Shiv Aiyar’s Zuubly Review – Local SEO Too Saturated?

Today, we’re going to talk about the Zuubly program, by Shiv Aiyar. Is Zuubly something worth it to do? Let’s find out in this Zuubly review.

First of all, let me commend you for doing your due diligence first before you pay any money for this program

As you may already know, there are seemingly an endless number of opportunities out there that claim to help you earn money outside of a 9-5 job. And it’s been heavily promoted by several people who claim to call themselves “gurus” or “experts”.

They will say that thanks to these opportunities, they’re able to achieve financial success in their lives. And they’re willing to present that opportunity to you so you can achieve the same level of success as theirs.

Of course, for a price.

Unfortunately, the legitimacy claims of these people and opportunities can vary.

Some of them are proven to be legit. A few of them are just scams in disguise. Still, others may be legitimate, but they don’t work well according to what you want to do.

That’s why, before you spend your hard-earned money to join any of these opportunities, it’s of utmost importance that you do plenty of research first. So that you can decide for yourself if the opportunity offered is something that you’d like to do, or not.

And this is what this Zuubly review aims to do.

As a disclaimer, this is a fully-independent Zuubly review. And I’m not affiliated with Zuubly and its creators in any form.

What Is Zuubly?

Zuubly Banner

Zuubly may sound like the name of a drink, but actually, it’s the name of an online program that claims to teach people an online business opportunity. The business model they’re going to teach you is “lead generation” via “digital real estate”.

This course will teach you the “Rank-And-Rent” method of lead generation. Which, in a nutshell, is basically you making a simple website, letting it rank on Google Search according to your niche, and then “rent” it to small and local businesses.

It may be a bit confusing to most people, so I’ll explain more of this on the next topic.

How Does The “Rank-And-Rent” Business Model Work?

Since in internet marketing jargon, it’s called “digital real estate”, I’m going to explain this with a real-world example.

Let’s say, you own a piece of land. A small business sees that your location is a favorable spot for their business, and wants to rent it.

And basically, that’s it. Once you allow the business itself to rent your place, the business owner will pay you a certain amount of “rental fee”, depending on how long are they staying on that spot.

The “Rank-And-Rent” method works the same way, but only in digital form. You set up a website, generate leads by ranking high on Google Searches, and only then you’ll be able to sell those leads to other small businesses.

Of course, in order for this to work, the website you have should be able to be visited by plenty of users online (thus, generating leads.)

Let’s go back to that example of the piece of land you own. In order for it to be more attractive to any business owner, the location should be in a place where it’s highly visible and accessible to people, especially passers-by (AKA Traffic).

In digital marketing terms, this means your website should be able to rank highly in Google Searches for it to become more visible. Since this is how you can generate your leads.

The owners of Zuubly claim that this business method is the most lucrative out of all the methods of making money online. And frankly, I agree, if I may say so myself.

How do I know that? Because the method I’m using to earn money is somewhat similar to this, yet is more effective. It has already given me consistent reoccurring monthly income, and it hasn’t failed me ever since.

But while we share the same business method, I can easily tell you that mine is much more reliable than Zuubly’s. I’ll tell you more about why later. But if you want to know more about it, just click on the link below:

The Man Behind Zuubly

Zuubly is created by Shiv Aiyar.

Zuubly - Shiv Aiyar

Despite his young age, Shiv Aiyar seems to be quite active in the blogging scene quite early. In fact, he has been featured in Nickelodeon once.

In the video, it shows that he’s been making reviews about various tech gadgets on his blog named “TeenCastic”, possibly as a hobby at first. It only became a potential for earning a form of money when some big companies began to take note of his blog, and asked him to write product reviews about their gadgets.

He’s also been seen hanging out regularly with the likes of Ippei Kanahara and Dan Klein. In fact, it was from these guys from which he learned the lead generation business model that he’s been using up until today.

But instead of promoting their training programs, it seems that he has branched off and made his own. This led to the beginning of Zuubly.

Zuubly: Inclusions

According to the website, these are just some of the things that you’ll get when you join the Zuubly program.

  • 20+ Hours of Video Training (Step-By-Step, High Definition Videos)
  • 20+ Hours of Audio Training
  • WYSIWYG Website Builder
  • Secret Tracking Software – For hands-free tracking of every email and call your site gets, automatic forwarding to any business owner, and covering any local number within the city.
  • A so-called “Proven Prospecting System” that they say you can do without leaving home, able to do it in any city, and is introvert-friendly. No selling is needed, just hand out samples virtually. You can close deals via email, text, phone, or social media, or they’ll just do it for you.
  • Custom Calculators – For finding the most profitable niches, scaled to the desired level of monthly income.
  • Live Weekly Zoom Sessions
  • Recordings of Past Zoom Sessions
  • Private Facebook Group Access
  • Live Events Access
  • Outsourcing Department – Basically, instead of setting up your lead generation business yourself, Zuubly will provide you with a done-for-you business service so you can still earn money from lead generation, even without putting in any work at all.

Additionally, the Zuubly program is constantly updated. You only need to pay once, and you’ll get access to new and updated content as soon as it becomes available.

How Much Does Zuubly Cost?

