The Rainmaker Challenge Review: Chelsey and Stephen Scam?

Today we will be reviewing a program known as The Rainmaker Challenge. Is The Rainmaker Challenge legit? Find out in this The Rainmaker Challenge review.

Working five days a week is definitely tough, especially if you are stressed to the point of burnout. Additionally, if you believe you are being underpaid for all of your efforts, it adds to your stress.

In fact, I believe it is reasonable to say that most of us have been there. It’s a reasonable issue, especially since most of us are still dealing with the financial consequences of the ongoing pandemic.

Saving money is really important nowadays. Because you never know whether you’ll have a job the next day, it’s a smart idea to save as much money as possible. This is why people look into ways to boost their income through side hustles.

Side hustles have become popular these days. This is because a lot of people are still working from home, meaning that they have the free time to get into them. Some common side hustles I found are freelance gigs and small online businesses.

Either way, both are equally challenging to start, especially if you are working full-time.

That is how you came upon The Rainmaker Challenge. Will the program help you achieve the financial freedom you have been striving for?

Before you decide to commit to this program, you should read this The Rainmaker Challenge review first. You should check if it is worth your time before you pay for it.

What is The Rainmaker Challenge?

The Rainmaker Challenge intro

The Rainmaker Challenge is a program which is designed to teach the
Amazon FBA business model. It is designed and run by Stephen and Chelsey Diaz, also known as The Rainmaker Family. This program is one of their many income streams.

After reviewing my fair share of Amazon FBA courses and programs, I could confidently say that this one is no different from those. This is another program which claims that it can provide you the right formula for success.

Well, I have no doubt in my mind that there is potential in making money by selling in Amazon. After all, it is a pretty massive online retailer. Actually, Amazon Prime has now 150 million Prime subscribers. These people not only shop on Amazon; they even pay subscription fees for their shopping.

If you an avid reader of this blog, you are probably already familiar with all these gurus peddling Amazon FBA courses. As the statistics reveal, there are 6 million products sold on the website everyday.

That is a gold mine right there, if you get the hang of selling on Amazon.  This program promises you that you can turn the opportunity over your favor.

The Rainmaker Challenge Overview

The Rainmaker Challenge is divided into 7 days. I guess this means that you can complete the program within 7 days. This does not mean that you are pressured to do that, though. It is just designed in a way so that you can learn about Amazon FBA in your own pace, with related topics grouped together.

Their so-called “rainmaker method” promises that you will be presented with an opportunity where you can sell your very own branded products. They claim that you need not ship any items, nor neglect your family by working a lot.

Included with the modules are some bonuses, which are supplementary resources you can get ideas from.

I will be breaking down the contents of the course in this section of this The Rainmaker Challenge review.

Day 1: Where Do I Get Started?

This portion is all about introducing you to the course and to the business model. You are presented with some information regarding how to get started with the business, as well some general concepts about Amazon FBA.

It also promises that it can show you a hack which can help you become successful with the business. I don’t think such hack exists though, so keep your expectations low.

Day 2: How To Do This In Less Than 60 Mins a Day

This part is all about discussing to you how you can make passive income. It also touches on points such as how you can make it work by only putting in a few hours a day.

Well, it is true that you can make passive income on Amazon, but that only works for people who have been doing it for a long time. I don’t think it’s something that a beginner to the business model should be expecting.

The module also includes testimonials from other people who enrolled in the program. I don’t think you should keep your hopes up for these anecdotes though, as people differ in circumstances. What worked for them does not guarantee that in can work for you.

Day 3: How To Powerfully Profit From The Start

This module is all about the ways which can help you to start selling on Amazon. As a newbie, I think that you can use these information to your advantage. It promises that it can help you profit even if you are just starting.

Along with that, the module also promises that it can help you find which products you will definitely profit from. Well, that is simply a sugarcoated way to say that they will be teaching you product research. Nothing new to see here, folks.

