Today we will be reviewing a company called Rain International. Is Rain International a scam? Find out in this Rain International review.
The main reason why you are here today is because you are intrigued by what a hunbot from Rain International told you. Here you are, working hard on a job, but you feel like you need more money to boost your earnings. I can’t blame you there. Judging by the state of the world these days, we ordinary people are always on edge about our jobs because of the uncertainty of the future.
Well, I think you assume that the hunbot who reached out to you must be making a lot of money. Browsing through their profile seems to support their statements about financial success and being their own boss. Behind the scenes are a whole new different truth, though.
However, I suggest that you read on further with this Rain International review to find out about how the company operates, how much you can make if you decide to join, and if this opportunity is even worth your time. You’ll be surprised.
Before we go further in this Rain International review, I will define two terms first: MLM and pyramid scheme.
MLM members make money by selling products and recruiting new members. In pyramid schemes, members could only make money by recruiting people. Pyramid schemes are illegal and banned by the FTC.
As a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with Rain International in any way.
Hopefully this Rain International review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

What is Rain International?
Rain International is a multi-level marketing company that sells health and wellness products. They specialize on seed-based products, which they claim to be beneficial in promoting the well-being of their consumers.

The company was founded in 2011 by Byron Belka, who is an entrepreneur. There isn’t much information online regarding Belka, but from what I found, he has a decade-worth of experience with MLMs. He was involved in Nu Skin as well. The current base of the company’s operations is Utah, United States.

How Do MLMs Work?
Welcome to the section where I talk about why I think MLMs are the worst, why I think MLMs should be banned by the FTC, and why it’s better to look for another opportunity than join an MLM.
Today, let’s talk about why society has no more need for MLMs anymore.
Back then, the only option for people to buy goods are by going to the market or shops. Then, malls came to be. Malls became a hot destination, since there are different kinds of stores in there. A mall is basically a one-stop shop.
However, there are stuff that you cannot get from malls back then. That is why direct sales became a hit. Most of the products being sold are unique, and most of them are things that are quite hard to get a hold of.
Nowadays, we have moved on from that. Almost everything is available online now. You can survive as long as you have an internet connection and a device. You can buy everything from food, services, and personal products. Some websites even offer premium subscriptions for people who shop online a lot.
Well, I guess at this point we have no more need for MLMs. It is very easy to buy stuff online now. Also, most online stores love having sales, which can save you money if you buy stuff in bulk. All you need to do is to add stuff to your cart, checkout, provide your shipping address, and that’s it.
If you are here today wanting to seek validation about joining an MLM, then it should be obvious by now that I do not recommend it. Times have changed. People know what they want and where they could buy them.
Is Rain International a Pyramid Scheme?
Since Rain International members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that Rain International is not a pyramid scheme.
However, since Rain International is still an MLM, do not expect to make money if you have no plans on recruiting people. Recruiting will earn you significantly more money than actual product selling, and is more encouraged.
This just makes Rain International look like a pyramid scheme in disguise, doesn’t it?

Like Uforia Science, Trivita, and Pink Zebra, Rain International is not a pyramid scheme.
Is Rain International a Scam?
No, Rain International is not a scam.
However, if you think this is enough for you to jump in Rain International’s so-called opportunity straight away, then I suggest that you hold your horses. This is just the most basic thing, so don’t go signing up for this company right away.
Before making your decision, I suggest that you do a thorough research on the MLM first. You can consult some of the sources I listed below. Take note that you can definitely consult any source you want to, but the sources I listed below are the best kinds to consult, for various reasons listed.
What Sources Should You Look For?
There are three kinds of sources that you can consult when it comes to researching MLMs. There are other kinds of sources, but I believe that these three sources will be of the most help to you.
Let’s start with the best source. In my opinion, the best sources that could give you a lot of information are third-party reviews, like this Rain International review you are reading right now. These reviews provide well-researched facts and information, from the company’s origin, the products they sell, how much money you can make, a lot of other useful information. If your intent is to weigh your options regarding whether you should join the MLM or not, then I suggest looking at third-party reviews.
If you are the type who wants to interact with people as you go along with your research, then you can search for online forums. Most forums I know of that discuss MLMs are very active, with thousands of members. All you have to do is ask around about the company you are researching, and I am sure that someone knows something about it. Forums are a good place to make discussions, share information, and talk casually.
If you are looking for the truth behind MLMs, then I suggest looking for testimonies from people who used to work for MLMs. These people have the most valuable information, in my opinion. Since they have first-hand experience about the comings and goings of MLMs, they can provide answers to questions that cannot be answered by the two sources above.
How to Make Money from Rain International
Since Rain International is an MLM, there are only two ways to make money with the company. and these are:
- Selling products
- Recruiting members
These are only the basic ways with which you can earn money with Rain International. There are ways to boost your earnings, which includes bonuses and benefits. They will be further discussed in the compensation plan section of the review.
To qualify for those benefits, you need an active downline. And I am telling you right now that building one is not as easy as the company makes it sound.
Building a downline involves recruiting people to sign up under you. This is the passive income that Rain International is advertising. This is actually more encouraged than product selling, which doesn’t really make sense because the reason why you joined is to be able to run your own business, right?
With that in mind, you have to pressure your downline to keep buying products since that is where you get the commissions from. This means that having a lot of people under you means you have the potential to earn more.
Remember that the MLM business model is not sustainable, so as time goes by, you will run out of people to recruit.
MLMs do not really care about how many products you sell. What they care about is how many you buy and how many people you can bring in.

