Revital U MLM Review: Pyramid Scheme or Scam?

Today we will be reviewing a company called Revital U. Is Revital U a pyramid scheme or scam? Find out in this Revital U MLM review.

I am not surprised if you haven’t heard of Revital U before. They are pretty obscure. Well, all MLMs are pretty obscure, so people rarely hear about them. You must be wondering how they still make money, right?

The reason why Revital U is obscure is because it is an MLM, and MLMs do little to no advertising. The ones who do the advertising for them are the members that have to pay money to sign up. So, do you think MLMs compensate the people doing this job for them? Well, no, they don’t.

If you think that is bad enough, then you should know by now that the only pay you will get from MLMs are from how many products you sell. Your efforts before making the sale are not compensated.

If you are already thinking that it is scummy, then you are in for a ride in this Revital U MLM review today. Sit back, relax, and grab some popcorn.

Before we go further in this Revital U MLM review, I will define two terms first: MLM and pyramid scheme.

MLM members make money by selling products and recruiting new members. In pyramid schemes, members could only make money by recruiting people. Pyramid schemes are illegal and banned by the FTC.

As a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with Revital U in any way.

Hopefully this Revital U MLM review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

My #1 Recommendation

What is Revital U?

Revital U is a multi-level marketing company that sells dietary products. Basically, all their products are for those who want to lose weight.

Revital U brands itself as a “Sample First” company. This basically means that the company is leaning towards the sale tactic where their members will send samples to their friends and family, in the hopes that they can make a sale if the people liked what they received.

The company was founded in 2016 by Andrew McWilliam. Their sales motto is to “You don’t have to sell, just sample”.

Feel free to watch this video to learn more about the company.

Revital U is currently based in Texas, United States.

How Do MLMs Work?

Welcome to the section where we talk about how MLMs are as resilient as cockroaches and why I think the FTC should just ban them all already.

MLMs belong to a fine line between legitimate business and pyramid schemes. But most of the time, they lean towards the latter.

Today, let us talk about why MLMs overprice the crap they sell. This is the most ridiculous thing that you could easily observe on MLMs because their website shows the prices of the products to everyone who visits them.

If you look at the website of an MLM, you can easily see how much the price difference is between the prices of MLM and non-MLM products.

This is what I do not understand, to be honest. People value their money. Not everyone is willing to pay a higher price for products that they could get for a lower price elsewhere.

Not to mention that most MLM products are readily available in malls, shopping centers, and online. Besides, MLM products are basically pricier alternatives of products that are already being sold in better stores.

Most MLM products do not even stand out to me anyway. I do not understand why MLMs price their products so high, when they know that all it will do is push away their potential customers.

And to be honest, most MLM products I know of are crappier versions of products that already exist anyway. So basically, MLMs have no point for existing anymore. These days, everything can be bought online. Heck, you can even import products not available in your country by using forwarding services.

It is better to invest your money elsewhere than an MLM.

MLMs are a big waste of time and money, and have no place in modern society.

Is Revital U a Pyramid Scheme?

Since Revital U members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that Revital U is not a pyramid scheme.

However, since Revital U is still an MLM, do not expect to make money if you have no plans on recruiting people. Recruiting will earn you significantly more money than actual product selling, and is more encouraged.

This just makes Revital U look like a pyramid scheme in disguise, doesn’t it?

Pyramid scheme vs Multi-level marketing

Like Sunrider, FM World, and Peach, Revital U is not a pyramid scheme.

Is Revital U a Scam?

No, Revital U is not a scam.

However, just because it isn’t a scam doesn’t mean that you should come running to sign up for it right away. Not being a scam is a basic thing for a company to keep running.

I suggest that you look video reviews of people talking about the company, while making sure that these people are not affiliated with the company itself. You can also read more reviews, like this Revital U MLM review you are reading right now.

As long as it is a third-party source, then it is good. Most articles online about MLMs are published by the companies themselves, so of course those are biased and only say good things about them.

I also recommend looking for forums that talk about MLMs. There are a lot of them in the internet, and most of them have active users you can interact with to get personal feedback. As forums are being updated constantly, you can be assured that you are getting fresh information with every visit.

Testimonies from ex-members are also important, because these reveal how things work from the inside. Do MLM companies treat their members fairly? Only these testimonies can answer that.

