What is Proven Amazon Course?
Proven Amazon Course is a course which teaches how to start an online business as a seller on the Amazon platform.
Well, I have reviewed a fair number of Amazon FBA courses in this blog, and I don’t see that stopping anytime soon. There are just a lot of them in the market, and actually, there are more new ones being released than I can keep up with.
PAC claims that it is unique from other Amazon FBA courses as it covers different topics and discuss multiple strategies when it comes to selling on Amazon.
I am not too sure about that, as I have reviewed some courses that also do the same thing. I think PAC just marketed itself as something unique so that people will be interested in it.
Who is Jim Cockrum?
Jim Cockrum is that one who founded Proven Amazon Course. He runs several online businesses which have racked up millions in profit. He has also helped thousands of people to start and grow online businesses since 2000.
Since 2002, Jim has been working from home. He has been enjoying the freedom of having an internet lifestyle ever since. He runs a free newsletter called CES News, which has over 100,000 subscribers.
Jim has appeared in publications such as the Wall Street Journal and Men’s Health Magazine. Along with that, he actively hosts a weekly radio program which is called Creative Internet Income Strategies.
He has also published a bestseller book titled The Silent Sales Machine. It is a book about how to succeed in internet marketing.
Proven Amazon Course Overview
The course does not only teach Amazon FBA, but also topics such as setting up an online store on Shopify as well as accounting practices.
Jim Cockrum, the creator of PAC, has a pretty decent track record in the digital industry. The course includes video tutorials, PDFs, webinars, as well as other useful resources.

Is Proven Amazon Course a Scam?
No, PAC is not a scam. It is a legitimate course. However, I have a few qualms about them.
The course is not really made for beginners. The course includes quite a lot of content, meaning that it can be overwhelming for rookies who are trying to learn the trade.
This means that you are going to be surrounded with loads of information. You might not be able to properly decide which strategies can work for you, and which ones you should employ in your business.
Another thing is that some core content are not updated since 2018. Take note that a lot of things have changed during the pandemic, which means that the strategies being taught in the course are possibly outdated by now.
Even if you need to pay thousands to access the course, you might have to turn to the internet after all to get better resources. That’s a bummer.
FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) Explained
Because the notion of the business model is rather simple to grasp, I believe a brief overview will be okay. This part of the Proven Amazon Course review will explain to you how the business works.
You contact a supplier for the items you want to outsource, and they’re delivered to an Amazon warehouse. Using the internet portal, you can effortlessly keep track of your store’s inventory.
When a consumer orders a product from your online shop, Amazon fills the order by fetching goods from your warehouse inventory and delivering them to the customer.
Because product normally takes up a lot of space, this business strategy eliminates the need to own and rent a warehouse at an excessive cost. You’ll also save money on shipping because Amazon will handle everything for you.
Why I Don’t Recommend Amazon FBA
According to my study, normal profit percentages are about 10%, which is a very low figure. Keep in mind that these statistics are based on experienced vendors’ earnings; beginners’ earnings would be far lower.
Prepare yourself since it looks that the competition will be tough. Keep in mind that the platform is quite competitive. You’ll need to put in a lot of effort to separate yourself out from the competitors.

Even better, I advocate creating a part-time business that just takes up a little amount of your time.
Price Wars
People are more likely to buy on sale because they feel they are getting a good bargain.
If one store runs a sale, the others must follow suit. If they don’t, all of the earnings will go to that one store.
To maintain your profit margins, you’ll almost surely have to cut product costs. When you decide to cut corners in the production process, the quality of the final product typically suffers as a result.
Very Little Quality Control
If you want to outsource your merchandise, you won’t be able to do a complete analysis of the quality. This means you won’t be able to check to see whether they meet your requirements. Is the product of high quality, and how long will it last? Is the price you’re asking for it reasonable?
It’s common knowledge that mass-produced items, particularly those from China, are of poor quality. Keep in mind that low-cost items are often mass-produced, making quality monitoring difficult.
In addition, if your supplier sends out damaged or faulty products, your customers will almost surely demand a refund and leave a poor review.
Saturated Market
There are already far too many vendors fighting for clients on Amazon’s marketplace. The things you want to offer are almost probably on the market and accessible from other merchants.
As a result, buyers are more likely to forget about your brand.
The odds are stacked against you even before you begin selling. It’s tough to stand out on a platform with so many experienced sellers, and it’s nearly impossible, in my opinion, to tap into a niche they’ve never heard of.
Long Startup Time
Before you can begin selling on Amazon, you must first complete a number of time-consuming and difficult tasks. It takes a lot of time and effort to set up your business, locate suppliers, and advertise it. It might take months, if not a year, to start earning money.
Why I Don’t Recommend Proven Amazon Course
The content of PAC is pretty mediocre, meaning that you can easily find them online. I just see no reason why you have to pay for a course when there are better resources in the internet that is available for free.
Another thing is that the course is just way too expensive. I am not really a fan of courses which cost thousands, especially when there are sites like Domestika which offer lifetime access to courses which you can purchase for less than what PAC wants to charge you.
You also do not get any technical support whatsoever here. Take note that as a beginner, you will probably need to have that. You are simply left without a proper support network once you decide to enroll to PAC.
Also, I simply don’t recommend Amazon FBA as a business. It is way too tedious and complicated for a beginner who just wants a side hustle.

Final Verdict – Proven Amazon Course
Before I end this Proven Amazon Course review, I would like to share a few more insights that could help you.
I can’t suggest Amazon FBA as a business opportunity for a number of reasons, which I’m sure I’ve previously said already. This isn’t as easy as it appears, and you’ll need to grasp a few difficult concepts first.
Before you begin selling on Amazon, be sure you’re ready to do it for a long time. It’s not as straightforward as listing your products on Amazon and then hunting for a supplier that can fulfill your order. Due to the huge amount of daily responsibilities, a one-man team would be fairly ineffective.
Even if you don’t handle your item inventory directly, you’ll have to spend a lot of money to market your business because you’ll be running several ads to promote it. Advertising, particularly on social media, is pretty expensive.
It is just not worth the time and effort since the return on investment is so low. It’s not worth it as a side hustle.
A decent side business, in my opinion, is one that you can perform in your spare time. Simply said, preparing this business takes a lot of time, therefore it’s not a smart side business to start.
However, I am aware of a fantastic side hustle that does not need a significant amount of time or money. It also does not need knowledge of several complex business principles. The next section has further information about this subject.
