Today we will be reviewing a company called Ruby Ribbon. Is Ruby Ribbon a pyramid scheme or scam? Find out in this Ruby Ribbon MLM review.
If this company does not sound familiar to you, then I am not surprised anymore. MLM companies are pretty obscure and rarely do any advertising.
Ever wondered how MLMs continue to thrive despite people not being familiar with these companies at all? They save a lot of money of advertising costs because that work is being shouldered by the members who pay money to start selling their products.
These members are not compensated for that, by the way. It’s basically them doing free labor for the money.
The reason why you are here today is that you heard about this company from a hunbot. Unsurprising, since hunbots have now infiltrated social media. They are ready to send their copy-pasted scripts to everyone in their friend list. If you think you are safe as long as you don’t reply, then that is where you’re wrong.
If you think that joining an MLM is a good side hustle, then brace yourselves. You are in for a ride with this review today.
MLM members make money by selling products and recruiting new members. In pyramid schemes, members could make money by recruiting people. However, pyramid schemes are illegal.
As a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with Ruby Ribbon in any way.
Hopefully this Ruby Ribbon MLM review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

What is Ruby Ribbon?
Ruby Ribbon is a multi-level marketing company that sells intimate wear. I am actually surprised that there is an MLM that sells these products. Well, it really does seem like there is an MLM for everything.
The company was founded in 2011 by Anna Zornosa. The products Ruby Ribbon sells offer wireless comfort and support, meaning that they are much more comfortable than a bra.
The products also adapt to the wearer’s body shape, so you need not worry about minor changes in your body while wearing them.
Ruby Ribbon is currently based in California, United States.

How Do MLMs Work?
I have reviewed a lot of MLMs, and regardless of the products they are selling, it seems like all MLMs operate the same way. For one, they are walking the thin line between direct selling and pyramid scheme – two of the most annoying business models in existence.
MLMs think that they could get away with their pyramid scheme-like business model just because they sell products, when the reality is they have already pushed away so many customers for being pretentious and greedy.
Have you ever been to one of their ‘parties’ where they showcase products and beg the attendees to buy them? If you think that is pretty innocent, then think again. People in MLMs do not really earn much from selling products; they earn more from getting people to sign up under them.
So if you received a message from a resident hunbot from your friend list, I suggest that you waste their time so that they would not do it to other people. It’s scummy.
Have you ever wondered why people from MLMs are deep in debt? This is because MLMs require every member to carry a certain amount of products in their inventory. And these products have to be bought with their own money.
Basically, you can buy your way in an MLM. They do not care if you can even sell them, as long as you continue buying them. Isn’t that the total business of how a business is supposed to operate?
That aside, MLMs charge premium price for the most mundane products, so you will find it hard to look for customers willing to buy from you.
Is Ruby Ribbon a Pyramid Scheme?
Since Ruby Ribbon earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that RUby Ribbon is not a pyramid scheme.
However, since Ruby Ribbon is an MLM, do not expect to make profits if you have no plans on recruiting people. Recruiting will earn you significantly more money than actual product selling, and is highly encouraged if you are after passive income.
This just makes Ruby Ribbon look like a pyramid scheme in disguise, doesn’t it?
Is Ruby Ribbon a Scam?
No, Ruby Ribbon is not a scam.
However, you can learn more facts about the company by watching this video. It contains facts that the company refuses to tell you.
When it comes to MLMs, I suggest doing your own research. A lot of information available online are published by the MLM companies, so of course all of those are biased toward the companies.
This is why I suggest looking up third-party sources instead. These sources are well-researched and are not affiliated with the companies, so you can be assure that only facts will be included.
You can also find a lot of forums online that discuss MLMs. These forums are active so the information in there are updated everyday, so you will only be getting fresh info from them.
Ex-member testimonies are also good sources of info since they tell you how the companies really operate and if they treat their members fairly.
How to Make Money from Ruby Ribbon
Since Ruby Ribbon is an MLM, there are only two ways to make money with the company. and these are:
- Selling products
- Recruiting members
You can also earn money from reaping bonuses and benefits, except these require quite a lot of work before you become qualified to receive them.
This is where recruiting comes into play. You will have to build a downline, and that is easier said than done. You have to recruit as many people as possible and have them do the same.
This is how you get the passive income that the MLM promises. If you want this to continue, you need to keep bringing in new people regularly.
Remember that the MLM business model is not sustainable, so as time goes by, you will run out of people to recruit.
MLMs do not really care about how many products you sell. What they care about is how many you buy and how many people you can bring in.
This is sounding more and more like a pyramid scheme, doesn’t it?

Things I Like in Ruby Ribbon
Ruby Ribbon has been around since 2011, which is quite impressive. MLMs do not typically last long because of how unsustainable the business model is.
Since Ruby Ribbon continues to be in business and has lasted longer than the average lifespan of an MLM, this means that the company has built a loyal customer base.
Things I Dislike in Ruby Ribbon
Prices are Higher than Average
I have seen brands with lower prices than Ruby Ribbon. Remember that people value their money, so it is an easy choice to go with products that are priced reasonably.
Ruby Ribbon’s prices are pushing potential customers away. Besides, why would order from here if the product you want is readily available in the mall anyway with much lower prices?
Well, even though Ruby Ribbon prides themselves with how good their products are, the fact that they are obscure means that they are not doing anything to stand out.
Competition when it comes to intimate wear is pretty tough because it involves a lot of big brands out there that have been in the business longer. Not to mention that these companies do proper advertising and marketing too.
I do not think that there’s a chance that people would choose Ruby Ribbon over those companies.

Final Verdict – Ruby Ribbon
Before I end this Ruby Ribbon MLM review, I would like to share a few more insights.
When it comes to choosing comfortable products, women are still comfortable with doing their shopping on their own. Sure, some people still buy from MLMs, but MLMs are pretty obscure and forgettable.
When you need something, your first course of action is to look online for it. When it comes to clothes, you go to the mall, right? Chances are you haven’t thought of buying the product you need from an MLM at all.
To be honest, I’d rather support a small, independent business than buy from an MLM. MLMs are infamous for their scummy methods to get people’s money, not to mention how annoying the hunbots are.
From the stats I presented above, you should reconsider. Besides, there are better ways to make money than joining an MLM.
That’s it for my Ruby Ribbon MLM review. Hopefully this Ruby Ribbon MLM review helps with your decision.
