Regardless, starting your own trucking business means that you’re going to spend way more than the cost of the courses. As if the combined cost of all of them isn’t expensive enough, what more if you actually wanted to start it?

Will You Recommend Transportation Academy?
For the record, Kimberly Carver’s Transportation Academy is not a scam at all. It’s a completely legitimate educational program that introduces a legitimate business model.
However, I still can’t recommend getting into this business model.
First of all, the initial investment is going to be very high. Of course, for this to work, you’ll need your own truck, some employees like drivers, and quite possibly your own warehouse. All of these are going to cost you several hundreds of dollars.
For example, you’re basically going to spend around $125,000 to $150,000 for a truck. But then again, you’re also going to need more trucks to earn more from this business, which can easily ramp up the cost.
You may think that this may not be a problem for you, considering that you’re going to have many clients for your trucking business. Well, that is, if you manage to find many clients.
The trucking business may be shifting in full gear right now to deliveries being on demand today (thanks to the boom of online shopping). But then again, the number of freight brokers have also increased as well, which leads to saturation. This can affect you especially if you can’t retain a client, as maintaining this business is going to be very costly.
Finally, you can’t earn any kind of passive income with this business. Especially if that’s what you’re after in an online business. You’re going to have to closely monitor every aspect of this business while you’re running it, to make sure your clients are satisfied with your service.
This can be easily mitigated by outsourcing your business and hiring virtual assistants. But would that be worth it for the cost? Especially when you’re still starting out?

The trucking industry can be quite comparable to the real estate industry. In that you’re going to have to do not only a good bit of hustle to earn money, but you also have to have access to a large capital sum.

Transportation Academy is a great course that teaches a great business model. That is, if you’re used to the idea of sales talk to get clients to work with you. Since you’re going to be interacting with them a lot.
But if you don’t have any background in sales talk, then you’re going to have a hard time with this business model.
Of course, the biggest issue here is the money. Setting up your own trucking business costs a lot of money, and you may find yourself spending a lot more just to earn more here.
