Who is Tony “The Closer” Robinson?

Tony “The Closer” Robinson is the one who created the course. Looks like he is successful in real estate investing now, but life wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows for him.

His goal before was to get into the NFL. He was very eager to get into it that he started a YouTube channel, where he recorded himself working out. One of his friends assisted him with making a highlight reel, which he sent to as many pro football contacts as possible.

His efforts paid off. He was asked to tryout, and he was able to make the team. Unfortunately, he gets cut early. He decided to go overseas to play semi-pro football, but then he injures his foot. He finally decided to give up on the dream and retired.

After that, he took a job selling cars. Even if he didn’t have any experience in car sales, he was able to successfully sell 23 cars on his first month on the job. He did it by using his the skills he learned about communicating and persuading people.

His sales tactics paid off, and he began making decent money from selling cars. However, he got addicted to gambling, and he was making bad financial decisions which ended up sending him in jail.

After getting out of jail, he sought help, and he was able to bounce back. He got into real estate, and he is now making millions.

Is Tony “The Closer” Robinson Legit?

From my observation, it seems like Tony has a knack for sales. Despite having no formal training whatsoever, he was able to become a successful salesman twice.

To be honest, life is usually unfair, where we only get one chance. Tony got two chances, and that was because he has the talents and skills.

His goal is to be able to teach people how to be successful in real estate investing. After all, it is what brought him success, and he wants other people to succeed as well. The pandemic actually helped him make this decision.

I don’t think Tony is a scammer. After all, he has the skills needed to teach a course like this one, and it looks like he delivers. His goal is to teach people, and it seems like he wants his knowledge to reach as many people as possible.

Just like I said previously, the course consists of ten modules. I will be briefly discussing each module in this section of the Rona Proof Masterclass review.

Module 1: Getting Started

This module gives you an advanced start on what you need to know regarding the fundamentals of wholesaling. You will learn how to set up your LLC, get organized, and create a business roadmap.

Since the course includes access to private wholesale communities, you are encouraged to forge partnerships and find opportunities.

Module 2: Finding Hot Leads

This is one of the most important aspects of the real estate business. This course offers you help with getting the best leads available.

You are also given the opportunity to learn how to use Tony’s top marketing tool called Propstream. There are also filters which can help you find the best opportunities from people desperate to sell their properties.

There is a COVID-19 interactive map available which can help you connect and communicate with these sellers, so I suggest taking advantage of that.

Module 3: Build Your List

This module is all about building your very own list of leads. After all, leads are the center of your business.

In this one, Tony will show you how you can acquire the contact details of sellers you can get in contact to in order to find the best opportunities.

Module 4: Cold Outreach 101

Once you get your leads, that is when the real work starts. You need to be in contact with them.

You will be taught how to simply the cold outreach process. A script which can help you control the flow of the conversation is also provided.

This module is all about the strategies you can use, both for online and offline outreach. This includes text messaging, of course, which can help you set more appointments and close more deals.

Module 5: Make the Offer

This module includes access to the so-called Offer Calculator, which can give you fair estimates on the money you can make based on the amount of deals you close.

You get tutorials regarding how to find the average retail value (ARV) of a property based on certain factors. There is also the Closer’s Repair Sheet which could help keep in track the costs you need to spend on repairs.

Module 6: Securing Contracts

Once you finalize an offer, it is time to formally secure it using a contract.

Included in this module are templates of contracts which you can use to legalize your deals. There is a breakdown as well regarding how you can use the contracts, and along with terms you need to negotiate.

Module 7: Open Escrow – Title Company

The next step is to put the property up in Escrow, and find title companies and closing attorneys in order to get the deal funded.

You will be given a list of reputable title companies to work with, and also a script which can help you out with hiring the best attorneys in the real estate niche at lower closing fees, which can help you make more money.

Module 8: Cash Buyers

The strategies presented in this module can help you find eager buyers willing to pay in cash.

You will be presented with live demonstrations of how to properly communicate with cash buyers, and how to build long-term partnerships with them.

You will also be taught how to present your offers professionally so you can maximize your profits. Copies of contracts are included here as well for your reference.

Module 9: Coordinate the Close

This module is all about double closing and transactional funding.

This type of loan allows the wholesaler to purchase a property without having to use his own money. As this is a short-term loan, it is useful for transactions where there is already a buyer in place who can purchase the property within 2 to 5 days.

As it is also an important aspect of real estate investing, learning it can be proved useful. It is also a way to turn a profit without having to worry of spending a huge amount of money upfront.

Module 10: Getting Paid

This module is all about getting paid for your closed deals.

Tony will be sharing anecdotes regarded his students who have managed to close deals worth $5k to $50k with no sales experience.

I’ve looked into a number of courses and programs similar to this one. To be honest, I’m skeptical about them, considering that they all claim to make you successful. Shouldn’t that be guaranteed, especially for such expensive courses?

If you are serious about investing in real estate, I think that looking for free trainings first will help you decide whether you want to get into it or not. As you can see, there is a lot to learn here, which means that you need to know the basics first.

Before you enroll in any paid course about real estate investing, I propose that you ask yourself the following question: Is this a worthwhile venture?

Don’t think it’s all a scam though because it offers you access to the modules and doesn’t take your money and run away with it. Taking classes like this, however, does not guarantee your success no matter what, so keep that in mind.

Only by putting the lessons into practice will you be able to reap the benefits of the course. Of course, hard work is still required.

I think this course is relatively detailed and comprehensive, and I am actually impressed with it. The problem is that it does not necessarily cater to beginners.

I am sure that you have no experience in real estate, so taking a basics course is much more advised. There are also free resources available in the internet to help you out.

Do not pay for courses if you are not 100% sure of getting into the business, as that would be money lost. Remember that some courses do not offer refunds.
