Sipology Review: Good Tea or Bad Scam?

Sipology Review: Good Tea or Bad Scam?

Today we will be reviewing a company called Sipology. Is Sipology a scam? Find out in this Sipology review.

I am sure that the reason why you found this Sipology review is because someone who works for them has contacted you, promising you an opportunity of a lifetime. After all, who would not be happy with the prospect of being their own boss, getting paid higher than a boring corporate job, and working your own hours?

I am glad that you decided to stop by this Sipology review before agreeing to sign up for said opportunity straight away. There are a lot of people who made such bad decisions because of being so hasty. After all, the one who reached out to you is a stranger. Why would you trust them the very first time?

The reason why MLMs continue to proliferate despite the odds being stacked against them is because they are good at manipulating people. Other than that, they also seem to know what the right words to say in order for people to trust them immediately.

As you continue reading this Sipology review, I hope that you get the answers you need to your concerns. I will also be exposing the truth behind this company.

Before we go further in this Sipology review, I will define two terms first: MLM and pyramid scheme.

MLM members make money by selling products and recruiting new members. In pyramid schemes, members could only make money by recruiting people. Pyramid schemes are illegal and banned by the FTC.

As a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with Sipology in any way.

Hopefully this Sipology review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

What is Sipology?

Sipology Review - Sipology intro

Sipology is a multi-level marketing company founded in 2006 by Tonia Jahsan. The company sells teas and other related products.

Sipology has became a multi-million brand, as it has accumulated $20 million worth of earnings in a span of 10 years. The company had its first big break in 2012.

Jahsan started the company as a passion project. Her love for tea started when she visited Canada for a vacation. Because of her entrepreneurial skills, she was able to steer her business into success.

Sipology has now over 10,000 members in both Canada and the United States.

You can watch the video below to learn more about Sipology.

How Do MLMs Work?

This section is dedicated to unmasking the truth behind MLMs. Here, we talk about the toxic business model that these companies follow, how they lie to people about everything, and how they still manage to convince people that signing up for their company will solve all their problems.

If you want to know my opinion regarding MLMs, well, I think that these companies are the worst. I strongly suggest against joining them if you do not want to get into thousands of debt.

If you think that my opinions sound harsh, then I suggest that you read this section entirely. My opinions are very substantiated and backed by quite a lot of fact-checked sources.

Let us talk about how these companies use lies to manipulate people in order to get their money. To be honest, ever since the first time they talked to you, they are already lying. They lied to you about making more money than your current job, about being your own boss, and about the whole opportunity.

Basically, your earnings here are pretty unstable compared to a regular job. You need to be working harder than ever did your entire life if you really want to make a lot of money. You are paid only with commissions, which means that your time and efforts are not compensated.

Other than that, take note that you also have a lot of miscellaneous expenses. These include your travel expenses, taxes you need to pay, shipping costs, and other types of expenses. These are also not compensated.

What do you think would be left for you to enjoy? I doubt that you will even earn back your initial investment. As much as how these companies always flaunt wealth, their members are all suffering from their greed.

And they have the audacity to call corporations greedy. Oh, the irony.

Is Sipology a Pyramid Scheme?

Since Sipology members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that Sipology is not a pyramid scheme.

However, since Sipology is still an MLM, do not expect to make money if you have no plans on recruiting people. Recruiting will earn you significantly more money than actual product selling, and is more encouraged.

This just makes Sipology look like a pyramid scheme in disguise, doesn’t it?

Pyramid scheme vs Multi-level marketing

Like GelMoment, Silver Icing, and Tropic Skincare, Sipology is not a pyramid scheme.

Is Sipology a Scam?

No, Sipology is not a scam.

However, if you think this is enough for you to jump in Sipology’s so-called opportunity straight away, then I suggest that you hold your horses. This is just the most basic thing, so don’t go signing up for this company right away.

Before making your decision, I suggest that you do a thorough research on the MLM first. You can consult some of the sources I listed below. Take note that you can definitely consult any source you want to, but the sources I listed below are the best kinds to consult, for various reasons listed.

What Sources Should You Look For?

There are three kinds of sources that you can consult when it comes to researching MLMs. There are other kinds of sources, but I believe that these three sources will be of the most help to you.

