These days, the world’s population is in a constant state of anxiety. What’s happening is that the pandemic is still in full swing. There does not seem to be any sign of improvement to the current situation.

Things do not seem to be looking good, after all. What happens is that people are living on the edge, and they are barely scraping by. People have to get used to survival mode now.

As the future is still very uncertain, most people are saving up as much money as they can. This is why people opt for working two or more jobs at the same time.

I could not blame these people for working themselves to the bone, considering how a lot of companies have enforced pay cuts on them. As if the world cannot get any more unfair.

Who is Tai Lopez?

Tai Lopez Scam Review: Intro

In a notable TEDx Talk, Tai Lopez claimed that he reads a book every day. He is best known as a skilled internet marketer who frequently flaunts his luxurious lifestyle online.

In 2015, Tai began extensively advertising his online programs, mostly through paid YouTube commercials. He has since been a divisive figure in the online world since his debut.

Many people saw him as a con artist who sold “get rich quick schemes”. Judging from what I have found regarding him, it looks like those critics were right.

There were many questions raised about his riches, including whether he genuinely owned all of the Ferraris and Lamborghinis he showed off in his videos.

He is also being questioned as well as if the enormous property he showed off in his videos was merely a rental.

Tai, on the other hand, has amassed a significant following and a dedicated fan base.

There were a lot of celebrities and prominent businessmen who appeared to be friends with him. Although he hadn’t disappeared for years, his internet enterprises appeared to be thriving much better than when he originally emerged on everyone’s screen on YouTube.

How Did Tai Lopez Get Rich?

Tai Lopez Scam Review: Assets

Tai appeared as a millionaire on an episode of The Millionaire Matchmaker in 2008. Well, where did he get all the money?

Apparently, Tai worked for GE Capital from 2001 to 2003. Subsequently, he founded LLG Financial Inc, a wealth management firm.

According to LinkedIn, Tai was only active in this firm until 2007. However, it looks like that’s where he started earning a substantial income and developing his net worth.

There are rumors that Tai owns real estate and perhaps several nightclubs, which he may have started investing in approximately 2007. However, I am unable to substantiate such assertions.

During the period 2010 to 2015, Tai was the owner of a number of dating websites that were quite popular.

The reported revenue was $2.8 million and a workforce of 14 for those sites. It is unclear what are the exact figures, though.

Where Does Tai Lopez Get His Money?

Tai appears to have started making a lot of money online through a slew of now-defunct dating services. Some of these services were accused of luring clients with phony profiles of attractive matches.

Tai began designing and marketing online courses in 2014, with his famous 67 Steps curriculum as his first offering. According to our findings, online courses are still likely to remain his main source of revenue.

His other income streams include sponsorships, coaching and consulting services, and affiliate marketing.

How Rich is Tai Lopez?

Tai Lopez shows off his wealth in truly boisterous ways. He seems to own a lot of fancy cars, and he loves flexing them. He is a fan of luxury vehicles, and his garage is full of them.

Well, there are some controversies surrounding his wealth, as people have pointed out that he rents some of his cars instead of actually owning them.

This means that it is quite unclear to know which of his vehicles are leased or owned. Either way, it is hard to tell, considering all we have is his word.

Tai has been shooting a lot of his videos from the same house for a few years now. Rumors say that the house is actually rented, as some people have found a listing for it online.

Well, if it is a lease too, then it seems like Tai is paying to use that house long-term. It seems like he is living there too.

So yeah, it seems like Tai is another “fake it ‘til you make it” kind of guru. Well, pretty typical. I am not surprised by this, considering how questionable his marketing practices are.

Is Tai Lopez Legit?

Tai Lopez Scam Review: Cars

In this section of the Tai Lopez scam review, I will reveal whether or not you can still trust this guy.

I have seen a lot of complaints regarding this guy. A lot of people are complaining that Tai has deceived them. Unsurprisingly, really.

It looks like Tai is a great pretender. He pretends to be a successful businessman who knows his way around generating thousands in income. On the other hand though, what it looks like to me is that his previous businesses all failed.

Does that still give him credibility as a mentor? Well, I don’t think so. I am not so sure about if he is trustworthy or not. Running a successful business compared to having numerous failed ones is a lot better, right?

Well, I am not too pleased with his track record so far. Sure, he became a millionaire by 2008 and became internet famous for a while, but that still does not convince me of his credentials.

What I noticed with Tai’s courses though is that he uses some questionable marketing tactics. He tries to appear like someone you could trust, when he isn’t.

On the other hand though, I wouldn’t label him a scammer. After all, he does provide access to his online courses once you make your payment. He doesn’t run away with your money.

