The Virtual Savvy Review – Abbey Ashley Scam?

Today, we are going to talk about The Virtual Savvy. Is it legit? Find out more in this review.

People are often on the lookout for ways to earn money online. That is the reason why there’s so many different training programs that sort of get people’s attention. There are a ton of ways that people can do to earn money. Most of the time, it’s going to be either online marketing or e-commerce.

Even with those two, there are a lot of ways that you can potentially earn money within those categories. There have been multiple training programs about dropshipping. I’m not even kidding. You can find reviews for a handful of them on this very website. It’s that common. There seems to be no end for training programs about it.

One of the ways that you can potentially earn money is by becoming a virtual assistant. Perhaps, when you hear the words “virtual assistant,” you might be thinking of either Alexa, Siri or Google Assistant. I mean, it’s technically correct. But the type of virtual assistant that I am talking is a person who assists another person virtually, i.e. via the internet.

Because you’re assisting people virtually, you don’t worry about your commute. So many people nowadays are becoming virtual assistants due to that kind of flexibility. I mean, we’ve been through a lot within the past couple of years. And most of it was in our homes.

So when I heard that you could learn how to become a virtual assistant by studying from The Virtual Savvy, I was intrigued. What will you get out this program?

The Virtual Savvy Review: Quick Details

  • Name: The Virtual Savvy
  • Founder: Abbey Ashley
  • Website:
  • Socials: Instagram, YouTube
  • Type: Training program
  • Niche: Virtual assisting
  • Recommendation: While it is easy to learn how to become a virtual assistant, I don’t particularly recommend this training program. There’s nothing wrong with the content in the program. But the cost to access it may be a lot for a ton of people. Luckily, it seems that they offer at least free training in case you don’t want to fully commit to the program.

Who Is Abbey Ashley?

There isn’t much to the life of Abbey Ashley that you could find outside of her official about page on The Virtual Savvy website. Whenever I try to research about the people who created a certain training program, I would often search for interviews that they did. It happens quite a few times in certain niches. You’d be surprised by how many podcasts exist that are about people starting an online business.

Based on what’s on the official about page, the seeds for The Virtual Savvy were planted by the time that Abbey Ashley gave birth to her daughter Evie. By that point, Abbey had some experience working administrative jobs to two different employers. Her husband had to go back to work. Abbey decided that she should at least try to find ways to earn some additional income.

Unfortunately, none of the things she did gained any traction. Then a friend of hers suggested that she try out something called virtual assistance. She did a bit of research and found out that she already had the necessary skills to do it. Like I mentioned, she had already done administrative jobs here and there. Eventually, she managed to get a client.

At some point, she was getting a lot of work. So she decided to hire some of her friends to help. That was the point where she decided to pursue this whole virtual assistance thing head on. By 2016, The Virtual Savvy was born.

My Favorite Program

What Is The Virtual Savvy?

Similar to a few different training programs I have reviewed, The Virtual Savvy started because a ton of people kept asking Abbey Ashley how she was able to do this kind of work. Surely, there would have been some resources already available out there on the internet at this point. It was 2016. But you are finding information from so many different places. And training programs, such as The Virtual Savvy, consolidate all of that information into one place.

It seems that The Virtual Savvy is no longer a training program. They do offer a free training video that you have to sign up for before you can watch. The website seems to be the hub for all of the things that relate to the Savvy brand. This happens surprisingly frequent whenever a training program grows exponentially. The focus doesn’t really change all that much. But it has lead to different ventures that still connect to the main brand.

Most of what you’re going to find on The Virtual Savvy’s website is a blog where you learn quick tips on how to start your own VA business. It’s just quick and easy reads. But all of them still lead to the training program that is now called the Savvy System.

It makes sense for businesses like these to offer a sample of what you could potentially get from their programs. There’s nothing particular wrong with the methods being used. They’re just using the sales funnel technique. And most other businesses use that technique to turn leads into actual customers. That’s how you entice people to try out your paid courses.

The Virtual Savvy System

It seems that the training program that The Virtual Savvy offers has now turned into a year program called the Savvy System. There’s not a lot of information currently available on the website right now. They’ve opened a waitlist so that you’ll know exactly if they’ve opened up the enrollment for the program. There’s three tiers that you can pay for. The Lite tier costs $997 upfront or a 12-month installment worth $97. Then there’s the Pro tier that costs $1,497 upfront or a 12-month installment worth $147. Finally, there’s the Ultimate tier that costs $2,997 upfront or a 12-month installment worth $297. They also offer an discount when the enrollment opens up again.

The differences between the tiers are the amount of content that you’ll get out of it. All of the tiers offer the actual Savvy System course, a merch kit that includes a shirt and mug, access to the VA template vault, templates for a contract and portfolio. Succeeding tiers include access to a private forum as well as monthly coaching calls.

It’s definitely a lot to pay for when it comes to a training program. But this is the first time I’ve seen one of the programs offer merch. I’m not really if the other features justify the cost of succeeding tiers. You’re paying $500 more for the Pro tier and $2,000 more for the Ultimate tier. You get lifetime access to the course if you pay for any of the tier. So I guess you could possibly recoup the costs once you find a client?

Final Verdict – The Virtual Savvy Review

I can’t recommend this particular program to you. And it mostly has to do with the cost of it. Looking at the module for the actual program, there isn’t really anything there that you couldn’t find elsewhere. You could definitely learn everything on your own if you really want to. The accessibility of it all is just better in the program.

But like I mentioned, they offer a free training video. And all it takes to access it is by filling in your first name and e-mail address. Once you’ve done that, you can now watch a 20-minute or so overview of how you can start your journey to becoming a virtual assistant. You can also read some of the blog posts on the Virtual Savvy website. It takes a bit of time to build your administrative skills. But once you’ve had enough of practice, you could probably find work on your own.

If you’re really willing to pay for it, go ahead. It is possible that you will earn back the money you paid for the course within a few months of working as a virtual assistant. There are a lot of people on the internet who are looking for that kind of assistance.
