Max International Review: Legit Health MLM or Scam?

Max International Review: Legit Health MLM or Scam?

Today we will be reviewing a company called Max International. Is Max International a scam? Find out in this Max International review.

Well, even if you are someone who is into fitness, I doubt that you knew that Max International exists. After all, this company is MLM, which explains why it is quite obscure. Also, it seems like the one who brought you here is a hunbot that you encountered in social media, right?

To be honest, you aren’t really the only person that the particular hunbot got in touch with. The long message they sent you is only a series of copy-pasted scripts that were assigned to them by their leaders. Their goal is to send that to as many people as possible and then establish contact with the ones who replied.

If you are intrigued by what Max International is about, then let me give you a little information. That hunbot that talked to you works as hard as they could, but they get little to no money for what they do everyday. Yet, they are promising you a “great opportunity” just by signing up. That sounds a little hypocritical, right?

Before we go further in this Max International review, I will define two terms first: MLM and pyramid scheme.

MLM members make money by selling products and recruiting new members. In pyramid schemes, members could only make money by recruiting people. Pyramid schemes are illegal and banned by the FTC.

As a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with Max International in any way.

Hopefully this Max International review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

Max International is a multi-level marketing company that sells glutathione products. The company was founded in 2006 by Steven Scott. Along with being an entrepreneur, Scott is also an author who has published a lot of best-selling books.

Most of the products they sell have glutathione, so they are referred to as a “glutathione company”. They are also one of the leading brands that develop and research glutathione.

How Do MLMs Work?

In this section, we take a break from talking about the current MLM in question and discuss the ins and outs of MLMs. Most MLMs operate the same way, so this section will help you spot one and avoid them. I continue to stand by my opinion that MLMs are the worst and it’s best to just burn your money instead of joining one.

Let’s talk about how MLMs use the power of lies in order to get people’s money in the scummiest way possible.

I am sure that the reason why you even stumbled in this review in the first place is because you got curious about this so-called great opportunity that a hunbot presented to you. Well, at least you are doing the right thing. Some people just take their word and sign up without doing their research first.

To be honest, a lot of people who join MLMs only see the problems once they are already a member of the company. Some even see the signs way too late, as they are already deep in debt as they tried to stay afloat.

Well, MLMs want to control your spending aspect once you sign up. They want you to follow sales quotas that are way out of your league, and the only way to actually meet those quotas is by buying products ‘for personal use’. However, that doesn’t really make sense because most of the time, people who sign up for MLMs do so because they are broke and need the extra money.

Also, why would you need to follow a quota anyway? It would be much better to learn things at your pace. Well, here is your answer: you are the customer that is keeping the MLM alive.

Is Max International a Pyramid Scheme?

Since Max International members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that Max International is not a pyramid scheme.

However, since Max International is still an MLM, do not expect to make money if you have no plans on recruiting people. Recruiting will earn you significantly more money than actual product selling, and is more encouraged.

This just makes Max International look like a pyramid scheme in disguise, doesn’t it?

Pyramid scheme vs Multi-level marketing

Like Bonvera, Globallee, and Truvy, Max International is not a pyramid scheme.

Is Max International a Scam?

No, Max International is not a scam.

However, if you think this is enough for you to jump in Max International’s so-called opportunity straight away, then I suggest that you hold your horses. This is just the most basic thing, so don’t go signing up for this company right away.

Before making your decision, I suggest that you do a thorough research on the MLM first. You can consult some of the sources I listed below. Take note that you can definitely consult any source you want to, but the sources I listed below are the best kinds to consult, for various reasons listed.

What Sources Should You Look For?

There are three kinds of sources that you can consult when it comes to researching MLMs. There are other kinds of sources, but I believe that these three sources will be of the most help to you.

If you are wondering what the best sources you could consult are, then you are in the right place. After all, the best source is third-party reviews. These reviews, like this Max International review, is well-researched. The facts in this review are gained through hours of thorough research. Also, since those who publish third-party reviews are unaffiliated with any MLM, they only publish facts, whether they are positive or negative.

You can also look for online forums which discuss MLMs. You can easily find a lot of those with a quick search. The most active forums have thousands of members. They actively discuss MLMs, so these people are ready to answer whatever question or inquiry you may have. After all, those forums are established to educate people about the true nature of MLMs anyway.

If you would like to have information about how MLMs actually operate, then I suggest looking at testimonies from people who used to work for them. These testimonies can usually be found in media sharing sites. These people knows a lot of information that the MLMs love to hide, since they have first-hand experience with working on these companies.

