Today we will be reviewing a company called Miessence. Is Miessence a scam? Find out in this Miessence review.
I think I know what brought you here today. It’s the prospect of being able to work as your own boss, right? Well, I do not want to burst your bubble this early, but you have been in contact with an MLM. An MLM is basically a business model that relies on both product sales and recruiting. Emphasis on the recruiting part, though.
The way that MLMs market their products is pretty unconventional. They rely on word-of-mouth. Basically, you would not even know that the company exists without someone from the inside telling you about it. They are like an exclusive club that is on an invite-only basis. I guess this is what keeps people interested.
The opportunity they advertise is also quite tempting. Who wouldn’t want the freedom to choose their own work hours and get to experience more time with family, working on hobbies, and even traveling? Anyone would want a job like that.
This Miessence review will answers your questions about the company and MLMs in general, so sit back and relax.
MLM members make money by selling products and recruiting new members. In pyramid schemes, members could only make money by recruiting people. Pyramid schemes are illegal and banned by the FTC.
As a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with Miessence in any way.
Hopefully this Miessence review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

What is Miessence?
Miessence is a multi-level marketing company that sells cosmetics and beauty products. It is based in Australia, and is being managed by a larger company called Organic and Natural Enterprises Pty Ltd (ONE Group). The company was founded in 1999 by Alf Opren and Colin and Narelle Chenery.
Narelle used to manage her own skincare product line, which she started in 1997. This was before she and her husband Colin met Alf Opren. Because of her experience with skincare products, she, Colin, and Alf decided to build a business that sells organic skincare products.
John Hunter joined the company in 2003. He has prior experience in direct-selling, so the company decided to adapt the MLM business model.
Miessence’s products are sold exclusively through their e-commerce platform. The products are also available in different stores in Australia and New Zealand. Of course, you can also buy them from Miessence distributors.
The company sells cruelty-free products and is ACO Certified and USDA organic certified. This means that their products did not undergo any animal testing in the manufacturing process.