Day 4: How To Make Your Business ‘Hands Off’

This will introduce you to the tools that will help you manage your business. The module promises that you can master it all within one hour, which I highly doubt.

Along with that, you also get a more in-depth lesson regarding product research, which can help you find the best products that are sure to give you profits.

You are also promised that you can make the business work even if you do not have any unique product ideas. I highly doubt that.

Day 5: Find High Profit Products to Sell

This is another deep dive to the product research products. It includes a step-by-step guide which will teach you how to you can tell which products you can profit from.

I think this whole course is all about product research and sourcing, which barely scratches the surface on Amazon FBA.

Day 6: Go From A Product Idea To Physical
Reality

The module will tell you how to source your products from manufacturers. Basically, The Rainmaker Challenge is a program which advertises the dropshipping model.

Well, I doubt that they have any special techniques with finding suppliers, so overall, I am pretty disappointed with the course.

Day 7: How Do I Accelerate And Take My Business Bottomline To The Moon?

The final part of the program is about how to look for a way to make passive income with Amazon FBA. Basically, it is just some tips which will definitely tell you that you need to hire a team to manage the business for you.

Bonus 1: How To Build Your Business During Naptime

This is a book about building a business that can earn passive income.

Bonus 2: Heather’s Secret Tool

This is a book about how Heather quit her job, bought her dream home and RV, and how she enjoys passive income while enjoying her adventures. It also discusses the special tool she utilizes in order to find the best profitable products to list on Amazon.

Bonus 3: How To Get Amazon Products For FREE

This will show you how you can products for free, as well as grow your business. Yeah, that sounds really vague and untrue.

Bonus 4: Our Power Profit Tool

This tool supposedly helped the owners and the students to save money from making costly mistakes. To be honest, they made it sound like it’s something really great. I doubt it can really teach you what it promises, though.

Bonus 5: Followers2Dollars Instagram Course

I am not so confident about this course, as it promises you that it can help you convert your followers to paying customers. I think it mainly involves blasting them with random DMs as well as bothering them incessantly with your business ideas.

Well, that makes me not so confident. It’s always a bad idea to try make your friends buy from you by bothering them.

Bonus 6: Intro To Our Product Sourcing Agent

I think this bonus is just about the owners introducing you to their supplier. I am pretty sure that they get a cut once you decide to source your products from them, too.

Pricing

The program is valued at $650+, but when I went to the website to check, they are giving me a deal of $37 for the whole thing.

Well, that is quite cheap, considering that you will be getting access to the program and the bonuses. However, I doubt that $37 is all you will be paying once you give them your credit card details.

What I noticed with these “cheap” courses is that they usually have a lot of upsells. Other than that, they make you believe that what you pay will give you lifetime access. I think that’s the case with this one.

My Favorite Program

FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) Explained

Because the business model concept is rather straightforward to comprehend, I feel a quick summary would suffice. This section of the The Rainmaker Challenge review explains how the business works. It’s quite simple, really.

You contact a supplier for the merchandise you wish to outsource, then have them sent to an Amazon warehouse. You can keep track of your store inventory easily by using the online portal.

When a customer purchases a product you have listed in your online storefront, Amazon fulfills the order by retrieving items from your warehouse inventory and sending them directly to the customer.

This business model gets rid of the need to acquire and rent a warehouse for an exorbitant price because merchandise usually take up a lot of space. You’ll save money on logistics as well, because Amazon will take care of everything.

Why I Don’t Recommend Amazon FBA

FBA works

Normal profit percentages, according to my research, are about 10%, which is a pretty low number. Remember that these figures are based on the revenues of experienced vendors; novices’ earnings would be far lower.

Prepare yourself since the competition appears to be fierce. Keep in mind that there is a lot of competition in the industry. To set yourself apart from the competition, you’ll have to put up a lot of work.

This part of my The Rainmaker Challenge review will explain why I don’t think the business model is right for everyone.

