Today we will be reviewing a company called La Señorita Jolie. Is La Señorita Jolie a pyramid scheme or scam? Find out in this La Señorita Jolie review.
There is a big chance that you haven’t heard of this company before. That isn’t so surprising, because this is an MLM, after all. MLMs rarely do any advertising because they let their members handle the marketing and advertising for their company.
I would not be surprised that you heard of this company from a hunbot in social media. The reason behind that is sadly, MLMs have successfully infiltrated social media. They use social media as a means to reach out to potential customers.
To be honest, they have successfully done so because they see everyone in social media as a customer. It does not matter whatever gender or race it is; they will come for you if you have a social media account. Even though you actively use it or not, you are surely a target.
Before we go further in this La Señorita Jolie review, I will be defining two important terms first: MLM and pyramid scheme.
MLMs rely on product sales and recruitment of new members to sustain their members. Pyramid schemes, on the other hand, rely on recruitment alone. Since both of them rely on the same business model of recruitment, they are always being mistaken as each other.
That aside, pyramid schemes are illegal and are banned by the FTC.
I would like to clarify that I am not, in any way, affiliated with La Señorita Jolie.
Hopefully this La Señorita Jolie review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

What is La Señorita Jolie?
La Señorita Jolie is a multi-level marketing company that sells fashion products. It was founded in 2015 by Jennifer Dixon. Their name is the translated form of “A Beautiful Girl” from mixed Spanish and French.

Dixon used to work in New York, and she did so for 13 years before going back to her hometown in North Carolina to start her own company.
The company then extended its business to many states, and has gained a lot of representatives in the process. With all the profit the company is getting, Dixon founded Capstone Branding, which is a digital marketing company.
You can find out more about the company by watching this video from their own official YouTube channel.
How Do MLMs Work?
Welcome to my favorite section of the review where I talk about how nasty MLMs really are, and why I think they should be banned by the FTC.
Today, we will be talking about how MLMs overprice its products and how it harms its own members by doing so.
When it comes to product pricing, people often want to get value out of their money. This means that you cannot expect everyone to spend their money on expensive stuff unless they really want to.
Middle-class people rarely buy designer products, to be honest. Sure, they can afford to, but they would prefer spending money on a cheaper alternative.
Most middle-class people would only buy designer products once or twice in their lives. Most of the time, they find alternatives with the same quality that has a cheaper price.
When MLMs price their products too expensively, they are basically shooting themselves in the foot.
People rarely buy products from MLMs because of their infamous reputation as a lookalike pyramid scheme. Other than that, these people are also fed up with all the hunbots messaging them in social media.
This means that when the products are priced beyond a price point that customers are expecting, they will surely turn the other way and buy straight from the mall or shopping center.
I mean, to be practical, why would you still buy from an MLM when more well-known brands are readily available in stores? Also, these brands are already known for their quality, so why buy from somewhere else?
Another thing is, MLMs always take a long time to ship out their products. If you can just pop in your local mall and grab the products you need, it will save you the time and hassle.
Is La Señorita Jolie a Pyramid Scheme?
Since La Señorita Jolie members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that La Señorita Jolie is not a pyramid scheme.
Even if that is the case, La Señorita Jolie is still an MLM, so even though they indeed sell products, recruiting is much more encouraged.
Because of this, La Señorita Jolie looks like a pyramid scheme in disguise.

Like Seint, Stella & Dot, and Vantel Pearls, La Señorita Jolie is not a pyramid scheme.
Is La Señorita Jolie a Scam?
No, La Señorita Jolie is not a scam.
However, even if that is the case, it is not enough basis for you to jump in their affiliate program right away. I suggest doing thorough research first about the company before you even consider joining it.
There are quite a lot of information out there if you know where to look. There are internet forums where users connect and interact with everyday that discusses MLMs, so I suggest you look for those.
Remember that your best sources of information for MLMs are third-party sources because these sources are well-researched, just like this La Señorita Jolie review. We are in no way affiliated with the company so you can be assured that all the information here has no bias towards them.
Another good source of information to look for are testimonials from ex-members and ex-employees. These testimonials will help you know if the company treats its members in a good way.
How to Make Money from La Señorita Jolie
Since La Señorita Jolie is an MLM, there are only two ways to make money with the company. and these are:
- Selling products
- Recruiting members
These two ways are basically it, to be honest. The other ways to get paid are bonuses which you can get by doing the ways stated above.
However, be able to get these bonuses are quite tricky. You would have to recruit people in order to build your downline, and trust me; that is easier said than done.
By doing this, you will be getting commissions from their sales. This is the passive income that MLMs are talking about.
You cannot make passive income by selling the products alone. That takes a lot of time and is definitely not passive.
In MLMs, they do not really give a damn about how many products you sell. What they care about is how many products you buy and how many people you can bring in.
This is sounding more and more like a pyramid scheme, doesn’t it?

La Señorita Jolie Products

According to their website, their products are categorized in the following sections:
- Clothing

Things I Like in La Señorita Jolie
I could not really think of anything good to say about this company. They are your typical fashion MLM.
Things I Dislike in La Señorita Jolie
Expensive Products
This is a big problem when it comes to MLMs because it is the main factor that drives the potential customers away.
From the get-go, you can easily see how expensive the products here are compared to their non-MLM competitors. People are more likely to buy from non-MLMs too because MLMs have become infamous due to their bad reputation.
This is not good for you if you plan to join this MLM. It looks like it’s going to be a major obstacle from the beginning.
Expensive Starter Kits
I don’t think that the products included in their starter kit is worth it, to be honest. Not to mention that you cannot choose what you get either.
You are required to purchase one though to join the company, so brace yourself.
Saturated Market

You will have to compete with this big name brands if you plan to sign up for this company.
Do you think you have what it takes to make the company stand out? I don’t think so, to be honest. The fact that you haven’t heard of them before is even worse.
It seems like La Señorita Jolie does not stand out at all.
Not Enough Information Available
Aside from all these hurdles, there is little to no information available online for this company, which doesn’t help their potential customers and members.
The website has a lot of broken links and it seems like their compensation plan details and income disclosure statements are not available, either.
They should fix this before they drive more people away. People may think that they are shady and have things they want to hide.
Not Listed
La Señorita Jolie is not listed with the Better Business Bureau or with the Direct Sellers Association.
It is an MLM
Well, this should be obvious by now. This is an MLM, which means that a lot of people fail this business venture. In fact, 99% of people who join MLMs fail to make money, and they do not even earn back their initial investment.
Remember that in an MLM, those on the very top find success in the financial failure of those in the very bottom.

Final Verdict – La Señorita Jolie
Before I end this La Señorita Jolie review, I would like to share a few more insights.
Starting a business venture is always a big risk. However, if you want to sign up for an MLM to start a business, then things are vastly different.
Even though MLMs often portray financial success, this is far from the truth. Most people do not make money here. The only ones making money are the owners.
If you think that MLMs mean what they say that “you can be your own boss”, then why do they have a CEO?
MLMs use a “start your own business” scheme because they know that no one will buy their products. This is how they rope people in, by setting them quotas so they will keep on buying.
Ever wonder why MLMs promote people depending on how much they buy and not how much they sell? Because they didn’t care about the members. All they want is to fill their pockets.
If you still think that joining an MLM is a good idea, then I guess it’s all on you.
That’s it for my La Señorita Jolie review. Hopefully this La Señorita Jolie review helps with your decision.
