Simply Naturals Review: Legit MLM or Another Scam?

Today we will be reviewing a company called Simply Naturals. Is Simply Naturals a scam? Find out in this Simply Naturals review.

Being able to be your own boss is quite the dream. Imagine being able to choose your own work hours and being able to do things at your own pace. Simply Naturals, an MLM, advertises an opportunity where you can do this, and even promises a steady income larger than your current salary. That is why you are here today, right?

First off, let’s do some myth-busting. Yes, you can manage your own hours in an MLM, and yes, you can earn money. However, you do not become your own boss because you still work for a company. The company has a CEO, and that person is the boss.

Basically, if you are planning to quit your corporate job to join an MLM, you aren’t really breaking free from the corporate career. You actually just made your life a lot more difficult because you signed up for a job that does not pay a steady income.

You will learn this and more as you continue reading this Simply Naturals review.

Before we go further in this Simply Naturals review, I will define two terms first: MLM and pyramid scheme.

MLM members make money by selling products and recruiting new members. In pyramid schemes, members could only make money by recruiting people. Pyramid schemes are illegal and banned by the FTC.

As a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with Simply Naturals in any way.

Hopefully this Simply Naturals review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

What is Simply Naturals?

Simply Naturals Review - Simply Naturals intro

Simply Naturals is a multi-level marketing company in the health and wellness niche. Like what their name states, their main products are supplements that have plant-based ingredients.

The company’s mission is to provide optimum health to the world by educating them about plant-based minerals, while becoming the leader of the nutritional supplements market by selling their natural products. Simply Naturals was founded by Eric Cole and Peter Willoughby in 2012, and is currently based in the United Kingdom.

Willoughby has more than 20 years of experience in referral marketing. He used to work for the IT industry before he became a referral marketer. It seems like Simply Naturals is the only MLM that he has become involved in.

You can learn more about their business opportunity by watching this video.

How Do MLMs Work?

Before we discuss more topics in this Simply Naturals review, we should talk about MLMs in general. This section will discuss the truth behind how MLMs operate, and would be a big help to you especially if this is your first time encountering one. I may have given you the textbook definition of an MLM, but there is far more to it.

My opinions regarding MLMs are based on facts. I think that MLMs are the worst, and that you should never join one. You will find out that my opinions are well-substantiated as you continue reading this section.

Upon reviewing a lot of MLMs in the past, I have come to that conclusion. I have amassed knowledge that I think will be enough to let me share my opinions and not be deemed as baseless.

They actually lied to you from the very start. People who join MLMs do not make money. There are already countless sources that back up this statement.

Another thing is, MLMs advertise their opportunity as a legitimate job. Joining an MLM is not a job. You do get paid with a stable salary. Your earnings are based on commissions. Moreover, MLMs even have the audacity to tell you to quit your job and devote all your time to them. Talk about controlling.

Their greed knows no bounds, too. They want to control the spending of their members by setting ridiculous sales quotas for them to meet. You have to be able to meet these quotas so that you can stay in the company. If not, you will be dropped promptly and lose the rights to sell the products they made you buy in the first place.

Just remember that if something sounds to good to be true, it definitely isn’t.

Is Simply Naturals a Pyramid Scheme?

Since Simply Naturals members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that Simply Naturals is not a pyramid scheme.

However, since Simply Naturals is still an MLM, do not expect to make money if you have no plans on recruiting people. Recruiting will earn you significantly more money than actual product selling, and is more encouraged.

This just makes Simply Naturals look like a pyramid scheme in disguise, doesn’t it?

Pyramid scheme vs Multi-level marketing

Like Miessence, Nikken, and Unicity, Simply Naturals is not a pyramid scheme.

Is Simply Naturals a Scam?

No, Simply Naturals is not a scam.

However, if you think this is enough for you to jump in Simply Naturals’ so-called opportunity straight away, then I suggest that you hold your horses. This is just the most basic thing, so don’t go signing up for this company right away.

Before making your decision, I suggest that you do a thorough research on the MLM first. You can consult some of the sources I listed below. Take note that you can definitely consult any source you want to, but the sources I listed below are the best kinds to consult, for various reasons listed.

What Sources Should You Look For?

There are three kinds of sources that you can consult when it comes to researching MLMs. There are other kinds of sources, but I believe that these three sources will be of the most help to you.

Luckily for you, you managed to find the best source that the internet has to offer. This Simply Naturals review is a third-party review. Third-party reviews are, well, written by third parties. This means that they have no connections with the MLMs whatsoever, so they are impartial and not biased towards them.

Research and fact-checking are thoroughly done for these reviews, so that only facts will be presented. Before being published, reviews are also being checked for grammar and spelling errors. Also, these reviews are designed to answer the questions you may have about MLMs.

There is actually an active online community that discusses MLMs. You can easily find their forums with a quick internet search. These forums have thousands of active members that are ready to entertain your inquiries anytime.

They are also ready to share their research with you and discuss MLMs with you. Basically, they want to educate as many people as possible about how bad these companies really are.

