X-Factor Method Review: Melvin Soh Scam?

Today we will be reviewing a program known as X-Factor Method. Is X-Factor Method legit? Find out in this X-Factor Method review.

The current condition of affairs on the planet is not getting better. Despite our best efforts, the virus continues to evolve every time we feel we have a chance of destroying it. New types have emerged in only a few months, which isn’t exactly what humanity expected.

I’m sure we all want things to return back to normal as soon as possible. The feeling of finally being able to walk outdoors without needing to wear a mask and being able to be worry-free is what normal is about. It’s discouraging that things aren’t improving.

As a result of the pandemic’s impact, many people have lost their jobs. This is because the epidemic hampered or even disrupted the operations of a number of businesses. Many individuals are pushed into a corner in order to survive.

Many people who were fortunate to keep their jobs turned to side hustles to supplement their income. This might include everything from freelancing work to start-up businesses.

What brought you to this X-Factor Method review is the prospect of making some money on the side. Luckily for you, I did my research, so I’ll be able to tell you whether this program can help you find your way to financial freedom.

Before you decide to commit to this program, you should read this X-Factor Method review first. You should check if it is worth your time before you pay for it.

X-Factor Method Review: Quick Details

  • Name: X-Factor Method
  • Website: https://melvinsoh.com/
  • Type: Online Class/Masterclass
  • Niche: Social Media Marketing
  • Owner: Melvin Soh
  • Price: Approximately$1-5k (one-time payment)
  • Recommended?: No, because the course is expensive and it is no designed for beginners.

What is X-Factor Method?

X-Factor Method is a course, which according t0 Melvin, has managed to help around 800+ clients. These clients were able to get more sales, apparently.

Well, Melvin said that this so-called method was discovered by him when he was studying the most successful businesses in every industry. Well, I highly doubt that he was able to do that, as there are a lot of different industries that exist in the market.

He said that he used this method on the business he owns, and it successfully made him millions. To be fair though, he has no evidence to support this claim of his. He didn’t even mention the name of his business whatsoever.

Well, X-Factor Method is basically a course which is designed for consultants, agency owners, and course creators. It aims to teach how to design good offers that could convert leads into customers.

Basically, it is a course which could help marketers do marketing effectively.

Who is Melvin Soh?

X-Factor Method Review - X-Factor Method owner

Through my research, I was able to find out that there is not much information online about Melvin. He says he is famous though. I was not able to find anything about him that didn’t come from himself, meaning that he could just be making stories.

I wasn’t really able to find any reputable sources mentioning him whatsoever. As expected, of course.

Melvin is an online marketer, and he claims that he has made millions throughout his career. He also claims to be the coach of the most successful and wealthiest marketers and salespeople in the region.

Well, I wasn’t able to find anything to back up that claim, either.

He said that he was able to help increase the revenue of his clients by 3 to 5 times during the 2020, which is when COVID-19 hit. Once again, these are claims he made with no proof.

Melvin dropped out of college at age 20. He met his mentor, Marshall Turber, who helped him make a 5-figure income monthly. Yeah, I am not so sure about that, either.

He claims he is famous, but he only has 10.4k Instagram followers and 74 subscribers on YouTube. He seems to be an active user of both platforms, though.

X-Factor Method Overview

X-Factor Method’s website is as barren as a desert. No, seriously. I am not exaggerating or anything. It is merely one page containing testimonials, which I doubt the authenticity of.

I wanted to know what this course entails, but even though I tried to find what they really teach, I was not able to. Their website is of no help to me either. Looks like I need to sign up before I even get to see their course curriculum.

I was able to get some summaries from other people though. Well, the online course, like I mentioned earlier, is for coaches, course creators, and agency owners. Basically, people who already embraced those as their career choice.

The course aims to teach you how you can stand out in a saturated market, as well as how you can acquire prospects who can potentially purchase from you. Melvin says that there is a secret formula for this, which he refers to as the X-Factor Method.