Even better, I recommend starting a part-time business that requires little of your time.

Long Startup Time

You must first complete a number of tiresome and tedious steps before you can start selling on Amazon. Setting up your company, locating suppliers, and advertising it takes a lot of time and work. You may not start generating income for months, if not a year.

Very Little Quality Control

You won’t be able to thoroughly analyze the quality of your items if you plan to outsource them. This means that you won’t be able to ensure that they fulfill your specifications. Is the product of good quality and will it last long? Is it worth the price you’re charging people for it?

It is well known that mass-produced goods, especially those from China, are of inferior quality. Remember that low-cost goods are frequently mass-produced, making quality control difficult.

Furthermore, if your supplier sends out merchandise that are broken or defective, your consumers will almost certainly demand a refund and post a negative review.

Very Low Profit Margin

The dropshipping market isn’t exactly prosperous. You’ll need to put in a lot of work if you want to generate more money, but success is not assured.

Even though the money you’ll save tempts you to get into the business, Amazon FBA isn’t a really solid business strategy.

Saturated Market

On Amazon’s marketplace, there are already far too many sellers vying for customers. The products you want to sell are very certainly currently available on the market and from other vendors.

As a result, customers are more likely to forget about your presence on the market.

Even before you begin selling, the deck is set against you. It’s difficult to stand out on a platform with so many seasoned sellers, and it’s impossibly hard, in my opinion, to tap into a niche they’re unfamiliar with.

Price Wars

People are more inclined to purchase things that are on sale because they believe they are receiving a good deal.

If one store has a sale, the others are required to do the same. If they don’t, all of the profits will be funneled into that one business.

To keep your profit margins intact, you’ll almost certainly have to minimize product expenditures. When you cut costs in the manufacturing process, the end product’s quality often decreases as a result.

My Favorite Program

Is The Rainmaker Challenge a Scam?

I do not really have enough proof to say that this program is a scam. After all, you actually get access to it once you pay.

What I am mainly concerned about is that they are making people believe that $37 is all they need to spend to get access to it. There is a 12 hour timer for this “special deal”, however, I doubt that timer is real. It is probably placed there to make you feel pressured to cough up some money.

I don’t trust programs which make use of the false scarcity method. It just shows the lengths they are willing to go into just to get you to hand them money. It is predatory and it has to stop.

Also, The Rainmaker Challenge seems very shady from the get-go. Like I said before, expect a lot of upsells from this one. You are probably looking at more than $3k just to gain complete access to the whole course.

My advice? Do not enroll in this program. It is not worth your time and money. The course is basically just information stitched together to make you think that the owners themselves designed it.

Well, it is not. The information covered by the course are the same ones you can easily find online with quick searches. Save your money and invest it elsewhere.

Final Verdict – The Rainmaker Challenge

Before I end this The Rainmaker Challenge review, I would like to share a few more insights that could help you.

For a variety of reasons, which I’m sure I’ve already said, I can’t recommend Amazon FBA as a business opportunity. This isn’t as straightforward as it looks, and you’ll need to understand a few complicated concepts before getting started.

You must be prepared to sell on Amazon for an long period of time before you begin. It’s not as simple as putting your items on Amazon and looking for a supplier that can provide you with said items. A one-man team would be unsuccessful due to the large number of daily obligations to attend to.

Because you’ll be running multiple ads to promote your store, you’ll need to spend quite a lot of money even if you don’t handle your item inventory directly. It is expensive to advertise, especially on social media.

Because the return on investment is so minimal, it just isn’t worth the time and effort. As a side business, it’s not worth it.

In my opinion, a good side business is one that you can do in your spare time. Simply said, this consumes a lot of time to prepare, meaning that it is not a good side hustle to get into.

However, I’m aware of a terrific side hustle that doesn’t demand a lot of effort or money. It also does not need a thorough understanding of a lot of complicated business principles. More information about this may be found in the next section.