Currently, the price to apply for the Zuubly program is stated to be around $2,980. They also offer various payment plans. You can either join for two monthly payments of $1,750 each, or four monthly payments of $1,000.

However, applying for the payment plans will also increase the total price of the course to $3,500 and $4,000, respectively.

Keep in mind however, that for you to set up your business, you will need to spend more for other things. Such as…

  • Website & Domain Hosting
  • Additional Call Trackers (the one provided by the course is quite limited)
  • Email Autoresponders
  • Cost of a P.O. Box
  • Keyword Research Software (some are free, but others can cost quite a bit)
  • Cost For Paid Ads (Optional)

It’s not really a bad thing if you want to spend more on those as you’ll definitely need them. But the real issue here is the cost of the Zuubly program itself.

It was definitely very expensive. And in my own opinion, when you compare the value that you can gain from this program to its price point, I would say that it’s not worth it. At all.

My Favorite Program

Is Zuubly Worth Joining?

The business model of lead generation is a completely legit business. And you can definitely make good money from it.

However, what I don’t like about the Zuubly program is that they’re not being transparent about the legitimacy and effectiveness of this course.

Notably, the reviews of this program are only from sites that use Zuubly itself. The credibility of such reviews is questionable at best.

Worse, I did try their challenge in each review to search for the businesses in question and it did not come up on the Google Map pack, which is arguably the most important aspect of local Search Engine Optimization (SEO). They did appear below but their site being too specific and unique (e.g., a company that specifically provides Palm tree services, just Palm trees) is most likely the reason they rank like that and not because of a strategy being taught by a course priced at $2,980.

Also, if you think that having your website rank first on Google SERP is a one-time job, then prepare to be sorely mistaken.

Remember that even in local businesses, your fellow internet marketers will also be vying for that rank for that particular keyword. So expect that the competition will be quite intensive for it.

As what my mentor, “SEO is war”. If you even just let down your guard for one moment, you’ll immediately lose your rank. And possibly all that leads you worked for.

It’s not uncommon for someone in the lead generation business to be creating quite a lot of content on an almost daily basis JUST to keep their ranks up.

Also, one thing to note is that Zuubly isn’t the only one using lead generation via a digital asset business model. There are several others who use the same approach. For example, Joshua T. Osborne’s Bad Ass MarketersDouglas James’ courses, and others.

While many of their business models are quite legit, many of them use either blackhat SEO, gray hat SEO, or even outdated SEO tactics to rank your website. Remember, using any of these SEO methods will have a negative impact on your site.

And more or less, the same can be said for Zuubly.

More Issues About Shiv Aiyar

Furthermore, the reputation of Shiv Aiyar, the creator of Zuubly, isn’t really the best one there is. A good example is this one.

Specifically, a failed Kickstarter project under Hedron LLC suggests Shiv’s problematic attitude. The way this said project falls apart is slightly suspicious, something about credit cards getting declined and some “assholes” leaving Shiv to jump on another Kickstarter.

This is what Shiv said. Something’s actually off. I just feel like what Shiv mentioned is just an excuse to try and run away with the pledged money. I mean, there’s a screenshot that claims that it’s actually Shiv who locked out the other members from accessing the project.

“He has been either unreachable or refusing to let us in. The sad part is we used to be best friends,” the other three members (Ariane, Savand, and Keanu) commented. To top it off, Shiv handled the issue poorly by not communicating the problem well and being so slow in processing refunds.

The fact that he’s able to do this to what they consider his “best friends” can say so much about Shiv himself. As of late, I don’t really how Shiv has responded to this issue, but it seems that he’s just virtually ignored it.

Can you trust a guy like that? Personally, I don’t think so.

Alternatives To Zuubly

Instead of creating a website for lead generation, which is more expensive and doesn’t really generate effective passive income in most cases…

You may opt to try lead generation using Google ads and Facebook ads.

While they’re still a needed initial investment, it’s not going to be as expensive as the previous one. Furthermore, this one has a greater potential for you to earn literal passive income with little effort.

Zuubly Review: Final Thoughts

Before I end this Zuubly review, I would like to share a few more insights that might help you decide.

Most of the so-called mentors that promote any of these online courses always start off by flexing some of their belongings. They usually involve, a high-end car, a big house, the freedom to travel to different parts of the world, etc.

And yes. Zuubly is no exception. I mean…look at this.

Zuubly & Ippei Kanahara

It’s something to take note of because they did claim that they won’t use any flexing of expensive thins to market their courses. And yet, here we are.

Even more interesting is that, they all make it sound so easy. They always claim that they will help you achieve what they have, if you join their business model.

In my own opinion, they’re only half-truths. Yes. It’s possible to become rich by doing a lead generation business, but it’s not going to be that easy.

For this reason, I would just leave you with this.

If you think Shiv Aiyar’s lead generation business model is something that’s in tune with what you want to do, then you can join him if you like. Just remember that it’s not going to be as easy as he wants you to think.

Personally, I won’t recommend Zuubly. The biggest reason for this is that, the reputation of the creator isn’t really the best one there is right now.

If you want to get started on a lead generation business, there’s something here that I can offer you that’s, in my opinion, much easier to do, and with less hassle.

If you want to find out more about it, keep on reading beyond this Zuubly review.
