Today we will be reviewing a company called Pink Zebra. Is Pink Zebra a scam? Find out in this Pink Zebra review.
If you haven’t heard of Pink Zebra before, well, you are not the only one. Most people haven’t heard of them, either. In fact, the reason why you are here today is to learn more about Pink Zebra, since someone from social media contacted you about it. They probably tried to sell you something or tried to recruit you, right?
Unsurprisingly, hunbots and MLMs have successfully infiltrated social media. Direct sales now has a modern approach where these MLM members need not leave their house anymore to make sales. All they have to do is set up a camera, do a live stream, and wait for people to place their orders. No contact needed.
If you are thinking that MLM members make a lot of money judging by how hard they work, then let me tell right now that you are mistaken.
Well, if you are thinking that this opportunity seems pretty easy to do, then brace yourself as I will be revealing facts about this company in this Pink Zebra review.
Before we go further in this Pink Zebra review, I will define two terms first: MLM and pyramid scheme.
MLM members make money by selling products and recruiting new members. In pyramid schemes, members could only make money by recruiting people. Pyramid schemes are illegal and banned by the FTC.
As a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with Pink Zebra in any way.
Hopefully this Pink Zebra review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

What is Pink Zebra?
Pink Zebra is a multi-level marketing company that sells fragrance-based products. Their product selection includes trinkets, candles, and other products that involves fragrance.

The company was founded in 1999 by Tom and Kelly Gaines. Both of them used to manufacture and supply candles for companies like Pier 1 and Bath and Body Works. In 2010, they started to become a multi-level marketing company.
With their long experience in the industry, they are now an established fragrance-based company with a strong hold on the market.

How Do MLMs Work?
Welcome to the section of the review where we talk about why MLMs are the worst and why I think the FTC should just ban all MLMs from doing business.
Today, let us talk about how MLMs managed to infiltrate social media and how that became a problem for the people they are trying to recruit and sell products to.
I am not against having a side hustle, especially during this time when we are all unsure about what is happening with the economy. However, no other side hustle is as despicable as an MLM.
For one, MLMs are pretty infamous for their reputation of annoying people into blocking their members. Examples of these include spamming an obvious copy-paste script that promise people a great opportunity if they are willing to listen. To be honest, I consider people who haven’t received any of these messages lucky.
Also, have you ever noticed just how manipulative and predatory these MLMs can be? They want you to depend on them despite how undependable they are. This is how they get you to join, by tempting you with all these so-called benefits. Once you are in, you are already too late in seeing that all they care about is money.
Ever wondered why MLMs set monthly quotas that you should meet or they will kick you out? Well, they want to make sure you keep giving them money. They don’t really need dead weight in a company that only wants money. As long as you continue spending in whatever way, you are a great member in their eyes.
They don’t really care whether you can sell those products or not. As long as you have those orders and meet the quota, they don’t care about your sales.
Is Pink Zebra a Pyramid Scheme?
Since Pink Zebra members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that Pink Zebra is not a pyramid scheme.
However, since Pink Zebra is still an MLM, do not expect to make money if you have no plans on recruiting people. Recruiting will earn you significantly more money than actual product selling, and is more encouraged.
This just makes Pink Zebra look like a pyramid scheme in disguise, doesn’t it?

Like Stemtech, My Daily Choice, and Enzacta, Pink Zebra is not a pyramid scheme.
Is Pink Zebra a Scam?
No, Pink Zebra is not a scam.
However, if you think this is enough for you to jump in Pink Zebra’s so-called opportunity straight away, then I suggest that you hold your horses. This is just the most basic thing, so don’t go signing up for this company right away.
Before making your decision, I suggest that you do a thorough research on the MLM first. You can consult some of the sources I listed below. Take note that you can definitely consult any source you want to, but the sources I listed below are the best kinds to consult, for various reasons listed.
What Sources Should You Look For?
There are three kinds of sources that you can consult when it comes to researching MLMs. There are other kinds of sources, but I believe that these three sources will be of the most help to you.
When it comes to researching about MLM, I believe that third-party reviews provide the most in-depth information. These reviews require thorough research to write about, so you can be assured that these reviews only bring facts to the table. Also, they are unaffiliated with the companies they are writing about, like this Pink Zebra review you are reading. Third-party reviews contain no bias, and only facts.
If you are the type who likes sharing insights with others, then I suggest looking at internet forums. Most forums that discuss MLMs are pretty active. You can gain valuable information by reading posts from members who do their own research, and interact to them about it. As these forums are being updated regularly, you can be assured that you get the most recent data with every visit.
If these two sources are not convincing enough for you, then you can look for testimonies from ex-members. There are a lot of them available online, and they come in many forms of media. As long as you know where to look, you can find them. These people have first-hand experience with working for MLMs, so they have valuable knowledge to share, with some of them not being publicly known.
How to Make Money from Pink Zebra
Since Pink Zebra is an MLM, there are only two ways to make money with the company. and these are:
- Selling products
- Recruiting members
Take note that these primary ways are only the most basic of ways to get earnings from Pink Zebra. There are other ways to get paid, and they come in the form of bonuses and benefits. Being able to qualify for them is a whole new story, though.
For starters, you would have to build a downline, and that involves recruiting members. They make it seem like you can ask anyone to sign up under you and they will agree immediately. Well, it isn’t that easy. In fact, recruiting is the hardest task in an MLM.
You will be paid commissions for the products that your downline sells, which means it is passive income. As long as you continue to bring more people in and they actively buy products, you can see yourself making a lot of money.
Remember that the MLM business model is not sustainable, so as time goes by, you will run out of people to recruit.
MLMs do not really care about how many products you sell. What they care about is how many you buy and how many people you can bring in.