My main concern here is the way he tries to sell his programs. His tactics are pretty deceiving.

Tai’s Reputation

Tai made a lot of money by running dating websites from 2010 to 2015. All of them are defunct now.

The main complaint of people using his website is that they are getting fake matches. Some people explained that they are getting matches from people who are clearly out of their league.

What this does is that it made people sign up for premium accounts. After that, the matches have stopped contacting them. What the heck?

Well, I guess it is pretty clear at this point that those dating sites were created for a sole purpose — scamming lonely people looking for love.

Good thing those websites have been shut down by 2016.

Can Tai Lopez Make You Rich?

There is a possibility, yes. You can get rich by utilizing the methods that he will be teaching you.

On the other hand though, Tai has a disclaimer that he attaches to his emails, stating that his methods are not guaranteed to make money. There is a possibility that you can make money, make lesser than you expected, or not make money at all.

This means that even if you sign up for one of his online courses, you are not guaranteed to make any money. This means that even if you pay him thousands of dollars, you are not guaranteed any return.

Sounds pretty ridiculous, right? Well, I wouldn’t be surprised with that if I were you. Most gurus love showing off their wealth but they cannot even guarantee that their online courses actually work.

If you ask me, it is better if you save your money instead

Does Tai Give Refunds?

Tai promises people that he is willing to refund them. However, I have found some complaints regarding people who found it difficult to get their money back. I’m not surprised anymore.

Before you can get a refund for your purchase, you would have to go through a lot of hurdles. You need to contact the support team via phone calls, emails, and live chat. Pray that you get a response.

From these options though, people said that the best way to contact them is via live chat.

I suggest that you read the fine print before enrolling in any of his courses though. This way, you will know the circumstances which will entitle you to a refund.

Are Tai’s Courses Good?

Some of his courses are worth your time, but there are some that aren’t. Remember to do your research first before you make your purchase.

If you ask, Tai’s 67 Steps program is simply not worth it. That course is just full of vague information that you can easily found with a few quick searches on the internet. You don’t need to pay him for that, since it is just a collection of knowledge that already exists in other reputable sources.

On the other hand though, some courses of his are worth considering. His social media marketing course called SMMA 2.0 can be worth the money, considering how comprehensive it is.

That program also includes training from various experts in the industry, and you can get it for a low price though. It goes on sale from time to time, and has a pretty active private community.

Why I Don’t Recommend Tai Lopez

Tai Lopez Scam Review: Not recommended

In this section of the Tai Lopez scam review, I will tell you why I don’t recommend trusting him.

The main reason why I don’t recommend trusting this guy is simple. He appears as a typical guru who flaunts his wealth, tries to rope in people into believing that he has the secret to success, and tries to cover up the tracks of his failed ventures.

I’m pretty sure that he is not the first guru you encounter in the internet. These days, they seem to be emerging at an alarming rate. Some people who enjoy some kind of success over their business think that they are unstoppable, and are capable of teaching others how to be successful.

Well, let me reveal to you one thing. Being successful does not really equate to knowing how to teach others. That is a whole other discipline that these gurus do not seem to understand.

People can be successful through their own means, but that does not mean that they are automatically great teachers. A great teacher does not have to be successful, if you ask me. They just need to know how to teach others well.

These gurus think that a lot of people are dumb enough to fall for their tactics, and that pisses me off. They act like they know everything, and that we, the common people, cannot be successful without their help.

Having a mentor could indeed help you greatly, but on the other hand, I suggest looking for a mentor who is trustworthy and has credibility. Someone who is not like Tai Lopez.

Final Verdict – Tai Lopez

Tai Lopez Scam Review: Guru 2

Before I end this Tai Lopez scam review, I would like to share a few more insights that could help you.

It doesn’t seem like Tai is a scammer. He just happens to be one shady individual, who does not know how to stop. People already know that his past businesses defrauded a lot, but he still chose to stick around.

Yeah, I am not entirely sure how these gurus function. They seem to have a really faulty moral compass. If you ask me, those people who are truly sorry for their past actions wouldn’t resurface again and just lay low for the rest of their life.

But not Tai. It seems like he is still the typical guru who tries to win people over by showing them luxury items they claim to own. Let’s face it — a lot of people are looking for ways to make money fast, and those people are the ones these gurus are seeking.

Tai may be running a legitimate business now, but his marketing practices are still questionable at best. He still employs the usual guru method, thinking that he is smart enough to pull others into his cult of sorts.

Well, I am glad that you get to read this review about him. I guess you are not really the type of person who is easily fooled, as you are willing to do your research.

In the next section, I will present to you an opportunity that you can do easily without the help of any guru. It is easy to master too.
