Sedalia Designs MLM Review: Will This MLM Make You Rich?

Today we will be reviewing a company called Sedalia Designs. Is Sedalia Designs a scam? Find out in this Sedalia Designs MLM Review.

Before you found this review, you were simply sitting in your room, peacefully watching a movie or playing a game on your phone, letting the days pass you by.

Of course, you are doing what you can just so you can distract yourself from overthinking. Currently, the pandemic situation does not seem to have slowed down.

To be honest, everyone is just trying to make ends meet with their present employment. Their current coping mechanism is through the consumption of different types of media to keep themselves sane.

People are doing everything they can to avoid becoming even more worried, and many have taken up various hobbies and pastimes that they can enjoy at home.

That is when you decided that maybe you need to save more money. You are looking for a good side hustle online, then you see a message from someone in social media.

You decided to read this Sedalia Designs MLM review, as you got quite tempted by what they promised you.

However, I can’t say I blame you. Due to the epidemic, everyone is feeling on edge, and individuals are still urged to stay at home and limit their trips outside.

Before we go further in this Sedalia Designs MLM review, I will define two terms first: MLM and pyramid scheme.

MLM members make money by selling products and recruiting new members. In pyramid schemes, members could only make money by recruiting people. Pyramid schemes are illegal and banned by the FTC.

As a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with Sedalia Designs MLM in any way.

Hopefully this Sedalia Designs MLM review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

What is Sedalia Designs?

Sedalia Designs MLM Review - Sedalia Designs intro

Sedalia Designs is a multi-level marketing company that sells jewelry. The company was founded in 2009 by Marcy Schoenborn.

Prior to founding this company, Schoenborn spent 26 years as the owner and main designer for California Gold Designs.

Sedalia Designs is currently based in Colorado, United States. Their products can be purchased in 10 territories, including USA, Puerto Rico, Canada, UK, Ireland, Scotland, Guam, Bermuda. Australia, and New Zealand.

At the moment, Sedalia Designs has over 8,000 distributors and members.

They have an affiliate program, similar to any other MLM, where you sign up as a member and make money by selling the items.

Joining an MLM seems like it to be a good business prospect at first, but you will notice that after joining, things get much more tough as time goes by. In a later section of our Sedalia Designs MLM review, I’ll explain this in further detail.

You can learn more about the company’s affiliate program by watching this video.

How Do MLMs Work?

After learning about Sedalia Designs history and seeing their products, I’m sure your interest in them has grown.

Well, I’m anticipating that, so in this section, I’ll tell you more about multilevel marketing. After spending so much time researching MLMs, I decided it was time to share what I’ve learned.

This section will explain the inner workings of a multilevel marketing company, including how they function, their business strategy, and why I do not endorse them.

Please keep in mind that my information originated from reliable sources, therefore if you’re interested in MLM business prospects, I recommend that you read this part completely.

The fact that MLM business possibilities have a cult-like business strategy has absolutely turned me off. You could think I’m exaggerating, but I’m telling you the truth here.

Cult members are trained to be fiercely devoted to their leader. It’s frighteningly similar in an MLM. MLM members must exhibit complete devotion to the MLM leader, and if they show any signs of waning devotion, they will be thrown out and ostracized.

That may not appear to be a terrible thing, but there are a number of factors at play here. MLMs promote recruiting because they aim to incorporate the person’s support system within the MLM. This implies that if they abandon it, they will have no one to turn to because everyone has committed allegiance to the company.

Is Sedalia Designs a pyramid scheme?

Since Sedalia Designs members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that Sedalia Designs is not a pyramid scheme.

However, since Sedalia Designs is still an MLM, do not expect to make money if you have no plans on recruiting people. Recruiting will earn you significantly more money than actual product selling, and is more encouraged.

This just makes Sedalia Designs look like a pyramid scheme in disguise, doesn’t it?

Like My Lala Leggings, Mary and Martha, and J.R. Watkins, Sedalia Designs is not a pyramid scheme.

Is Sedalia Designs a Scam?

No, Sedalia Designs is not a scam.

However, if you think this is enough for you to jump in Sedalia Designs’ so-called opportunity straight away, then I suggest that you hold your horses. This is just the most basic thing, so don’t go signing up for this company right away.

Before making your decision, I suggest that you do a thorough research on the MLM first. You can consult some of the sources I listed below. Take note that you can definitely consult any source you want to, but the sources I listed below are the best kinds to consult, for various reasons listed.

My Favorite Program

How to Make Money from Sedalia Designs

Since Sedalia Designs is an MLM, there are only two ways to make money with the company. and these are:

  • Selling products
  • Recruiting members

Selling is a straightforward procedure. One of the benefits of joining an MLM is that you may be able to get reduced wholesale pricing on their products. Then you can sell them at the company’s retail prices, and whatever the difference is, that’s your profit.

One of the techniques they encourage a lot is recruiting. This includes reaching out to people on a regular basis in order to persuade, or rather, annoy them to become distributors for the company.