How to Make Money from Revital U

Since Revital U is an MLM, there are only two ways to make money with the company. and these are:

  1. Selling products
  2. Recruiting members

You can make additional money by getting bonuses and benefits. In order to qualify for them, there are a lot of things you would have to do.

First off, you have to recruit people. These people will belong in your downline, and you will be getting commissions from the products they order. Yes, that is why recruiting is being emphasized in MLMs.

If you thinking that you can get passive income easily by doing this, then this is easier said than done. You have to keep recruiting people regularly in order to do so. To be able to keep receiving commissions regularly, this is what you have to do.

The more people you recruit, the more money you make. That is how it goes.

Remember that the MLM business model is not sustainable, so as time goes by, you will run out of people to recruit.

MLMs do not really care about how many products you sell. What they care about is how many you buy and how many people you can bring in.

This is sounding more and more like a pyramid scheme, doesn’t it?

You have to provide the information being asked, and you are all set. Not a very complicated process, too.

You only need to pay $50 to start your Revital U business, which is pretty cheap compared to other MLMs out there. Most MLMs charge hundreds or even thousands of dollars just to get started.

Revital U Products

Revital U MLM Review - Revital U products 2

Revital U sells the following products divided into the following categories:

  • Coffee
  • Caps
  • Cocoa
  • Sweet Dreams
  • Slim Tea

Things I Like in Revital U

Cheap Startup Fee

The thing that boosts Revital U is that its startup fee is pretty cheap. Like I said before, most companies charge hundreds and even thousands of dollars just to be able to start your business.

I guess this is a pretty good deal because $50 isn’t really a big amount of money. This $50 also grants you benefits of buying Revital U’s products for wholesale prices.

In-Demand Products

Weight-loss and dietary products are in-demand these days because people want to stay healthy. However, remember that dietary products only work with proper diet and exercise.

There are a lot of people who want to stay fit, so they are willing to try out a lot of things. I guess this is why a lot of MLMs sell weight-loss products: there are a lot of people willing to pay for them.

Things I Dislike in Revital U

Expensive Products

This is what will turn people off, even if Revital U sells products that are in-demand. Not a lot of people are willing to spend huge amounts of money for products that they could get cheaper elsewhere.

There are a lot of cheaper alternatives. Like I said before, a lot of companies sell weight-loss products, and they do the same things anyway.

Lack of Information Available

This company does not really publish a lot of vital information online, including their income disclosure statement. This just means that maybe the people who joined do not really make big bucks like their advertise.

But to be able to remain credible, shouldn’t they be transparent towards their members and customers? Just hiding the truth makes them look even more suspicious.

FDA Issue

It turns out that there is a warning sent by the FDA to Revital U, which the company received in 2019. According to the letter from FDA, the company committed “violations of FDA’s regulations for Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) in Manufacturing, Packaging, Labeling, or Holding Operations for Dietary Supplements”.

This is a big deal-breaker because not many people want to conduct business with companies that committed violations on the FDA.

I would also like to point out that this is why it is important to do thorough research on a company first before expressing interest in joining it. You would not want to be caught in this type of mess.

Saturated Market

There are a lot of companies competing in the weight-loss and diet product market. This just makes selling the products challenging for members.

Also, Revital U’s products do not even stand out, so I am not sure how you can make it work if you decide to join their company.

It is an MLM

This is an MLM, so it means that a lot of people definitely failed in this venture. In fact, 99% of people who join MLMs fail to make money, and they do not even earn back their initial investment.

Final Verdict – Revital U

Before I end this Revital U MLM review, I would like to share a few more insights that could help you.

I have reviewed quite a lot of MLM companies already, and for me, this company is just the same as most of them. The only different thing is that they sell dietary supplements, which is not really different because I already know a lot of MLMs selling the same thing.

So, do you really think that you can make money with Revital U? I think I have shown you enough evidence that you aren’t making the right call of trusting this company.

Sure, it is pretty cheap to join, but it takes a lot of work to be successful in an MLM venture. You would also risk alienating your closest relationships, especially with how aggressive MLMs are in terms of recruiting.

And in Revital U, they even emphasize that it is important to give the samples to your friends and family so they could try them. By getting they trust with sales, you are one step closer to recruiting them. That is just pretty scummy, in my opinion.

That’s it for my Revital U MLM review. Hopefully this Revital U MLM review helps with your decision.
