A lot of real estate agents are always on the lookout for leads in their area. Because, without any leads, they aren’t going to make a commission. How could you help a client buy a property when there aren’t really any properties being listed in the market? Sometimes, generating leads can be a difficult process. One day, you hear about somebody who wants help putting up a listing for their property. The next day, you hear back from them saying that they don’t want their properties to be listed anymore. People often flipflop in their decisions. So a lot of real estate agents often go back to square one.
There have been a lot of different companies that offer real estate-related lead generation services. It is a very small part within the larger real estate industry. But they play such a big part in it. There is a lot of competition within this subset of the industry. Though not every single one of them is cut from the same cloth. They have very different approaches in how they generate leads. And it is often those from the larger companies, like Opcity, that stand out on top.
It is interesting to see how the other lead generation services out there in the real estate industry differentiates themselves from the competition. Like, they’re all working with roughly the same groups of people. But sometimes a number of them choose one over the other. I genuinely wonder how Qazzoo stacks up to the other lead generation companies that exist in this industry. Is their services better than what you get from the larger companies? - Recommendation: Turning leads into actual sales is an arduous process. While it is possible that the leads that you get from Qazzoo are genuine, it is not guaranteed that every single lead that you get would turn into a successful transaction.
Who is Michael Urbanski?
Michael Urbanski is the founder and CEO of Qazzoo, a real estate lead generation platform.
There is not a lot of things that you should know about with regards to Michael Urbanski. Prior to founding Qazzoo, Michael found a digital marketing agency called Heavy Hammer. What is fun to know about Heavy Hammer is that Michael and his team patented a lot of different software-based systems that focuses on geographical advertising. All of them can be viewed from the official website for the U.S. Patent and Trademark office.
Aside from running a digital marketing agency, Michael Urbanski was also an air traffic controller for the United States Air Force. I guess after his time at the Air Force, Michael went on to run his own restaurant. What shocked me the most about his career is that he also ran his own entertainment company called Blue Omega Entertainment from 2003 to 2009. There weren’t really a lot of things that his entertainment company made. Michael produced two horror movies and a video game. Apparently, the massive failure of the video game lead to that company shutting down.
It’s insane to think that Michael Urbanski has had such a vastly wild career. I still couldn’t believe that he had done so many things in his lifetime. The way that his biography on the Heavy Hammer website oversells his run as the owner of an entertainment company is interesting though. To quote:
[Urbanski] has written, produced and directed several award winning feature films and top tier video games.
The reviews definitely beg to differ on his video game being referred to as “top tier.” But I guess you have to embellish a bit to make your biography sound better than it is. It is interesting that he kind of settled on running companies that are mostly based online. I guess his career in entertainment definitely helped lead to that.

What is Qazzoo?
Qazzoo is an online lead generation platforms that connects real estate agents with potential leads want to buy or sell a home. In a press release that was put out in 2012, the year that Qazzoo was founded, the company refers to itself as a “reverse search engine.” You are probably wondering what they mean by that exactly. We will get to that in just a little bit. But first, we are going to talk a little bit about lead generation.
Lead generation is a process where a business makes itself know to consumers to drum up interest for a product or service that they provide. This process is intended to turn that interest from the consumers into actual sales. Marketing plays such a big part in a business’s success. How would your business succeed if people don’t know about you and your business?
Leads, with regards to the real estate industry, are those that are either looking for homes to buy or those that are looking to get their homes listed in the market. You can’t really have one without the other. Both of them are widely sought after within the industry.
In the case of Qazzoo, they remove a lot of the guesswork when it comes to generating leads. It is basically a way for real estate agents and brokers to find the people who are buying and/or selling a home so that they could help them do exactly that. That is pretty much what you will get out of Qazzoo. No, seriously, that’s it.
It’s a search engine and a social media platform rolled into one. But it’s details about the people who are looking to buy or sell a property. Each profile includes the person’s location, credit history, income range as well as what kind of property they’re looking for, the price range that they’re willing to spend on and the price range that they want to sell their property for. The profiles also include the buyer or seller’s contact information.
Once you know the contact information, you pretty much talk to them to hash out any details. And that’s it.
Now, let’s talk about. The cost for the service to access Qazzoo is a monthly fee worth $399 and an onboarding fee worth $500. You will get credits that you can use to unlock information about a lead. Apparently, the monthly subscription gives you an initial number of 15 credits each month. But you can get more credits if you want to. And if you don’t want to use up any credits, you can downgrade to a monthly subscription worth $249 just so that you can still get access to the platform.

Final Verdict – Qazzoo Review
There is very little reason for me to recommend Qazzoo. The platform itself looks decent enough, albeit a bit outdated. But there’s nothing really much else going for it. As I have mentioned in the previous section, you have to pay a monthly fee worth $399 to get credits that you can use to unlock information about the leads being show in the search results. What’s insane about it is that you will also have to pay a one-time payment of $500 on top of that just for signing up to the service.
Even though that there are going to be leads in the search results, it is not guaranteed that it will lead to a closed transaction in the end. People can be indecisive. You never really know if your lead is good or not until you start talking to them. The problem is that you are going to use up a lot of credits to find a decent lead on the Qazzoo platform. And from the sign up page for the platform, you can hand pick a total of 15 clients from the $399 monthly fee that you pay them.
Another insane thing about it is that Qazzoo requires that you have an active membership in order to keep using the platform. It sort of makes sense that you have to keep paying to get access. But they will charge you $249 a month just so that you could keep your membership to the platform active. All of the credits that you have not used will still be available on your account. But you won’t be getting any new ones because those are tied to the $399 monthly subscription.
