Jeunesse MLM Review: Pyramid Scheme or Scam?

Today we will be reviewing a company called Jeunesse. Is Jeunesse a pyramid scheme or scam? Find out in this Jeunesse MLM review.

Have you heard of Jeunesse before? I highly doubt it, unless someone told you about it.

Chances are that the one who told you about Jeunesse is your local hunbot, a family member who claims that “they found something better than a full-time job”, a classmate from highschool who knows call herself “boss babe”, or a friend who got dragged into it by being too gullible.

You are probably here because one or more of those situations that I mentioned above happened to you, right?

Well then, you are in luck. I am here today to give you an in-depth review on Jeunesse, an MLM that is not unlike your other MLMs.

As a disclaimer, I am not connected or affiliated to Jeunesse in any way.

I am pretty sure that you did your skimming through Google about what Jeunesse is.

Well, they are an MLM. MLMs pretty much resemble pyramid schemes, except they have products to sell.

However, both emphasize recruiting which puts MLMs in a somehow gray area.

In this Jeunesse MLM review, I will be providing information about the company, its products, and how you can make money with it.

Hopefully this Jeunesse MLM review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

What is Jeunesse?

Jeunesse is a multi-level marketing company that sells health products, skincare products, and beauty products.

The company was founded by Wendy Lewis and Randy Ray in 2009.

Their name comes from the French word “jeunesse”, which means “young”.

Jeunesse MLM Review - Jeunesse products

Jeunesse claims that their products provide you with the the ability to feel young and stay young.

You can watch the video below to learn more about the company and how their so-called money-making opportunity works.

The company is currently based in Florida, United States.

How Do MLMs Work?

MLMs often present themselves as great opportunities that you can do full-time, even if you have other responsibilities like kids or education.

This is why these companies often make themselves appealable to single parents or stay-at-home parents.

The prospect of making additional income is a great opportunity, especially to those parents who want to be able to contribute to their household budgets.

These MLMs look like they are good investments because you get to manage to your own business somewhat, but in reality, all this will do is drain your savings and put you deep in debt.

Most MLMs oversell their products, often describing them as “unique”, “groundbreaking”, and that “you have never seen anything like this”.

Do not get fooled by this, however, since with a quick Google search, you will find out other products in Amazon that are most likely cheaper with more positive reviews than the one they sell.

Oftentimes, MLMs promise that you can make full-time income by them and encourage you to quit your job.

Please do not do that if you do not want to get your savings account drained and go homeless.

A job is still more stable compared to this.

The business models of MLMs are destined to fail, so they are not as established as you think they are.

If you want stability, then try starting your own business without depending on them.

Or you know, do well in your job and keep getting promoted.

Remember to do your research first before joining an MLM.

You will be surprised by how many lies these companies tell you in order to get their hands on your money.

Is Jeunesse a Pyramid Scheme?

Since Jeunesse members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that Jeunesse is not a pyramid scheme.

However, if you want to pursue this venture and succeed in it, then you have to keep recruiting.

Yes, recruiting pays you more than actual selling in Jeunesse.

If you are thinking that both options (recruiting and selling) are easy to do, then I would like to clarify right now that no, they are not.

Pyramid scheme vs Multi-level marketing

Like Neora, Aloette, and Perfectly Posh, Jeunesse is not a pyramid scheme.

Is Jeunesse a Scam?

No, Jeunesse is not a scam.

However, there are quite a lot of things that the company is hiding from you. I suggest that you watch this video to find out what those are.

Like I mentioned earlier, it’s important to do thorough research before jumping to an opportunity. Do this not only for MLMs, but for other opportunities as well.

How to Make Money from Jeunesse

Just like your typical MLM, Jeunesse only has two ways you can do to make money:

  1. Selling products
  2. Recruiting members

The emphasis is on recruiting, unsurprisingly. You will definitely earn more from recruiting than actual selling here, so prepare to recruit as many people as you need.

Jeunesse has the following starter packs available:

  • Ambassador Platinum Package – $2,095.95
  • ZEN28 + Signup Package – $399.95
  • Ambassador Nutri Package – $1,199.95
  • Monavie 3 Package – $325.95
  • Ambassador Package – $1,099.95
  • Ambassador Naara Package – $1,349.95
  • NV Ambassador Package – $999.95
  • 6 Months Ambassador Nutritional Package – $1,199.95
  • Supreme Nutritional Package – $625.95
  • Supreme Beauty Package – $599.95
  • Basic Beauty Package – $283.95
  • Supreme Naara Package – $799.95
  • Basic Nutitional Package – $283.95
  • Basic Naara Package – $319.95

Just when you think things will actually get better, you see these ridiculous prices.

