SimplyFun MLM Review: Can Selling Toys Make You Rich?

Today we will be reviewing a company called SimplyFun. Is SimplyFun a scam? Find out in this SimplyFun MLM Review.

To be fair, I am sure that you are feeling stressed and anxious regarding the current pandemic. I am sure that there were times where you were feeling like the future looks bleak. The world’s future state is still uncertain at this point, and I do not really see things improving soon. Give it three to five years, I think.

So now here you are, feeling not so good about your current financial situation. You know that another lockdown would hurt your income source, so now you are looking for a way to make extra money. An extra income can mean that you can at least get to save up if things go south once again.

That is why you are actually glad that someone reached out to you, advertising a company you have not heard before, but their offer is pretty tempting. I mean, who would not be enticed by promises of being your own boss, having free time to go on vacations, and working at the comfort of your own home?

Before we go further in this SimplyFun MLM review, I will define two terms first: MLM and pyramid scheme.

MLM members make money by selling products and recruiting new members. In pyramid schemes, members could only make money by recruiting people. Pyramid schemes are illegal and banned by the FTC.

As a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with SimplyFun in any way.

Hopefully this SimplyFun MLM review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

How Do MLMs Work?

This section is dedicated to discussions about how an MLM operates. Now that you have at least an idea of what an MLM is, I guess we should delve a little deeper into them. After all, just knowing the definition is not enough if you want to learn about them properly.

Having done quite a lot of research on MLMs myself, I figured that I have enough knowledge to share with you. Take note that I am limited to only a short explanation in this section, so if you want the full experience, then I suggest that you read the other reviews in this website.

Today, let us talk about how MLMs are using deception and manipulation, just like cults, in order to keep their members in line with their scummy practices.

Actually, this starts immediately, even before the proper recruitment process. Remember that hunbot who enthusiastically reached out to you? Well, I know that you thought that they have good intentions. The reason why they reached out to you is probably because they want to share with you a good opportunity, right?

Well, not quite. You see, they have not been completely honest to you from the start. They advertised an opportunity to you that is not as stable as you think it is.

One of the lies that MLMs love to spread is that joining an MLM is a lot better than working an 8 to 5 regular job. The problem with this claim is that MLMs do not even pay wages to their members.

Yep, you read that one right. So, how do you make money then?

You are now pressured to make as many sales and recruit as many members as you can. Your earnings will solely be on a commission basis, meaning that you are not going to be paid a single cent if you fail to sell or recruit.

Is SimplyFun a Pyramid Scheme?

Since SimplyFun members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that SimplyFun is not a pyramid scheme.

However, since SimplyFun is still an MLM, do not expect to make money if you have no plans on recruiting people. Recruiting will earn you significantly more money than actual product selling, and is more encouraged.

This just makes SimplyFun look like a pyramid scheme in disguise, doesn’t it?

Like Coseva, Gano Excel, and Dynamaxx, SimplyFun is not a pyramid scheme.

Is SimplyFun a Scam?

No, SimplyFun is not a scam.

However, if you think this is enough for you to jump in SimplyFun’s so-called opportunity straight away, then I suggest that you hold your horses. This is just the most basic thing, so don’t go signing up for this company right away.

Before making your decision, I suggest that you do a thorough research on the MLM first. You can consult some of the sources I listed below. Take note that you can definitely consult any source you want to, but the sources I listed below are the best kinds to consult, for various reasons listed.

What Sources Should You Look For?

There are three kinds of sources that you can consult when it comes to researching MLMs. There are other kinds of sources, but I believe that these two sources will be of the most help to you.

Having to scour through the millions of internet search results when you look up MLMs can be pretty exhausting. After all, it is not like all of those search results can tell you what you want to know. It is a hassle having to go through every single one, hoping that at least one of them can be useful.

This is why you are actually in the best place you can ever demand to be. This SimplyFun MLM review is an example of a third-party review. Third-party reviews are reviews from entities who have connections whatsoever to any MLM, meaning that they have the freedom to publish the truth, even if that means having to expose negative things.

