Today we will be reviewing a company called J.Hilburn. Is J.Hilburn a pyramid scheme or scam? Find out in this J.Hilburn MLM review.
I will not be surprised anymore if you say that this company does not sound familiar to you. You are part of the majority of the population that has not heard that this company even exists, and there are reasons why.
Aside from being obscure, the company is also an MLM, and MLMs rarely do any advertising. That is how MLMs continue to stay afloat – by saving huge amounts of money by not doing advertising.
That aside, who do you think does advertising for them?
Simple. That work is assigned to the members who invest in the business. That’s right. That work is left in the hands of those who are willing to pay to start their own business.
The reason why you are here today is because a member reached out to you, in hopes to get sales or to recruit you. Most likely, it is because of both reasons. Unsurprising, since this is an MLM, after all.
MLM members make money by selling products and recruiting new members. In pyramid schemes, members could make money by recruiting people. However, pyramid schemes are illegal.
As a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with J.Hilburn in any way.
Hopefully this J.Hilburn MLM review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

What is J.Hilburn?
J.Hilburn is a multi-level marketing company that sells custom-tailored men’s clothing. I think this is the first MLM I heard of that sells these.
Not to be sexist or anything, but most men I know do not really like shopping. From what I can observe when I go to malls and shopping centers, women are the ones busily picking stuff while men are more than happy to be sitting down on couches on rest areas. They would rather play a game on their phone than accompany their partners and spouses in shopping.
That is what this company had in mind when they started the business. In J.Hilburn, their stylists will personally come to you whether it’s your home, office, or wherever location is convenient for you. They will then take your measurements, ask questions regarding your personal style, and then deliver your custom-made outfit to your door.
That completely removes the hassle of shopping, doesn’t it?

J.Hilburn was founded by Hil Davis and Veeral Rathod in 2007. They are currently based in Texas, United States.
How Do MLMs Work?
Welcome to the section dedicated to explaining why MLMs are a bane in our society, why you should not buy from them, and why you should not bother investing in them. You may say that I am biased for not liking MLMs, but the truth is, I have a lot of data to back my opinions regarding them.
Today, let us talk about why MLMs are not necessary anymore.
With the advent of online shopping, it is not surprising to see physical stores having online storefronts as well. The convenience of being able to shop without leaving your house has become a norm, especially during this pandemic.
MLMs have also resorted to selling online. They have started doing that even before the pandemic, but since then, it seems like more and more MLMs have turned to online selling in order to keep up with non-MLM competition.
However, what I don’t find acceptable is that these MLMs continue to prey on people during these difficult times. Instead of just selling their products and leaving them alone, they are still very pesky when it comes to recruiting.
Have some restraint, at least? Everyone is going through a difficult time, and money is quite hard to come by. A lot of people have lost their jobs, and yet all these MLMs think of are how to get people in debt even more by recruiting them.
If you think MLMs are a great way to earn money, then you are wrong. Not only would you get paid for how many products you buy (instead of sell), they will keep on asking you to keep buying more. Your upline does that because they earn commissions from every order you make.
Bottom line is, MLMs do not care about you. They only want your money.
Is J.Hilburn a Pyramid Scheme?
Since J.Hilburn earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that J.Hilburn is not a pyramid scheme.
However, since J.Hilburn is an MLM, do not expect to make money if you have no plans on recruiting people. Recruiting will earn you significantly more money than actual product selling, and is more encouraged.
This just makes J.Hilburn look like a pyramid scheme in disguise, doesn’t it?
Is J.Hilburn a Scam?
No, J.Hilburn is not a scam.
However, even if this is the case, you should not jump to the opportunity of joining the company straight away.
When it comes to MLMs, I suggest doing a lot of research. MLMs only publish articles that say positive things about them, so you should stay away from those sources.
The best sources you can find are third-party sources, like this review. We are not affiliated with J.Hilburn, so you can be assured that this review is not biased towards them.
You can also find forums online that actively discuss MLMs. The information there are constantly being updated, so the information you will be getting are fresh in every visit. You can also interact with forum members to gain valuable insights.
Another good source to look at are ex-member testimonies. These tell you how the company runs and how it treats its members.BONUS : My #1 Recommendation To Make Money Online In 2021(Free Guide)>>
How to Make Money from J.Hilburn
Since J.Hilburn is an MLM, there are two major ways to make money with the company. and these are:
- Selling products
- Recruiting members
Another way you can make money here is by reaping bonuses and benefits. Getting them is a whole other story, though.
You would have to build a downline, which involves recruiting. You cannot just recruit one person and be done with it; that is not how it works. You need to keep recruiting people as long as you can, and these people have to keep recruiting as well.
This is how you will get the passive income that MLMs promise. If you want to keep earning money, you will need to recruit weekly.
Remember that the MLM business model is not sustainable, so as time goes by, you will run out of people to recruit.
MLMs do not really care about how many products you sell. What they care about is how many you buy and how many people you can bring in.
This is sounding more and more like a pyramid scheme, doesn’t it?

Things I Like in J.Hilburn
Emphasis on Sales
Unlike other MLMs, this company emphasizes sales more than recruiting. What a rare sight. I guess this is because the company does not want to be labeled a pyramid scheme. They are a luxury brand, after all.
You are limited to how many downline members you can recruit. Also, the people you are selling the products to and those you are recruiting are not the same people. In J.Hilburn, your clients do not need to worry that you will be recruiting them.
You Can Learn Valuable Skills
This company takes training seriously. You need not worry about having to learn everything by yourself as J.Hilburn will be with you in every step of the way. To protect their brand, they want their stylist to learn the necessary skills.
No Need for Stocks
Since every piece is custom-made, you need not worry buying and hoarding stocks. The only things you need to buy is the starter kit with the tools you need to take people’s measurements and to show them samples.
Things I Dislike in J.Hilburn
Luxury Brand, Luxury Prices
This is a total turn-off if you are looking to sell a lot of pieces. Not everyone has the budget to buy J.Hilburn pieces as they are a luxury brand, so naturally, they also have luxury prices.
If you are thinking of trying to sell this to a person who earns minimum wage, then there is no way you can get any sales.
Men’s clothing, especially in this price point, are mostly sold individually. Unlike women’s clothing which you can sell in pop-up boutiques and parties, men are less likely to be giddy when it comes to shopping. Also, with the high price point, they are less likely to buy from you.
There are already lots of companies and brands selling men’s clothing. Even though J.Hilburn differentiates itself from the rest, it still sells the same stuff as other brands selling clothing.
Once again, price is a major factor when it comes to a business. The higher you price your products, the fewer customers you will attract to buy.

Final Verdict – J.Hilburn
Before I end this J.Hilburn MLM review, I would like to share a few more thoughts with you.
People value their money, so as much as possible, they are not so psyched with buying expensive products.
I cannot speak for the rich because I am not rich, so I do not know how they spend their money. Being the average person that I am, I do not really find expensive things as something to invest my money on, because well, I cannot afford them.
If you think that joining this company will earn you a lot of money, then that is where you are wrong. Do not expect high sales numbers.
Also, even if you find clients willing to pay high prices, there is no guarantee that they will buy from you. After all, there are a lot of designer brands out there selling the same stuff.
That’s it for my J.Hilburn MLM review. Hopefully this J.Hilburn MLM review helps with your decision.