However, Jeunesse continues to advertise that these packages are discounted compared to buying the products individually.

Yeah, I am not too psyched about the idea of spending money on a starter pack that I am not even sure if I can sell.

Sure, the company can continue to plague you with how much you are saving and how much you will be making, but why would you need to shell out money for this in first place?

Why would you need to spend money in order to earn? That does not make any sense.

Things I Like in Jeunesse

Established Company

The company has been around for more than ten years, so I guess you can consider them as pretty stable.

However, do not make this your only basis of joining MLMs.

Looks like FTC has not shut them down yet? Maybe in the near future though.

Positive Product Reviews

Surprisingly, some of Jeunesse’s products actually work, at least according to these reviews:

Things I Dislike in Jeunesse

Overpriced Products

Jeunesse MLM Review - Jeunesse overpriced products

Look at how expensive this is for a single moisturizer.

I do not even need to show you how much the competing products are from well-known brands, because we all know that moisturizer does not cost this much.

This is the only sample I am showing because everything else in the website is so expensive.

Do they do anything special compared to the ones from well-known brands? I doubt it.

Emphasis on Recruiting

This is to be expected as this is an MLM, after all.

What is frustrating about this is that I know that all MLM companies have potential, even Jeunesse.

I am sure that there are people out there that will want to buy from them.

However, since they choose to pattern themselves after pyramid schemes, it makes it harder for people to support them.

I, for one, do not want to buy from MLMs as to not encourage this predatory behavior.

Also, it is pretty scummy and predatory because you have to resort to begging, to lying, and even messaging random strangers just so you can get commissions.

Low Income Potential

You can view Jeunesse’s 2020 Income Disclosure Statement here, and it looks really bad.

From the data we could dissect, it seems like only 8,611 distributors are active. 15.34% of them did not earn any commissions at all.

Not only that, but 65.09% made $245 or less, 14.22% made $4,350 or less, and 2.22% made $82,000 or less.

The top earners, or those in the 2.22%, took them an average of 6 years to earn that amount.

From this data alone, we could already see that joining this company is not a good idea.

Note how much time it took for people to earn that much money, and to be honest, it still isn’t impressive.

Definitely not a good full-time income stream.

Also, note that this data is only about those who remained active. To do so, you need to keep purchasing products.

I would like to conclude, with confidence, that there are more people out there who saw potential in this company but failed to remain active or even got in serious financial trouble.

Since you will start from the bottom, expect that you will be earning less than $100.

You are lucky if you make more than that.

Buy to Survive

To be able to maintain your active status in Jeunesse, you have to buy products.

It does not really matter what you do with them. Jeunesse doesn’t care at all if you sell them or not, but you have to give them the money.

Do you see how scummy that is?

Now you know why these companies are so rich – they have the best customers. Who are the customers? Well, the members, of course!

Lots of Competition

There are already thousands, or perhaps millions of companies and brands out there selling the same things that Jeunesse does.

Moreover, these brands are more well-known, more reputable, and a lot cheaper when it comes to prices. How do you think can you compete with them if you plan to join Jeunesse?

Simple. You cannot.

People will continue to choose brands that they know of.

Also, who would think of even buying from you when it is so easy to get to a mall and shop there? Not to mention that online shopping is now the norm.

Also, your products are expensive.

People will always look at the price first before buying anything. That is another challenge you will face if you plan to join Jeunesse.

Final Verdict – Jeunesse

I have a few thoughts I would like to share before I end this Jeunesse MLM review.

At the end of the day, people will choose well-known brands over obscure ones.

If you think that they will buy from you just because your products are “unique”, then think again.

It also does not help that the brand does not stand out compared to other competitors out there. This is what is needed so that people would actually buy from them.

From expensive starter packs to expensive products, it seems like Jeunesse only cares about making money.

Once they get money from you, they do not care anymore.

Most people are in a budget when it comes to beauty products as these products are not really considered as necessities.

If you think that expensive products means better products, then think again.

People care more about the prices and the branding. Since Jeunesse cannot compromise in either of those, then well, tough luck.

You better look for a better opportunity elsewhere.

That’s it for my Jeunesse MLM review.

Hopefully this Jeunesse MLM review helps with your decision.
