Today we will be reviewing a company called Touchstone Essentials. Is Touchstone Essentials a scam? Find out in this Touchstone Essentials review.
If you haven’t heard of Touchstone Essentials before, then you are not the only one. In fact, I would be more surprised if the company exists without someone telling you that it does. The reason why you are here today is because you encountered a hunbot in social media who tried selling you something or recruiting you.
I get that you got a little tempted, so you decided to research the company. I understand that you want to make extra money, but if you think joining an MLM is the way to do it, then let me stop you there.
If you think that you should have heard of this company before, well, you shouldn’t. MLMs are pretty obscure because they do little to no advertising. They leave that job to their members.
I suggest that you take your time and read this Touchstone Essentials review to learn more about the company. Sit back, relax, and maybe grab some popcorn as you are in for a ride today.
Before we go further in this Touchstone Essentials review, I will define two terms first: MLM and pyramid scheme.
MLM members make money by selling products and recruiting new members. In pyramid schemes, members could only make money by recruiting people. Pyramid schemes are illegal and banned by the FTC.
As a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with Touchstone Essentials in any way.
Hopefully this Touchstone Essentials review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

What is Touchstone Essentials?

Touchstone Essentials is a multi-level marketing company that sells CBD products that aim to improve one’s health. The company was founded by Norwood Eddie Stone in 2012, who is a successful entrepreneur believing that the key to living a healthy lifestyle is tapping natural resources.
It seems like there are not much information available online about Touchstone Essentials. However, they make it known that their main goal is to improve one’s health by using natural resources in the best possible way.
The company produces CBD-infused products that are focused on various health conditions. At the moment, Touchstone Essentials is one of the most stable CBD MLMs in the market, and they are planning to expand operations in the years to come.

How Do MLMs Work?
Welcome to the section where we talk about MLMs in general. In this part, we talk about why MLMs are the worst, why I don’t recommend MLMs, and why I think all MLMs should be banned already.
This is actually my favorite part of MLM reviews is because I have reviewed a lot of them, and with that, I was able to notice the differences between each and every one of them.
To be honest, there are not much differences between MLMs, except for what bonuses and benefits they offer in their compensation plan, and of course, the products they sell. Other than this, MLMs just look like re-skinned versions of each other.
Well, it’s not that surprising, to be honest. The fact that there are a lot of them means that they are pretty profitable. It seems like whatever business model they have put in place seem to be working in their favor.
However, how do you think MLMs managed to go this far? Through having their members pay for it, of course. If you are wondering how come MLMs kept popping out from everywhere, then here is your answer. As long as there are gullible people out there desperate to make extra cash, MLMs will keep coming.
This is the thing that pisses me off the most, to be honest. It’s not MLMs are free to join, either. You have to pay hundreds or even thousands of dollars just to start operating your small business.
They make you think that paying all these money will guarantee you success in the company. I wouldn’t believe that paying $99 would guarantee that I am on the way to being a millionaire.
MLMs are a big waste of time and money, and have no place in modern society.
Is Touchstone Essentials a Pyramid Scheme?
Since Touchstone Essentials members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that Touchstone Essentials is not a pyramid scheme.
However, since Touchstone Essentials is still an MLM, do not expect to make money if you have no plans on recruiting people. Recruiting will earn you significantly more money than actual product selling, and is more encouraged.
This just makes Touchstone Essentials look like a pyramid scheme in disguise, doesn’t it?