However, keep in mind that this is a far more time-consuming and complicated procedure than simply selling the items. There are commissions you can earn whenever the member you have recruited successfully makes a sale.

Remember that the MLM business model is not sustainable, so as time goes by, you will run out of people to recruit.

MLMs do not really care about how many products you sell. What they care about is how many you buy and how many people you can bring in.

How Much Can You Make?

This is the first concern you have before even reading this Sedalia Designs MLM review. But I can’t say I blame you.

After all, isn’t the fact that you think you can earn money here the reason you were interested in this company in the first place? I’m about to respond to your query, however…

So, it appears that this company is merely another MLM. They don’t provide a thorough income disclosure statement, implying that they don’t wish to be open with new and present members.

This implies I don’t have the information I need to answer your inquiry. The source for this information should be the company itself, but because they choose to keep it hidden, we are left with no choice but to make speculations.

Despite the fact that we believe this is not the way things should be done, there is no law that penalizes MLMs for not being honest to the public. That, to be honest, does not surprise me. MLMs have a knack for getting away with stuff.

But it’s still a major red flag. They are certainly concealing crucial facts.

Things I Like in Sedalia Designs

Experienced Owner

Like I mentioned earlier, the owner of this company has been in the jewelry industry for almost three decades.

This is what gives an edge to the company, as the owner definitely knows their way around jewelry, whether it be selling or designing them.

This also means that this company is also pretty established, seeing as how the previous company they owned was pretty successful.

However, this does not mean that you should automatically trust this company straight away. It is still an MLM, after all.

Charitable Causes

Sedalia Designs is affiliated with charities such as Courageous Faces Foundation and Arising Hope.

People are more compelled to buy products from companies who donate to charity. This is because it makes them feel good to buy something they want while giving to the needy at the same time.

Things I Dislike in Sedalia Designs

Expensive Products

This is a challenge that not only Sedalia Designs, but all MLMs face. They sell their items at a significantly greater price than their more well-known non-MLM competitors.

I think their reasoning behind this is that offering items at a higher price would persuade buyers that their products were far more superior in quality.

Keep in mind that individuals make budgets and wish to stick to them. They would not go out of their way to accommodate the costs of an MLM, especially when they know that competitors offer better prices.

Recruit, Recruit, Recruit

Keep in mind that this is exactly how pyramid schemes operate.

So, if you see a company who promises that where you can make more money by recruiting than by selling, you should avoid it at all costs. Run away as far as you can from it.

There will be a point where the money will stop flowing since it is statistically impossible to continue recruiting. MLMs are simply designed that way.

It is an MLM

This is an MLM, so it means that a lot of people definitely failed in this venture. In fact, 99% of people who join MLMs fail to make money, and they do not even earn back their initial investment.

My Favorite Program

Sedalia Designs Compensation Plan

Unfortunately, I could not find a proper document or video that can tell you about this. However, I managed to find some information about this through a bit of research.

Distributors make 35% up to 50% of commissions from their personal sales.

They can also earn 5% worth of commissions from the sales of the members they personally signed up. This goes down to 1% for the second level up to the fourth level recruits.

They also earn residual income that can be obtained from signing up customers to the VIP shoppers list.

10 Shocking MLM Statistics That You Need to Know!

MLM stats

  • There are 38% more chances of you profiting from your own any kind of small business than joining these MLMs.
  • Success rate of an online business, which will give you financial and time freedom, is 20% more than joining MLMs for making money.
  • The odds of you winning a lottery worth $10k among 10,000 people is 300 times higher than actually making money from MLMs.
  • According to the AARP foundation, 47% distributors of all MLMs lose their money. Apart from this, 27% do not make a single penny.

Final Verdict – Sedalia Designs

Now that you’ve learned everything there is to know about Sedalia Designs, I assume you’ve made your decision by now.

However, I recommend that you do a lot of consideration first. Are you certain that you’ve made the best decision?

What I meant by “correct decision” was that you should follow my advice and not sign up for Sedalia Designs or any other MLM.

I cannot emphasize enough how strongly I do not recommend these companies. Even though they offer different items, all MLMs are the same.

They use the same shady techniques, such as requiring members to stockpile merchandise, having a ludicrous pay scheme that solely encourages recruitment, and a slew of other shady practices.

There’s also the significant failure rate, which MLMs like to gloss over on. They would prefer that people not know about how 99 percent of people who join MLMs fail miserably, but that is simply the sad reality. This fact has been backed up by a slew of studies and research.

Are you sure you want to work for a company that isn’t open to its employees?

MLMs are not too keen with saying anything negative. All they want to claim is that everything is good and that all you have to do is keep sending them money.

They encourage you to think that if you keep paying them money and hoarding products, you will reach the success you are envisioning one day.

MLMs, on the other hand, are not the way to go. I’m aware of another approach that does not require any recruitment. In the next part, you’ll learn more about it.

That’s it for my Sedalia Designs MLM review. Hopefully this Sedalia Designs MLM review helps with your decision.
