Trevo Review: Will This MLM Bring You Success?

Trevo Review: Will This MLM Bring You Success?

Today we will be reviewing a company called Trevo. Is Trevo a scam? Find out in this Trevo review.

If you haven’t heard about Trevo before, then do not fret as not a lot of people know about this company. In fact, you are a part of majority of the population that has no idea that Trevo exists, until you encountered a hunbot in social media. That encounter made you ask yourself, “Is Trevo a scam?”, and that is what brought you here today.

The main reason why you have not heard about this company before is because it is an MLM. If this is your first time reading an MLM review, then I think I owe you an explanation about that.

MLMs do not do any advertising. That work is done by their members, the people who pay a startup fee to start their business with the company. They must be earning a lot of money, judging on how hard they work, right? Well, that is where you’re wrong.

That is just the icing on the cake. I suggest you sit back and relax as you are in for a ride in this Trevo review today.

Before we go further in this Trevo review, I will define two terms first: MLM and pyramid scheme.

MLM members make money by selling products and recruiting new members. In pyramid schemes, members could only make money by recruiting people. Pyramid schemes are illegal and banned by the FTC.

As a disclaimer, I am not affiliated with Trevo in any way.

Hopefully this Trevo review can help you decide whether you want to sign up for the company or not.

What is Trevo?

Trevo is a multi-level marketing company that sells health products. They are known for their juice that bears the same name as the company.

Trevo Review - Trevo juice

The company was founded in 2010 by Mayank Jain. Trevo’s main selling point is promoting a healthy lifestyle with the help of the products they formulated, and their marketing is centered towards their health juice.

They refer to their juice as “super juice” because it has a lot of health benefits.

How Do MLMs Work?

Welcome to the section where we talk about how MLMs work, why they only bring despair, and why I think all MLMs should be shut down by the FTC.

Today, I will be talking about how MLMs lie to your face about how wonderful it is to work for them.

The mere thought of having MLM hunbots in social media is enough to make me question the real motives of their business. Most of the time, we hear that in MLMs, “you can be your own boss”, and “you can work at your own pace”. The reality is far from that.

I have reviewed a lot of MLMs already, and I never encountered one where you can be your own boss and you can get control with your hours. To be honest, being in an MLM is far too stressful than working a normal job.

In MLMs, you need to meet quotas. Yes, you would have to meet sales numbers in order to continue selling the company’s products. To be honest, since MLMs are so obscure, you will be lucky to even make one sale a month. If you are that desperate to make your quota, then you will have to buy products for ‘personal use’.

This is the part that doesn’t make sense. Why would you need to buy products for your own use when the reason why you joined the business is to make money?

Also, since the company does not do any advertising, you have to bear that brunt of work by yourself. Trust me, this is easier said than done, especially if you are not paying for ads.

MLMs are a big waste of time and money, and have no place in modern society.

Is Trevo a Pyramid Scheme?

Since Trevo members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it is safe to say that Trevo is not a pyramid scheme.

However, since Trevo is still an MLM, do not expect to make money if you have no plans on recruiting people. Recruiting will earn you significantly more money than actual product selling, and is more encouraged.

This just makes Trevo look like a pyramid scheme in disguise, doesn’t it?

Pyramid scheme vs Multi-level marketing

Like Noni, Organo, and Mannatech, Trevo is not a pyramid scheme.

Is Trevo a Scam?

No, Trevo is not a scam.

However, if you think this is enough for you to jump in Trevo’s so-called opportunity straight away, then I suggest that you hold your horses. This is just the most basic thing, so don’t go signing up for this company right away.

Before making your decision, I suggest that you do a thorough research on the MLM first. You can consult some of the sources I listed below. Take note that you can definitely consult any source you want to, but the sources I listed below are the best kinds to consult, for various reasons listed.

What Sources Should You Look For?

Third-party reviews, like this Trevo review you are reading right now, are well-researched, and since they are not affiliated with the MLM companies, you can be assured that all you will be getting from them are facts. These facts are gained from hours of research, so I definitely recommend checking them out.

If you prefer to interact with people as you research, then I suggest looking through forums. Most forums I could find that discuss MLMs are pretty active, too. This means that with every visit, you can get the freshest information every time. You can also join the discussion with other members to gain valuable insights.

Another type of source that you can consult are ex-member testimonies. These testimonies are available in different forms, ranging from videos, vlogs, blog posts, and podcasts. You can easily find them with a quick internet search, and they are the most helpful sources, in my opinion.

These testimonies are from people who have worked in MLMs before, so they will definitely have information that are not being publicly released by the MLMs they worked out. They have knowledge on how the company runs, how they treat their members, and how much money they really make.