How Do MLMs Work?
Before we go further into this Miessence review, let’s talk about MLMs in general. I am sure that this section would be a big help to you, especially if this is the first time you ever encountered an MLM. I have given you the definition of an MLM, but that is merely the textbook definition of what they are.
If you would like to know what I think about MLMs, well, let’s just say that I think that MLMs are the worst and you should never trust them. I suggest that you read this section entirely to know why my opinions are valid.
I have reviewed a lot of MLMs in the past, so I am confident that my knowledge about them are enough to teach you how they operate, and why I am so insistent that you do not trust them.
For one, they lied to you from the very start. They promise you an opportunity to make money, when the truth is people who join MLMs hardly make money. There are quite a lot of sources to back up this statement.
Second, they advertise this opportunity as a job. It is more of a side hustle than a job, honestly. Most of your time will be spent begging your friends and family to buy your products or join the company. No matter how hard you try to make this work, you will fail. Majority of people do. Some even end up deep in debt.
Third, they want you to keep buying products, even if you cannot sell them. Your upline is the one responsible for this behavior, because their earnings are based on how many products their downline orders from them. You, thinking that you can make this work someday, will keep buying products.
Always remember that when it sounds too good to be true, it definitely isn’t.
Is Miessence a Pyramid Scheme?
Since Miessence members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that Miessence is not a pyramid scheme.
However, since Miessence is still an MLM, do not expect to make money if you have no plans on recruiting people. Recruiting will earn you significantly more money than actual product selling, and is more encouraged.
This just makes Miessence look like a pyramid scheme in disguise, doesn’t it?
Is Miessence a Scam?
No, Miessence is not a scam.
However, if you think this is enough for you to jump in Miessence’s so-called opportunity straight away, then I suggest that you hold your horses. This is just the most basic thing, so don’t go signing up for this company right away.
Before making your decision, I suggest that you do a thorough research on the MLM first. You can consult some of the sources I listed below. Take note that you can definitely consult any source you want to, but the sources I listed below are the best kinds to consult, for various reasons listed.
What Sources Should You Look For?
There are three kinds of sources that you can consult when it comes to researching MLMs. There are other kinds of sources, but I believe that these three sources will be of the most help to you.
The best source you can find online is this Miessence review that you are currently reading. These reviews are called third-party reviews, because as the name states, they are published by third-party sources. This website and other review sites are not affiliated with MLMs, so the reviews are definitely impartial and not biased.
Third-party reviews only publish facts that are gained through research. The reviews are thoroughly fact-checked before being published. This means that whatever facts they have, even if it puts the company in a negative light, are included in the reviews.
If you are looking for a community the actively discusses MLMs, then I suggest consulting forums. The biggest forum I was able to find has thousands of active members who post everyday. These people share their research findings to the other forum members and engage in discussions with them.
These people are more than willing to answer any inquiries you may have, so I suggest you check out the forums. Some members have experiences with working with MLMs before, so they have knowledge about the inner workings of these corporations.BONUS: Let's Make Realistic $1000/Month Passive Income This Afternoon,Yes TODAY!(FREE Guide For Smart People)>>
How to Make Money from Miessence
Since Miessence is an MLM, there are two basic ways to make money with the company. and these are:
- Selling products
- Recruiting members
There may be only two basic ways with which you can make money with Miessence, but you have other options that could potentially boost your earnings. MLMs often offer quite a huge variety of benefits that you can qualify for. You can find more details about these bonuses in the compensation plan section of this Miessence review.
However, it is easier said than done to even be qualified for one of those. First off, you need to have an active downline. A downline is basically composed of the people that you personally recruited. If you are wondering why recruiting is heavily encouraged here, well this is the reason.
Being able to run your own business should be your top priority, right? In an MLM, you will have no time for that. Most of your time and effort will go to recruiting, as recruiting will give you more earnings than actual product selling. Sounds like a pyramid scheme.
Remember that the MLM business model is not sustainable, so as time goes by, you will run out of people to recruit.
MLMs do not really care about how many products you sell. What they care about is how many you buy and how many people you can bring in.
Miessence sells the following types of products:
- skincare products
- body and hair care products
- health supplements
How Much Can You Make?
Upon scouring the internet and searching for quite some time, I was not able to recover any file that could reveal any releases of an income disclosure statement from Miessence. I am not surprised by this anymore, though.
If this is your first time here, then let me tell you a bit about what an income disclosure statement is. It is basically a document with accurate data that states how much members of an MLM made in a particular year. It often shows their average monthly income.
To be fair, it seems that most income disclosure statements are pretty consistent in telling people anyway that their earning potential is much, much less than what they were promised. Also, I don’t think that these MLMs even show that to their members. That’s just a hunch, though.
Most of the people that joined MLMs do not even get back their initial investment. It’s just how it is. You cannot make money here.
Things I Like in Miessence
Miessence was founded in 1999, which means that they have been in business for more than two decades. This means that they have far surpassed the average lifespan of an MLM, which is impressive.
I guess all those years in the business paid of. The fact that they are still around means that they are still making profit. They have established a customer base who chooses them.
This is a stance that I definitely stand with. I am a fan of cruelty-free products, as I know how much the Earth has been suffering from the selfishness of humans. Also, it turns out that most of the biggest cosmetics companies do animal testing, which is just a bad business practice for me.
People are more likely to support companies who do not need to resort to such brutal ways just because of their greed. I guess this company is not too bad, after all.
Things I Dislike in Miessence
Recruit, Recruit, Recruit
Well, even though they sell organic products, this company is not a saint. This company pushes its recruitment program more than its selling platform. This move makes them look suspicious, to be honest.
Yes, you can earn money by selling products, but you will earn significantly more if you recruit people. That shouldn’t be the thing happening here.
Miessence sells organic products, but that is not enough to justify how they price their products. I understand that organic products are more expensive, but not as expensive as what this company portrays.
People are willing to pay for high quality products. However, not all of them are willing to pay top money. Most people look at price first before the quality, too.
It is an MLM
This is an MLM, so it means that a lot of people definitely failed in this venture. In fact, 99% of people who join MLMs fail to make money, and they do not even earn back their initial investment.

Final Verdict – Miessence
Before I end this Miessence review, I would like to share a few more insights that could help you.
You may be finished with reading the Miessence review already, but I am sure that you have new questions in mind. I have answered the inquiries you have about this company, so right now I think you are seeking answers about what MLMs really are about. Let me give you a few more bits of advice about them.
I am sure that now that you got a glimpse of how an MLM company functions, you gained some knowledge about them as well. I am glad that I was able to help with that matter. However, I am sure your question is along the lines of “Why do these companies still exist?”.
I don’t think that the world still has a need for MLMs. You can now buy anything online, basically. All you need to do is to know what item you are looking for. Even if it is not available on your country, there are importing services which could help you acquire said item.
The reason why MLMs still exist is because there are still people who believe in their lies. I am not blaming these people though, because it is not a scene to be gullible. I blame the system that does not put MLMs accountable for their false claims and manipulation.
If you are looking for a better opportunity, and then I got one below just for you. Keep on reading to find out.