How Much Can You Make?
Rain International does not publish an income disclosure statement. We do not have any data that could tell us for a fact how much people in this company actually make. I guess all we can do at the moment is to speculate.
This is a red flag because we all know that numbers never lie. Why would Rain International hide such vital information from their potential members? Well, let me answer that for you.
The truth is most MLMs refuse to let people know how much members actually make. This is because they know that it would instantly turn away the very people whom they want to sign up.
Well, if I see numbers that are way, way less than minimum wage, then even I would not even attempt to join the MLM. Unsurprisingly, most people who join MLMs do not make money.
Things I Like in Rain International
Established Company Reputation
Rain International has been in the business for a decade now. That is quite a feat, especially for an MLM. The average lifespan of an MLM is 3 years, and most MLMs shut down before they even see their third anniversary.
This is because, like I mentioned, people do not really need MLMs anymore. You can find anything online and buy it with a few clicks.
For Rain International to still be operating, it means that they have established a profitable business and a loyal customer base.
Things I Dislike in Rain International
Expensive Products
For your reference, I suggest scrolling up to see the prices of Rain International products.
Unsurprisingly, this MLM also overprices its products. I really do not get why MLMs do this, seeing that they are already quite obscure. Why would they price their products so high when they are on the verge of begging for sales? People are not willing to pay high prices for products they can get a lot cheaper elsewhere.
Also, are their products even worth the price? I highly doubt it. The products they sell are not any different from other health and wellness MLMs out there.
Saturated Market
There are thousands, or maybe even millions of brands and companies out there that belong in the health and wellness niche. It is pretty profitable, yet competitive.
Rain International does nothing to stand out from its competition. Sure, the names of the products are different, but how different are they compared to those being sold by bigger and better companies? Not to mention that their products are expensive, too.
Also, those big companies do proper advertising and marketing too. Rain International does not do that.
It is an MLM
This is an MLM, so it means that a lot of people definitely failed in this venture. In fact, 99% of people who join MLMs fail to make money, and they do not even earn back their initial investment.

Final Verdict – Rain International
Before I end this Rain International review, I would like to share a few more insights that could help you.
Now that we have come to the end of the Rain International review, let me tell you a few more facts about MLMs.
If you are wondering why Rain International continues to make money despite of its obscure nature, then let me answer than for you. Ever wonder why MLMs overprice their products to the point that it is quite ridiculous? Well, the reason is there are people guaranteed to pay that money for them.
The most loyal customers of Rain International are their members. If you are wondering why MLMs set monthly quotas that they require their members to follow, then here is the answer. MLMs set those quotas because that amount is their target amount of earnings every month. Now you know the reason why buying products for ‘personal use’ are highly encouraged by this company.
That quota is set to be met, and those who do not meet the quota are kicked out of the company. Once you are out, you lose the right to sell all the products you are forced to buy.
Why would you agree to these terms if you are running your own business? It doesn’t make sense for a business owner to be buying their own products.
Well, the answer is pretty simple. You are the customer.
That’s it for my Rain International review. Hopefully this Rain International review helps with your decision.
