Pomifera MLM Review: Pyramid Scheme or Scam?

Today we will be reviewing a company called Pomifera. Is Pomifera a pyramid scheme or scam? Find out in this Pomifera MLM review.

You probably have not heard of this company before, which is not so surprising.

Pomifera is a fairly new MLM that just launched this year.

Other than that, its pretty much like your standard skincare MLM.

You probably have no idea that this company exists, but someone from social media messaged you about it.

I could only thing of two reasons as to why someone would message you about Pomifera.

First, they are trying to sell Pomifera products to you.

Second, they are trying to recruit you to join their downline in the company.

Most of the time, it is because of both reasons.

As much as we hate to admit it, we cannot escape from the grasp of MLM’s any longer.

MLMs have started taking their businesses in social media, and it does not look like they plan to leave anytime soon.

Before we proceed with this Pomifera MLM review, we should clarify two terms first: MLM and pyramid scheme.

Pyramid schemes are downright illegal and are banned by the FTC.

MLMs operate the same way as pyramid schemes, but somehow, they are still legal.

MLMs sell products, while pyramid schemes do not.

You will be seeing these two terms a lot in this review.

As a disclaimer, I am in no way affiliated with Pomifera.

Hopefully this Pomifera MLM review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

My #1 Recommendation

What is Pomifera?

Pomifera is a multi-level marketing company that sells skincare products.

Pomifera MLM Review - Pomifera products

Lindsay Colombe and Todd Johnson founded the company on February 2020.

“Simple. Honest. Humble.”

That’s the slogan of Pomifera.

I have reviewed other skincare MLMs before, like Usana, Seacret, and Jeunesse.

So how do you think can Pomifera stand out against all those competition?

On Pomifera’s About page in their website, it says that Todd Johnson discovered Pomifera Oil.

Pomifera Oil is oil that was extracted from Osage oranges.

If you do not know what those are, then this is what an Osage orange looks like.

Apparently, the fruit extract is very good for the skin.

At least, that is what the company is making it seem.

You can watch this video to learn more about Pomifera.

The company is currently based in Iowa, United States.

About the Owner – Lindsay Colombe

I did a quick search about the company’s owners and I found some rather interesting facts about Lindsay Colombe.

Lindsay was one of the top-ranked leaders in LimeLife, another MLM.

Before she started her business with LimeLife, she was in Younique.

You can watch this video she made about why she left Younique.

https://youtu.be/B1tX5-E_pyA

From what she said in the video, her rank in Younique is also pretty high.

This makes me wonder, however.

Why would she leave an MLM when her rank is already high and start again from the very bottom in a new MLM?

I guess this tells us that even those at the top ranks in MLMs struggle to make an income when the company they are in start to expand.

If that is the case, imagine what could be happening to those people in the lowest ranks.

How Do MLMs Work?

Welcome to the section where we talk about some of my insights regarding MLMs.

I have reviewed a lot of MLM companies, so I am quite aware of a lot of their tactics by now.

Today, let us talk about how outrageously overpriced MLM products are.

To be honest, this is one of the things that does not make sense to me.

MLMs are already obscure on their own.

You would not really hear that certain MLM companies exist unless someone who is a part of it tells you that they are indeed in business.

MLMs want to recruit as much members as possible to peddle their products.

Furthermore, these people are in charge of marketing and advertising the company.

The reason why MLMs get a lot of income every year is because they save on advertising costs.

Advertising is quite expensive, especially these days.

Your ad has to be extra attractive in order to gain customers.

Other than that, you also have a lot of competitors advertising on the same platform.

Let’s go back to the issue at hand.

When it comes to pricing products, of course people want prices to be as low as possible.

This is why websites like AliExpress continue to make profit.

As much as we hate to admit it, we have all bought bootleg products before.

The reason why is because of the cheap price.

Well, in this case, MLMs are already way too obscure.

With expensive prices, it is quite hard to find people willing to try the products.

I do not get why MLMs do this because they are already making a lot of profit.

A cheaper price would surely bring in more customers, right?

Not to mention that MLM products rarely differ from products that we can easily buy in malls and online.

Not everyone wants to buy from MLMs too, so that is an added obstacle to people who just want to make extra money.

You can watch this video below of a YouTuber reviewing various MLM products.

Is Pomifera a Pyramid Scheme?

Since Pomifera members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that Pomifera is not a pyramid scheme.

Even though that is the case, Pomifera is still an MLM.