Luckily, you already found the best available source online. This Sipology review has a lot of information, from the company’s origins, your potential earnings, and the ways you can do to boost said earnings. It is pretty much an all-around piece of content, if you can call it that.

I am sure that this Sipology review is not the only one you can find of its kind. This website in particular houses quite a lot of reviews. These reviews are referred to as third-party reviews, as these are published by entities that are not connected with MLMs.

These means that third-party reviews are impartial and unbiased with the information they share. They are not afraid to publish information as long as they are fact-checked, even if it means that they will be exposing scummy companies.

You also have the option to look at online forums. There are quite a lot of forums out there that actively discuss MLMs, Their main goal is to educate as many people as possible about the dangers of these companies. They are open to answering your questions and inquiries.

How Much Can You Make?

Sipology Review - Sipology earnings

Sipology is another company that does not process a proper income disclosure statement. To be honest, I do not think that we will be seeing one from them anytime soon. The company is an MLM, so this is just the way it goes.

Most MLMs I have reviewed in the past do not publish one, too. This should not be the norm. However, judging by the track record of MLMs I have researched, it seems like there is no exception for Sipology, too. I think they are hiding something.

They did not provide any data that could tell their members how much their potential earnings could be. This can mean one thing: they refuse to tell their members that joining them is a big risk, and that they will most likely not make anything.

Making money in an MLM is pretty challenging because all the factors seem to be against the members. They always say that they want their members to succeed, but how come they refuse to be transparent to them?

It is because they know the truth. Once they reveal this data, it will definitely sink them. Their business’ main focus is recruitment, so if they cannot get new members, they will close down.

Things I Like in Sipology

A Passion Project

You know that an MLM is going at the right path when it has started as a passion project. This means that the owners know what they are doing, and they want to do it right. They definitely paid attention to the project ever since the first day of launch, which explains the success.

The company may be quite new to the market, but they seem to know what they are doing. That is pretty impressive too, considering that their market is pretty exclusive.

Things I Dislike in Sipology

Exclusive Niche

Not everyone is a fan of tea, unfortunately. Most people prefer coffee, which explains why there are various coffee shops popping out left and right. People love coffee because it energizes them.

I guess the target market for Sipology are tea connoisseurs. There are not as many of them compared to coffee lovers though. Also, coffee is a lot cheaper than tea, too.

Expensive Products

Sipology is no exception to this. They are actually guilty of giving expensive prices to their products, even though they surely know that this move will push potential customers away.

Sure, they may be a passion project, but that does not warrant a high price for tea. Besides, you can get your tea for a way cheaper price if you go to a supermarket or to your local tea shop. Why would you need to bother with an MLM for tea, anyway?

It is an MLM

This is an MLM, so it means that a lot of people definitely failed in this venture. In fact, 99% of people who join MLMs fail to make money, and they do not even earn back their initial investment.

Sipology Compensation Plan

Here are the ways to get paid in Sipology:

  • Retail Commissions. At the start of your business, you earn 25% commissions. This can go as high as 40% once you have climbed up a few ranks.
  • Residual Commissions. This is the commissions you get from the sales made by your downline members.

This video can explain Sipology’s compensation plan better.

Final Verdict – Sipology

Before I end this Sipology review, I would like to share a few more insights that could help you.

Now that you have reached the end of this Sipology review, I would like to commend you for reading up to this point. I hope that you found the answers to your questions about the company. I also hope that you have learned a lot of things about MLMs today.

Before you go, let me share a few more tips and advice that will help you out in the future.

The thing that irritates me the most about MLMs is how they have the audacity to make false claims about the company. Not only that, but they seem to be more than willing to lie just to get their hands on your money.

I did mention earlier that they know exactly what to say in order to manipulate others, right? Well, I am sure that the hunbot you talked to promised you that once you join this company, you will be your own boss. If that is really true, then how come the company has a CEO? Isn’t the CEO the boss?

Also, why would you need to follow sales quotas every month? Isn’t that a rule that was set by the company, too? That means you have to follow guidelines, but why would you need to do so when you are your own boss?

Basically, these companies are all liars, but they don’t care. All they want is money, and even if you give them a lot of money, they will continue asking for more.

A better opportunity awaits you in the next section, so I suggest you check it out.

That’s it for my Sipology review. Hopefully this Sipology review helps with your decision.