Like Vida Divina, Essante Organics, and Trevo, Touchstone Essentials is not a pyramid scheme.
Is Touchstone Essentials a Scam?
No, Touchstone Essentials is not a scam.
However, if you think this is enough for you to jump in Touchstone Essentials’ so-called opportunity straight away, then I suggest that you hold your horses. This is just the most basic thing, so don’t go signing up for this company right away.
Before making your decision, I suggest that you do a thorough research on the MLM first. You can consult some of the sources I listed below. Take note that you can definitely consult any source you want to, but the sources I listed below are the best kinds to consult, for various reasons listed.
What Sources Should You Look For?
There are three kinds of sources that you can consult in your MLM research. There are other kinds of sources, but I believe that these three sources will be of the most help to you.
When it comes to researching MLMs, the source that I could best recommend are third-party reviews, like this Touchstone Essentials review that you are reading right now. Most articles about these particular MLMs are written by the companies themselves, so of course those are going to be biased. Third-party reviews are written by individuals who are unaffiliated with the companies, so you can be assured that the information you are getting are only facts gained from hours of research.
I also recommend internet forums that discuss MLMs actively. You will be surprised by how many internet communities are out there that discuss MLMs in a daily basis. By one click of your mouse, you can easily browse one. As these forums are quite active, you will assured that everyday, you are getting new information.
Another source I highly recommend are testimonies from ex-members. These people have worked in MLMs before, so they have knowledge of some things that the companies do not want to go public. They also have knowledge on how the companies pay their members and if they are being treated fairly.
How to Make Money from Touchstone Essentials
Since Touchstone Essentials is an MLM, there are only two ways to make money with the company. and these are:
- Selling products
- Recruiting members
These are only the basic ways to make money in Touchstone Essentials, but bonuses and benefits are also available as long as you can qualify for them. Qualifying is easier said than done, though.
In order to qualify for these bonuses, you would have to build a downline. That is where the recruiting aspect comes in. You need to sponsor people and you would have to persuade them to keep ordering products from you so you could earn commissions.
This is how you can get the passive income that the company promises. It is passive since you do not have to work so hard, and all you have to do is convince your downline to keep ordering products so you can earn money.
This simply means that the more people under you, the more money you can make.
Remember that the MLM business model is not sustainable, so as time goes by, you will run out of people to recruit.
MLMs do not really care about how many products you sell. What they care about is how many you buy and how many people you can bring in.

How Much Can You Make?
Touchstone Essentials does not publish an income disclosure statement. What this means is that we have no valid data we can use as reference to know how much money the members are making as they sign up for the company.
This is a vital piece of information because potential members have the right to know what they are getting into. They need this piece of information to know how much they can make once they sign up. Also, what is the point of doing a side hustle if you are not making money from it anyway?
It just seems like Touchstone Essentials is hiding something. Because they are acting like they are guilty, it is very likely that the members do not make money at all.
Things I Like in Touchstone Essentials
Established Company
Touchstone Essentials was established in 2012, which makes the company up and running for almost ten years now. It is quite impressive knowing that. Since they have been in business for this long, this just means that the company is being run smoothly by whoever is managing it.
Most MLMs do not even live to see up to three years, so this means that Touchstone Essentials did a great job for staying in business for this long. In all the years they spent in the business, they have probably established a loyal customer base by now.
Things I Dislike in Touchstone Essentials
Expensive Products
Here we are again with a company who thinks that pricing their products expensively would attract customers to buy from them, when all that is doing is push them away. Also, with a quick internet search, people could compare prices with other brands selling the same products.
Most MLMs sell products that are worse counterparts of already existing products in the market. Also, customers are more likely to buy from non-MLM companies, seeing as how MLMs themselves have ruined their own reputation.
For an obscure company like Touchstone Essentials, they need customers. However, they aren’t coming at all because of the hefty prices of the products.
Saturated Market
There are already a lot of companies out there selling the same products as Touchstone Essentials. The health and wellness market is pretty competitive, and a lot of non-MLM companies have already cemented their names as the brands that people trust. Touchstone Essentials cannot really stand out against competition that tough, right?
Also, to be fair, a lot of companies sell better products at cheaper prices, which could be readily bought anywhere without the hassle of going through the complicated ordering process that MLMs like to use.
Since non-MLM companies do proper marketing and advertising, customers are choosing them. Touchstone Essentials does none of that, which explains why little to no one knows that the company exists.
It is an MLM
This is an MLM, so it means that a lot of people definitely failed in this venture. In fact, 99% of people who join MLMs fail to make money, and they do not even earn back their initial investment.

Final Verdict – Touchstone Essentials
Before I end this Touchstone Essentials review, I would like to share a few more insights that could help you.
MLMs like Touchstone Essentials promise you success just by trying them out. It is not free to join, but what they often say to persuade you is that this opportunity can be your key to being rich.
I mean, with today’s economy, only the rich are living comfortably. Most of us are doing our best just to put food in the table and pay our bills. Some are even more unfortunate, as they have to live day by day, unsure if they can even eat that day.
Most people want to make more money than they are currently making, which is why they are trying their best to look for side hustles that could potentially boost their earnings. This is where MLMs come in to fill that gap, supposedly.
However, from what I have learned so far after reviewing a lot of MLMs, most people who have joined ended up broke or in debt. Isn’t it quite ironic how a side hustle managed to control one’s life?
This is because the MLM business model is made only to serve those at the very top, with no regard about what’s happening to the ones at the bottom. They don’t care about you. All they want is your money.
So if you are thinking what to do with the hundreds or even thousands of dollars that you want to invest, I suggest not investing it in an MLM.
That’s it for my Touchstone Essentials review. Hopefully this Touchstone Essentials review helps with your decision.