To be honest, I kind of get why they are trying to hide the course curriculum, because it seems like it rotates around the secret formula, after all. On the other hand, I am disappointed and setting my expectations low.

I have reviewed a lot of courses like this one, and trust me, the more these people hide, the shadier it looks. In my opinion, the course is probably just like the other courses I have reviewed before – shallow and pretentious.

Pricing

Because the website is utterly useless, of course the price is not stated there as well. Speaking from previous experience, I guess I can assume that this course will charge you approximately $1-5k. That is usually what courses like these charge people anyway.

Also, I know that that amount of money is not really what most people have as dispensable cash. This is why I think it would not convince a lot of people that enrolling to the course is a good idea.

To be honest, I think that most of what X-Factor Method has is already available online, from free resources too. If you feel like doing your research, you will be able to find a lot of useful information online without breaking the bank.

Also, it seems like the target market for this course are people who already have a business. This means that if you want a side hustle, then this course will be of no use to you at all.

Is X-Factor Method a Scam?

In this part of the X-Factor Method review, you will know whether you can trust this course or not.

If you ask me, I would definitely say that it does look like a scam. However, I don’t really have any definite proof, so no, the course is not a scam.

It has a lot of red flags though, if you look at it. Crimson red flags, if you ask me. They are glaring and are pretty hard to ignore.

First off, we have a founder who makes a lot of bold claims regarding his background, his success, and his fame. All his claims sound ridiculous, and he provides no semblance of a proof whatsoever about those.

Most gurus I have encountered do the same anyway. Melvin looks like one of them. All bark and no bite.

The useless website is also a major red flag. It looks like an amateur made it too, and if you ask me, it does not look legit. I would not give my credit card details to a website that looks like it was designed by a high school student.

Besides, the website only has one page. It does not look professional at all, and if you ask me, it looks like a website where spam emails direct you to when you click a suspicious link.

Melvin claims that he rakes up millions from his business, but he cannot even afford to have a decent-looking website. How ironic.

Also, he even fails at establishing a social media following. If X-Factor Method is really making the waves like he claims, then why don’t people not know he exists?

If you ask me, I think that most of his profit comes from selling this online course to people, instead of making money from his business using the “secret method”.

So, should you trust him? I don’t think so.

X-Factor Method Pros and Cons

Pros

  • If you are a marketer or a coach, you can learn some information about how you can make more sales.

Cons

  • Melvin makes a lot of claims not backed by any proof, like a typical guru.
  • I was not able to find any verified success stories from people who actually enrolled in the course. The website has some testimonials, but if you ask me, it is very easy to hire people on sites like Fiverr to make these.
  • The so-called secret method sounds made up, and it is possible that it is merely a tactic used to promote how the course is unique from others in the market.
  • The course is definitely overpriced, and it is definitely not worth the money.

Alternatives to X-Factor Method

Marketing

Marketing can be pretty challenging, especially if it is a new brand. A lot of people are already used to buying from leading brands they have grown accustomed to. This means that only a few of them are willing to try out new things.

When it comes to marketing, you have to pay attention to what people want, and convince them using tactics that will make them think that they need the product. Usually, people are easily manipulated to think that some things are better, even when the truth is otherwise.

Final Verdict – X-Factor Method

Before I end this X-Factor Method review, I would like to share a few more insights that could help you.

If you are looking for a course that can help you start a side hustle, then X-Factor Method is not it. It is not a course for people who are about to start a business, as it is targeted towards those who are already running one.

That aside, X-Factor Method is a pretty questionable course, if you ask me. One, we have an owner who likes making ludicrous claims with no proof. Two, we have a useless website that was unable to give us vital information. Three, they rely on a “secret method” which in my opinion, is a load of baloney.

I don’t think signing up for the course, even if you are already a marketer, is a good idea. There are better courses out there if you are really in need of one. This one is just full of red flags, and I don’t think I was able to say anything positive about it.

What you should be looking for in a side hustle is something you can start without having to invest so much money. It should be something that is doable in your free time, and can earn you some passive income.