How to Make Money from Trevo

Since Trevo is an MLM, there are only two ways to make money with the company. and these are:

  1. Selling products
  2. Recruiting members

These two methods are the basic ways to earn money in Trevo. However, there are bonuses and benefits that you could qualify for that could boost your earnings.

In order to qualify for such, you would have to build an active downline. To do that, you have to recruit people regularly, as their sales, or rather, the amount of products they buy, contribute to the commissions you receive. Also, building a downline is so much more than recruiting. It requires a lot of work.

This company promises passive income if you join them, but you cannot really earn passive income from sales alone. You would have to keep recruiting people if you want big bucks. That is just the way it goes when it comes to MLMs. It is pretty scummy because you have to drag people into it; people who just want to make money like you do.

Remember that the MLM business model is not sustainable, so as time goes by, you will run out of people to recruit.

MLMs do not really care about how many products you sell. What they care about is how many you buy and how many people you can bring in.

Trevo Products

Trevo Review - Trevo products

Trevo’s products can be divided into the following categories:

  • Trevo – This is the super juice, and their signature product.
  • FP3 – This is a supplement for women that could help with their overall health and sex drive.
  • Shape – This is the company’s weight-loss supplement product.
  • Shield – These are mosquito repellant veggie capsules. Yeah, I am surprised that this exists.
  • Sync – This is Trevo’s line of hemp oil products.
  • RP3 – This is a diet supplement for men that helps with their sex drive.
  • Youth – Trevo’s anti-aging supplements.

You can watch this video to learn more about Trevo’s signature product.

How Much Can You Make?

Trevo doesn’t publish an income disclosure statement, so I cannot really speculate how much their members make. The only thing I could tell you though is that companies should publish that vital piece of information so potential members know if it is even worth it to join the company.

This just makes it seem like Trevo is hiding something. Or, like most MLMs, it is highly likely that Trevo members do not make money at all.

Things I Like in Trevo

Established Company

Trevo was launched in 2001, and they are still in business to this day. This means that the company is stable enough, and that they are being managed properly.

Most MLM companies do not even last three years, and the fact that Trevo is still in business is impressive. I guess that over the years, they have found loyal customers.

Things I Dislike in Trevo

Saturated Market

There are quite a lot of companies selling the same types of products like Trevo, and most of them have existed even before Trevo was launched.

To be honest, there are a lot of companies out there that sell better products for better prices. Trevo also does not stand out, so selling their products are hard.

Also, remember that other companies do advertising and proper marketing, which brings in customers. Trevo doesn’t really do that.

Expensive Products

Trevo’s prices are higher than normal, and that is unsurprising for an MLM. Most MLMs I know of sell worse counterparts of already existing products.

Customers value their money so they are not really open to spending money on stuff that they could get cheaper elsewhere. I also don’t think that people are open to trying Trevo out, especially if they have brands they already trust.

I don’t really get why MLMs do these. They are already obscure, yet they want to price their products higher than normal. It turns off a lot of people.

It is an MLM

This is an MLM, so it means that a lot of people definitely failed in this venture. In fact, 99% of people who join MLMs fail to make money, and they do not even earn back their initial investment.

Trevo Compensation Plan

You can view and access Trevo’s compensation plan by clicking this link.

  • Retail Commissions. You can earn 5 to 20% commissions by selling products.
  • Recruitment Bonuses. You can earn $12 to $228 worth of bonuses by recruiting members to your downline. This depends on your rank.
  • Rank Achievement. You can earn a $500 cash bonus once you get to Bronze and Platinum ranks.
  • Pool Bonus. Members who are eligible for this bonus should be in rank Amethyst or above. They are eligible to divide 15% of the company’s global revenue to themselves.

Final Verdict – Trevo

Before I end this Trevo review, I would like to share a few more insights that could help you.

I am not really one for believing in products like these, especially with how many benefits they list about them. Most of the time, health products like these are just scams. This Trevo review is made to inform you and warn you about the company.

That aside, I stand by my statement that all MLMs are the same. The only difference is the products they sell. All MLMs use the same unsustainable business model where the ones in the very top earn a lot of money by ruining the finances of those at the very bottom. Kind of like a pyramid scheme.

MLMs operate like pyramid schemes. As you can see from the compensation plan, there are more benefits to recruiting than selling.

I guess I found Trevo’s customer base: their members. This is why Trevo sets quotas on how many products their members have to buy per month. After that is done, they do not care if the members could even sell the products they bought.

If you want to make money, I suggest looking elsewhere. There are better opportunities than Trevo out there.

That’s it for my Trevo review. Hopefully this Trevo review helps with your decision.