Recruiting members is much more encouraged than actual selling of products.

You will also earn significantly more from recruiting.

This makes Pomifera look like a pyramid scheme in disguise.

Pyramid scheme vs Multi-level marketing

Like Thirty One Gifts, Infinitus, and VeloVita, Pomifera is not a pyramid scheme.

Is Pomifera a Scam?

No, Pomifera is not a scam.

However, do not forget that the company is still fairly new, which could explain why we have little information to base this claim for.

I found this video, and I think you should watch it before deciding if you want to join Pomifera or not.

This video will tell you information that Pomifera might be hiding from you.

Other than that, it comes from a third-party source that is also not affiliated with the company, just like this Pomifera MLM review.

With that in mind, we can conclude that this is reliable information.

I advise that you do your own research when it comes to MLM companies.

Browse forums like Reddit where people can freely share information.

Most of the time, you will learn things that the company refuses to tell you.

Another good source of information are testimonials from ex-members.

These people have experienced what working in the MLM is like firsthand.

They would be able to tell you if the company actually values its members or not.

How to Make Money from Pomifera

Since Pomifera is an MLM, there are two option available to make money with the company. and these are:

  1. Selling products
  2. Recruiting members

Other than these, you can also reap exclusive benefits as you rank up in the company.

Well, the question is, how do you rank up?

You cannot rank up from selling alone.

To be honest, the company rarely cares about how many products you sell.

What they care about is how many you buy, and how many new people you bring in.

If you are looking for a passive income stream, then it will come from the people you recruit.

You will receive commissions from their sales, so basically, they are working under you.

Things I Like in Pomifera

Cheap to Start

Without a doubt, this is the first thing I noticed.

Most companies charge hundreds of dollars in registration fee, and a separate cost for the starter packs.

In Pomifera, registration fee and the starter pack costs $99.

Sure, it is still not free, but it is a one-time only fee.

Simple Compensation Plan

This is one of things I want to praise Pomifera for.

I am so used to lengthy compensation plans that confuse their customers.

The companies behind those are deliberately doing it too.

In Pomifera, it is simple, brief, and all the details are explained with simple, understandable terms.

Things I Dislike in Pomifera

The Owner, Basically

I talked about Lindsay earlier, one of the owners of Pomifera.

The fact that she went from one MLM to another and eventually starting her own company is just quite shady, if you ask me.

Starting your own company is quite impressive, I know that.

But the fact that she went from one MLM to another just paints a whole new picture for me.

If she is in the top ranks of those companies already, why did she leave?

Didn’t MLMs repeatedly claim that those who work hard need not worry when it comes to money?

I guess the reason is because Lindsay just isn’t making as much as what she was promised anymore.

Other than that, there are also people who say a lot of bad things about her.

Maybe her downline disliked her management style?

Saturated Market

Skincare brands

The problem with this MLM is that they are venturing in a niche where there are already thousands, or even millions, competing in it.

How do you think can Pomifera stand out with all these competition?

Not to mention that a lot of established brands already exist.

Do you think people would choose Pomifera over big companies and famous brands?

Yeah, I don’t think so either.

Fairly New MLM

Well, this MLM just launched this year.

So when it comes to questions about its stability, then I guess we cannot answer that yet.

It might close down because of what I said above – tough competition.

Most people think that joining a new MLM early would mean that they could easily rank up.

I, on the other hand, beg to differ.

What if it is all a scam?

The ones running the company can run away with your money anytime.

It is an MLM

In order to make a profit, you will need to keep recruiting new people.

In the process, you will also be the one recruiting and training your own competition.

If you want to reap benefits by ranking up, this is the best way to do it.

The company does not care about your sales as long as you give them money.

This is why most MLMs want you to buy products with your own money first before you could sell them.

My Favorite Program

Final Verdict – Pomifera

Before I end this Pomifera MLM review, I have a few more thoughts I would like to share.

If you are looking for a way to make extra cash, then an MLM is not the answer.

You might think that joining an MLM is a good idea because they promise you all sorts of stuff.

They promise that you can make money from your own home, that you can be your own boss, and that you can spend more time with your kids.

However, how much of what they said do you think is true?

MLMs know their way with words.

They know the right words to say in order to recruit someone into joining.

Do not be swayed by them.

MLMs just want to take your money, drain your savings, and drown you in debt.

Are you ready to face those consequences?

Just stay away from MLMs.

That’s it for my Pomifera MLM review. Hopefully this Pomifera MLM review helps with your decision.