How Much Can You Make?
Well, Pink Zebra does not publish an income disclosure statement. I guess we don’t really have enough data with work with to speculate how much people actually make in this company.
I don’t really get why MLMs hide this vital information from their potential members. It’s pretty simple to publish one, really. It’s a document that is only one-page long.
I guess it’s glaringly obvious that the real reason that MLMs refuse to publish this is because they are feeling ashamed of the real figures. Unsurprisingly, MLMs are not really the ticket to riches and success.
However, just hiding this from people just makes it look like Pink Zebra is guilty. Well, I won’t blame them. I’d feel ashamed if people do not really make as much money as I promised them.
Things I Like in Pink Zebra
Established Company Reputation
Pink Zebra has been in the business for more than ten years now. In fact, they started as a small business that manufactures and supplies products to bigger companies. This means that even before becoming an MLM, they already know how to properly run a business.
It’s pretty impressive how Pink Zebra managed to stay in the business for this long, considering that they have a lot of competitors. Also, MLMs have an average lifespan of only three years. Surpassing that, and going for as long as ten years is quite a commendable feat.
This means that Pink Zebra continues to be profitable, and that they have managed to establish a loyal customer base.
Things I Dislike in Pink Zebra
Saturated Market
There are quite a lot of companies selling the same products as Pink Zebra. Most of them are available readily in malls, kiosks, and thrift stores. To be honest, most of Pink Zebra’s products are available in any store that sells fragrance and candles.
I don’t really see Pink Zebra standing out compared to those. To be honest, I haven’t heard of anyone I know who likes candles and only buys them from Pink Zebra. People I know who are into home fragrance buy from malls or independent sellers.
Well, since products are readily available from those sellers, it is a no-brainer that people will choose them. Also, people do not trust MLMs because of their infamous reputation.
Products are Hard to Sell
Well, not everyone really cares about home fragrance products. I, for one, only buy a can of Lysol every six months. Pink Zebra’s products aren’t really a necessity, and besides, some people do not really want to have their houses smell like cinnamon and dreams.
Also, for the people who actually buy these stuff, they don’t really need to use them everyday. People buy scented candles and even wait months to use them. Pink Zebra cannot really count on repeat purchases.
Candles and home fragrance are not really a part of a regular person’s budget.
It is an MLM
This is an MLM, so it means that a lot of people definitely failed in this venture. In fact, 99% of people who join MLMs fail to make money, and they do not even earn back their initial investment.

Final Verdict – Pink Zebra
Before I end this Pink Zebra review, I would like to share a few more insights that could help you.
It may be the end of my Pink Zebra review, but I’d like to share about a few more insights about MLMs in general. As someone who has reviewed and researched about a lot of them, I think I have enough knowledge to stand by an opinion that I strongly believe in: Do not join an MLM.
It may seem tempting at the start, but it is designed to be that way. MLMs usually lure new members in who are tempted by paying the bare minimum to start a small business. Little did they know that once they sign up, bad things will begin happening.
For one, you may be tempted by an MLM because you may think that they already built a brand and they have loyal customers, so it must be easy to sell products.
Wrong. If you are joining an MLM to start your business, then I am telling you to turn back right now. You cannot earn money here if you are not planning to recruit people.
MLMs are obscure, so people do not know they exist. You have to do a lot of work to advertise and market this company. And guess what? You don’t get a dime from doing all that work.
There are a lot of better opportunities out there, if you know where to look.
That’s it for my Pink Zebra review. Hopefully this Pink Zebra review helps with your decision.