How to Make Money from Simply Naturals

Since Simply Naturals is an MLM, there are two basic ways to make money with the company. and these are:

  • Selling products
  • Recruiting members

Bear in mind that these are only the basic ways, which means that there are more ways to make money in Simply Naturals. There are often quite a lot of bonuses and benefits that you can qualify for, as MLMs often present quite a lot of choices. For more information about these, you may refer to the compensation plan section of this Simply Naturals review.

It is actually quite difficult to qualify for these bonuses. Most of them are only available for people who built an active downline, and trust me, that is not easy to do.

Building a downline in an MLM involves recruiting. It is also the bread-and-butter of MLMs. It is more encouraged to recruit than to sell the products. If you are thinking that joining an MLM would be 100% about running your business, well, that is where you’re wrong.

What you will be doing is here is actually very different. You would need to constantly be sending messages to strangers and begging them to buy your products and join the company.

Remember that the MLM business model is not sustainable, so as time goes by, you will run out of people to recruit.

MLMs do not really care about how many products you sell. What they care about is how many you buy and how many people you can bring in.

How Much Can You Make?

I have spent quite some time looking around the internet for a copy of Simply Naturals’ income disclosure statement, but I was not able to find one. Turns out that they do not release one after all. Unsurprising, really.

If this is your first time reading a review in this website, then let me tell you what an income disclosure statement it. Basically, it is a piece of document with data detailing the average income earned by all the members of an MLM. Most income disclosure statements indicate a single year.

To be honest, there isn’t really a difference between income disclosure statements of all MLM companies. All of them just state the obvious that members do not make money at all. Average earnings indicate only the payouts given by the MLMs, but not the details on the members’ side.

Most people who join MLMs do not even earn back what they initially paid to start selling MLM products. Simply put, you cannot earn money if you join an MLM.

Things I Like in Simply Naturals

Established Company

This company was founded in 2012, which means that they have been in the business for almost a decade now. It seems like the company continues being profitable despite being part of a competitive niche in the market. They have also lasted longer than the average lifespan of an MLM, which is three years.

After all, their founders have experience in the business before, which explains why the company continues running smoothly. They also seem to have accumulated loyal customers through the years.

Things I Dislike in Simply Naturals

Recruit, Recruit, Recruit

Well, this does not come as a surprise, as the company is an MLM. Simply Naturals’ focus is more on the recruiting side than the product selling side, which is not good. They advertise themselves as a business when it is more of a pyramid scheme in disguise.

Yes, there is a possibility that you can earn money from selling products without recruiting, but they would pressure you to recruit. It defeats the purpose of “being your own boss” because they tend to boss people around.

They reportedly send people leaflets with handwritten notes to pester them until they finally agree to join the company. Talk about annoying.

Products Are Not FDA Approved

This seems like a major disadvantage. Simply Naturals advertise their “impressive” products but haven’t even secured proper FDA certification for them.

Sure, they can keep claiming that their products work, but that is just them trying to assure people. That does not really work on those who do their research first.

This just makes people second-guess what the deal with the company is. Which things did they lie about? Did they even tell the truth once?

It is an MLM

This is an MLM, so it means that a lot of people definitely failed in this venture. In fact, 99% of people who join MLMs fail to make money, and they do not even earn back their initial investment.

Simply Naturals Compensation Plan

Here are the ways to get paid in Simply Naturals:

  • Retail Commissions. You are eligible to receive 30% commissions per product you get to sell.
  • Recruitment Commissions. You get paid with a commission once your newly-recruited member purchases their starter pack.
  • Unilevel Commissions. This is basically the commissions paid per level in your downline. The percentage depends on the generation the members are in.
  • Infinity Bonus. You get this bonus once you reach the Manager rank in the company.
  • Global Profit Share Pool. This is reserved for those who reach the highest ranks. This is based on a certain percentage of the company’s total global sales.

Below is a video that could help explain this compensation plan further.

Final Verdict – Simply Naturals

Before I end this Simply Naturals review, I would like to share a few more insights that could help you.

I am sure that I was able to explain as much as I can throughout the review, so I think you are ready to make a decision now. No need to be hasty, though, as I still have a few more tips to share.

Now that you got a glimpse of the inner workings of an MLM, I am sure that you are enlightened. Feel free to share your knowledge to people, and direct them to this website if they are in need of answers.

I think you have one more question in mind. Why are MLMs still around when there is no more need for them?

Simple. It’s not the market that needs MLMs. It is the people. There are people out there who are easily swayed and manipulated into thinking that joining an MLM is a very easy way to make money. What they do is they just take the word of the MLM in question and just join them.

It is not a sin to be gullible. The fault lies on these companies that manipulate people into giving them money again and again. Also, the system is also at fault for letting these MLMs have their way with no consequences.

I have a better opportunity waiting for you in the next section, so I suggest you keep reading.

That’s it for my Simply Naturals review. Hopefully this Simply Naturals review helps with your decision.