Third-party reviews have also compiled all the sources necessary for your research already. This means that there is no more need to skim through millions of search results just to answers questions you might have.

If you are looking for a more personal experience, then I recommend that you consult online forums instead. These forums are pretty active, and the members are more than willing to engage in discussion and answer questions you might have. The moderators also ensure that all posts stay on topic.

Some of the people in these forums used to be MLM members. I suggest reaching out to them in order to gain their valuable insight.

How to Make Money from SimplyFun

Since SimplyFun is an MLM, there are only two ways to make money with the company. and these are:

  • Selling products
  • Recruiting members

Before you can even start with your SimplyFun business, you are required to pay a fee. To be honest, I am not really very confident with “job offers” where you have to pay first. That aside, if you sign up for this company, you are then entitled to purchase the products at wholesale prices, then sell them to customers for retail prices.

On the other hand, if you want the real passive income they are promising, then you would need to start recruiting other people. You are entitled to commissions from every sale they make.

Remember that the MLM business model is not sustainable, so as time goes by, you will run out of people to recruit.

MLMs do not really care about how many products you sell. What they care about is how many you buy and how many people you can bring in.

How Much Can You Earn?

Well, we discussed the ways to make money in SimplyFun, but the problem is if this company truly is worth it. To be honest, I would not count on you making money here at all, considering that this company is simply another typical MLM who thinks that they have unique, breakthrough products.

Just like a typical MLM, SimplyFun does not post an income disclosure. I cannot say that I am surprised at this point, as most MLMs I have written reviews about simply do not have one. These companies seem to be aware of what they are doing though; yet they have no plans to change it.

What I want to see from these MLMs is them being transparent to their members. These people are the ones working the hardest in order to market the company and get their name out there. It is just unfair that they are not being treated right, and how MLMs have the audacity to treat them unfairly is just pretty scummy.

This behavior is very predatory. I hope that this is enough to convince you not to join an MLM.

Things I Like in SimplyFun

Established Company

SimplyFun has been in business since 2004, which means that they have been operating for more than a decade now. This is a pretty impressive feat, considering that they are competing with a lot of other companies that produces the same toys as they do.

Good Product Concept

I am actually quite impressed by the products that SimplyFun is peddling. Children nowadays are pretty hard to control, especially in terms of the time they spend on their gadgets. These products can help them develop their critical thinking and problem solving skills in a fun way that they will surely enjoy.

Things I Dislike in SimplyFun

Expensive Products

SimplyFun is definitely aware of their competition, but it does not seem like they plan to do something about their prices. There are a lot of more well-known toy companies who sell the same products for the fraction of the price, and what’s more, they are a lot more accessible and easier to purchase, as they can be found in your nearest toy store.

Take note that toy stores now operate online. A lot of online markets also offers discounts very often, so of course, people will be choosing those over expensive products from a brand they do not recognize.

Recruit, Recruit, Recruit

If you want to earn money as a SimplyFun member, then this is what you need to do. If you take a look at their compensation plan which is at the next section, you can observe that recruiting is a lot more rewarding compared to selling the products alone. You can earn significantly more if you build a downline, basically.

Take note, however, that these products are not considered a necessity. You will find it a lot harder to sell the products and market the opportunity to people. Of course, the main demographic would be parents, but considering that parents are already doing a lot of things with their everyday life, then I doubt that they would find time for an MLM.

It is an MLM

This is an MLM, so it means that a lot of people definitely failed in this venture. In fact, 99% of people who join MLMs fail to make money, and they do not even earn back their initial investment.

SimplyFun Compensation Plan

You can find SimplyFun’s compensation plan here.

The ways to make money in SimplyFun are as follows:

  • Sales Commissions. These are commissions you can get from your personal sales.
  • Personal Bonus. You can get these commissions monthly, and these amount to 10% of your sales for that month.
  • Personal Sponsoring Bonus. This bonus is from the sales made by your recruits. You earn 2% to 4% commissions from the sales they make.
  • Team Bonus. This is where you will get the most earnings. These are from your downline’s sales, up to a specific level.

This video can help tell you more about the compensation plan.
