Power Gauge Report Review: Quick Details

What is Power Gauge Report?

Power Gauge Report Review - Logo

In a nutshell, Marc Chaikin’s Power Gauge Report is a quantifiable instrument that evaluates a company’s success using a set of 20 predetermined parameters. Moreover, it tells you if it thinks the stock is:

  • Very Bullish
  • Bullish
  • Neutral
  • Bearish
  • Very Bearish

Together with the Chaikin Money Flow and Relative Strength technical indicators, this is the primary method by which Marc selects stocks.

At the beginning of each month, Marc will propose a new business that the system is “bullish” on, and he will provide a detailed write-up of that firm in the newsletter to explain his reasoning.

Furthermore, he explains in plain English how the Power Gauge ratings correspond with the firm he is suggesting.

Marc does not simply recommend a stock that he loves; rather, he describes the rating the system has given the stock, his reasoning for recommending it, and other pertinent information.

In addition, you have access to the software application at any time, and may enter the ticker yourself if you’re curious.

The member’s section also includes special reports that highlight certain stocks he loves, a model portfolio that details all of his current recommendations, and a welcome letter that explains how to get started.

Power Gauge Report is pretty much the same as Bot Trading Mastery, Stock Navigators, and The 1k Club.

Pricing

The annual subscription normally costs $199, but you can subscribe at a discount thanks to a campaign he was doing in conjunction with his “financial reset in 2023” presentation, during which new subscribers could get access to the Power Gauge Report for only $49.

You receive a monthly newsletter and portfolio, which is standard for the stock advisers I have previously reviewed already. The primary distinction is that the Power Gauge Report now includes a comprehensive stock rating function.

Power Gauge Ratings System

Power Pulse, the program that includes the Power Gauge ratings, is accessible in a distinct portion of the website reserved for members, and it may be used to research and compare the performance of more than five thousand publicly traded firms and exchange-traded funds.

Simply enter the name of the stock you wish to research, and the system will provide its rating if it is in the database.

Overall, Power Gauge assigns a score based on the four factors—Financials, Earnings, Technicals, and Experts—identified by Chaikin Analytics.

Five measures are utilized to evaluate each firm across these four categories, for a total of twenty metrics that can help you uncover great stocks.

Marc Chaikin claims that the “Chaikin Money Flow” and “Relative Strength” indicators used in his approach serve as “timing metrics” that aid in stock selection.

Metrics

Financials

The “Financials” statistic is meant to be used in conjunction with other measures to assess the company’s financial standing and market value.

  • Long-term Debt to Equity
  • Price to Book
  • Return on Equity
  • Price to Sales
  • Free Cash Flow

Earnings

For the Earnings metric, it takes the following variables into account:

  • Earnings Growth
  • Earnings Surprise
  • Earnings Trend
  • Projected P/E
  • Earnings Consistency

Technicals

For the “Technicals” metric, it involves the following:

  • Relative Strength vs Market
  • Chaikin Money Flow
  • Price Strength
  • Price Trend ROC
  • Volume Trend

Experts

Lastly, here is what the “Experts” metric measures for you:

  • Estimate Trend
  • Short Interest
  • Insider Activity
  • Analyst Rating Trend
  • Industry Rel. Strength

Is Marc Chaikin Legit?

Power Gauge Report Review - Marc Chaikin

Marc Chaikin, founder of Chaikin Analytics, has spent 40 years on Wall Street as a “trader, stockbroker, analyst, and head of the options department for a large brokerage firm,” as stated on the company’s website.

As the website points out, Marc has been working on “computerized stock selection algorithms and technical indicators” for well over half a century.

Notwithstanding the fact that it is difficult to corroborate Marc’s claims, his resume is impressive and second to none in the field. So, it may be concluded that he is the real deal.

Marc Chaikin is, without a doubt, one of the most prominent investing experts in the world.

Marc retired in 2000 and spent some time relaxing before launching Chaikin Analytics (previously known as Chaikin Power Tools) in 2011. The company’s mission is to “convey his knowledge to regular investors.”

The Chaikin Analytics website has been up and running for well over a decade, but the Power Gauge Report service we’ve been discussing has just been operational since late 2021.

Besides, it offers a wide variety of additional services for purchase.

Marc asserts that, during the course of his career, he has made several correct forecasts of market peaks and troughs and of specific equities.

A recent presentation on his website chaikinanalytics.com, for instance, boasts that he “predicted the 2020 crisis,” “warned a bear market was coming” in April 2022, and “survived and even flourished” through a number of previous bear markets.

Now what does he foresee?

In the same talk, Marc predicts “a historic financial reset in 2023” and warns that the stock market declines might grow even worse.

I can’t say for sure if what he’s forecasting will come true or not.

Although though Marc Chaikin is a credible expert with years of experience and what seems to be a successful track record, following his advice or using his stock rating method is no guarantee of financial gain.

Final Verdict – Power Gauge Report Review

In my opinion, the Power Gauge (or “Power Pulse”) tool alone is worth the whole $49 price tag. The “bullish” and “bearish” ratings it spits out are merely a guide, so I wouldn’t advocate blindly adopting it. Nonetheless, it is quite thorough.

All you have to do is enter any stock ticker and obtain an almost immediate summary of the 20 metrics Chaikin Analytics uses to analyze the firm.

In spite of its limitations, it does provide information on more than 5,000 different stocks. What I can tell is that the data is regularly updated.

The reports and newsletters are really useful, as they include a wealth of information explaining why Marc Chaikin recommends a certain investment. And he ties it all together using the data from the Power Gauge rating.

Also, you will receive a collection of research papers that focus on the firms that Marc Chaikin suggests.

So, in my opinion, the Power Gauge Report is pretty legit, and if you can get it at a discounted price, then it is worth it.

Is it supposed to guarantee financial success for you? Nope, not all. After all, you won’t find a service anywhere else that will guarantee that.

Except perhaps for my top recommendation. The details for that are outlined below, so make sure to keep reading.
