberry – $36.50
- Seren-T200 – $29.25
- Xtra Sharp
- Original Formula – $34.50
- Fruit Flavor – $42.00
How Much Can You Make?
You can view and access Immunotec’s income disclosure statement by clicking this link. I also included the photo of the chart to this Immunotec review.
Take note that this report is from 2016, and I cannot seem to find a more recent one. Anyway, just look at this and tell me that it’s just ridiculous. Turns out that majority of the company, 60.84% to be specific, did not make any money during this year. Well, I am quite surprised that Immunotec even let this information go public.
It’s a pretty bold move for them to let this be known. 11.36% made $1-25 per month, and that is just way, way below minimum wage. I don’t understand why those people even stayed in this company for that long, considering how little they made.
Note, however, that this numbers only signify the commissions those members made during the particular year. Their other expenses were not taken into account; miscellaneous expenses like utilities, transportation, and shipping costs that they all spent just to market and sell the products.
Since we are backed with complete and legitimate data, I can properly answer your question. No, you cannot make any money in Immunotec.
Things I Like in Immunotec
Immunotec is just another MLM in the health and wellness niche, and is no different from the other MLMs in the same niche. Basically, Immunotec is just one of the many. They don’t really offer anything groundbreaking or special, so I cannot find anything positive to say about them.
Things I Dislike in Immunotec
If you need a reference to this, then I suggest you check out the product section of the review so you can check their product prices.
MLMs like Immunotec think that they can charge people as much as they want for their products. However, what they fail to realize is that these people know better. Their target market are people who are into health products, but not everyone is willing to try out products being marketed to them by a stranger.
I am not quite sure why Immunotec and other MLMs does this, but I think they are pretty ahead of themselves. Their products are not really unique. Also, they are already pretty obscure, which just turns off people more.
Immunotec is only one of many health and wellness MLMs out there. In fact, I have already reviewed a lot of these companies, but I think I barely scratched the surface. Well, the health and wellness niche is pretty profitable, which explains why most MLMs you heard of are in this niche.
These companies make a lot of money because of repeat purchases. Of course, the people who consume these products need to be supplied more. You cannot really just take vitamins once, right?
Not FDA Approved
Yes, you heard that right. Immunotec’s products are not approved by the FDA. This means that these products could have harmful side effects.
What I cannot comprehend is this. Why would this company push their agenda when they do not even have proper FDA certification in the first place? That is the most basic thing.
It is an MLM
This is an MLM, so it means that a lot of people definitely failed in this venture. In fact, 99% of people who join MLMs fail to make money, and they do not even earn back their initial investment.
Immunotec Compensation Plan
You can view and access Immunotec’s compensation plan by clicking this link.
Here are the ways you can get paid in Immunotec:

Final Verdict – Immunotec
Before I end this Immunotec review, I would like to share a few more insights that could help you.
First of all, I would like to commend you for reading this Immunotec review up to this point. As a form of thanks, I will be imparting a few more words of advice.
If you are not into recruiting, then don’t expect to succeed in Immunotec. If you check their compensation plan, you will notice that most of the bonuses and benefits they advertise require their members to keep recruiting. In fact, most of the money you can make from this company is from recruiting and not selling.
I guess their “business opportunity” is falsely advertised, considering how little money you can make from actually selling the products. It is a real challenge, because most people are not really very keen on supporting and buying from MLMs, due to their ridiculous claims and false advertising.
Immunotec, like other MLM companies, is controlled by lying. I doubt your conscience could take having to constantly lie just to earn money.
If you want a great opportunity that does not require you to recruit, then I suggest checking out the next section.
That’s it for my Immunotec review. Hopefully this Immunotec review helps with your decision.