How to Make Money from Max International

Since Max International is an MLM, there are only two ways to make money with the company. and these are:

  1. Selling products
  2. Recruiting members

In order to succeed in this MLM, you would need a downline. Most of the ways you can get bonuses and benefits revolve around having an active downline of members. However, being able to establish one is a whole new story, and it is a lot harder than it seems.

You would need to recruit people and have them sign up under you. You should be prepared to teach these people how to pressure customers to buying products. Also, you need these people in order to meet the sales quotas implemented by the company, since they would be directly ordering from you.

In order to get the maximum amount of commissions, you would need more people in your downline. This means that you need to recruit regularly. Once you stop doing so, your earnings would start falling drastically.

Remember that the MLM business model is not sustainable, so as time goes by, you will run out of people to recruit.

MLMs do not really care about how many products you sell. What they care about is how many you buy and how many people you can bring in.

How Much Can You Make?

Surprisingly, Max International publishes an income disclosure statement. You can view it by clicking here. However, take note that this one is found is for the year 2011. Let’s see what we can get from this data.

Turns out that majority of the company’s members belong in the lowest rank called Associate. They comprise of 64.83% of the company. The average monthly commission that Associates earned is $18.14. Take note that this is only the average, so some people made less than that amount.

Have a moment to take that information in. $18.14 per month is very low, and it is way, way less than what an actual job pays. The annual average commission is $227.02, which is just pathetic. Imagine working hard for one whole year and only earning that amount of money.

To be honest, it would have been a lot better if you applied for a part-time job and took freelance gigs. I am definitely sure that you would have made way, way more than that.

So, do you still think that joining Max International is worth it?

Things I Like in Max International

Established Reputation

Well, Max International launched in 2006, which means that they have been in business for 15 years now. That is pretty impressive, because not all MLMs can do that. In fact, the average lifespan of an MLM is only 3 years. Reaching 3 years is already quite a feat, what more when it’s 15?

I guess through their years in business, Max International was able to establish a loyal customer base. After all, this company is pretty profitable since they tapped into something that customers are looking for.

Things I Dislike in Max International

Expensive Products

This is not a new thing when it comes in MLMs. MLMs love to thinking that they are the next big thing, so they can price their products however expensive they want. This doesn’t make sense, however, since people will be less likely to buy if the products cost an arm and a leg.

That aside, Max International’s products could also be found in a lot of other MLMs and non-MLM companies, which makes them look like they aren’t checking prices at all. Of course, people are not willing to pay full price for products they can get cheaper elsewhere.

Saturated Market

The health and wellness niche is very profitable, which explains why there are a lot of MLMs in this niche. Aside from that, there are also a lot of non-MLM companies in this niche, too. Since those companies do actual advertising and proper marketing, people are more aware of them and choose them as their go-to brands.

In Max International’s case, they make no effort to stand out whatsoever, which makes it hard for people to know that they even exist.

This MLM is also competing with the biggest companies in the world, which does nothing in its favor.

It is an MLM

This is an MLM, so it means that a lot of people definitely failed in this venture. In fact, 99% of people who join MLMs fail to make money, and they do not even earn back their initial investment.

Max International Compensation Plan

Here are the ways you can get paid in Max International:

  • Fast Start Income. You get a 10% to 20% bonus for your sales in your first 60 days in the company.
  • Preferred Customer Income. Preferred Customers make 25% bonus for their sales if they reached at least 50 PV.
  • Max Living Bonus. Once you reach the Platinum rank, you can earn $250 to $750.
  • Global Bonus Pool. Once you reach 1,000 PV, you are eligible to share in 1% of the company’s total sales.

Final Verdict – Max International

Before I end this Max International review, I would like to share a few more insights that could help you.

I am glad that you have reached the end of the Max International review. Thank you for reading up until this point. Now, let me repay that with a few more pieces of advice before you go.

It is pretty easy to spot an MLM, to be honest. If someone is offering you a “full-time income for part-time work where you choose your own hours”, then it is definitely an MLM. A lot of people fail to see that because the offer is really quite tempting.

Also, remember that an MLM encourages recruiting more than actual product selling. If you are thinking that all you have to do to be successful in one is by running your own business and selling products, then that is not the case here. If you want to make a lot of money, you need to constantly bring new people in.

In an MLM, the main customers are the members, which is why quotas are implemented and prices are high. They can price their products as expensive as they want, because the members would have to buy them. Are you still thinking that this opportunity is worth all the risk?

I have a better opportunity waiting for you, and all you have to do is scroll down and click it.

That’s it for my Max International review. Hopefully this Max International review helps with your decision.
